The angel shook his head. "Heaven is no longer home for me..." he said. "Did I neglect to mention that?" He'd been so weak and exhausted he wasn't sure what he had and hadn't told her.

Sariel looked down at the mattress. "I failed. I was a guardian angel. And through my own complacency allowed my charge to be killed. Then I proceeded to contest reassignment." he said miserably.

Avalon placed her hand on his knee the only part of his body she could reach while being laid "i'm sure it's not completely your fault...no one wouldn't do it himself"she smiled at him "that's not a reason for the gates of heaven to be closed for you!"she said softly

Avalon frowned "if it's like you say then heaven doesn't seem to be the place people are saying...there's supposed to be full of happiness not stress'she said tilting her head in confusion

Avalon nodded " so I guess the fights you give are against demons right? And seriously I don't believe heaven accepts people of my race..." she said being a little embarrassed for not being a complete human.

Avalon waited that question "heh..i am a half vampire from the side of my father...ya know evil creatures"she rolled her eyes "you know what they say...demons and vampires both come from hell...i doubt heaven will accept a hybrid"she said and looked at the ceiing for a second thinking
