 Grim spinned his spinning the cane round her claws. But only after he was done twisting the angle of her hand away from him were you finaly able to tell the cane was a katana. "Your too close." he said as the point came toward her throat. OCC sad ( @ Evelyn. Its up to you.))

Grim smilled as he used leverage and his strength to twist his blade from her grip. At the same time, he did a spin using the sheath of his cane to try and hit Yuki in the gut before rolling away, kneeling in a defencive stance with both parts of his cane. "Wanna try again?"

She gasped a little, but still could go on. Her inner bloody characteristic is nagging her to shove it way to surface, but she pushed it away. As she heard the teacher, she gave him a smile and said, "I would like to, but maybe I should give women over there a chance to fight with you." Her head low in her body, she locked her hips onto his side, reducing the distance between them. Grim smiled at how fast she started working. He ducked under Marianna's kick and performed a reverse kick with so much power and force that he could kick her off his leg and make a dent in the wall she would end up hitting. "I have learned that even pure force and power can over come speed and skill." he said as he laughed some to himself.

She grit her teeth as she charged once more. So agility isn't going to work... Eyeing his cane, she charged once more towards him before twisting her body around his. She knew she was going to get hit again, but as long as she kicked his cane away, she was going to take it. As her eyes met his in the middle of her turn, she angled her foot, sending the cane in his hand flying to the other end of the room. Once the deed was done, she closed her eyes, scrunching her face as she prepared herself for impact.OOC: ((Merry Christmas!))

There ain't no way to hide you lyin' eyes Dio slipped into the knife fighting room and glanced around. There were only three people there, two girls and a man. The man was fighting the blonde girl, and just by looking he could tell that the guy was winning, although that didn't mean much, a fight could turn around in a moment, a tricky move, a slip of the hand and the tables were turned. Of all the people to know, Dio was one, you didn't grow up in a secret mercenary organization without learning how to fend for yourself, and if there was anything Dio knew, it was hand-to-hand and other types of close combat, after all, he had been trained personally by his father, the top general in the organization.
He heard the teacher mutter something about pure force overcoming speed and skill and smirked. Maybe the people he had been fighting just weren't fast or skillful enough, after all, Dio had seen the exact opposite many times in the organization. At that thought, he frowned. He hadn't thought so much about the organization before coming to Fuyu, yet now he found himself thinking about it a lot. The fact that he had run into Chloe earlier in the year didn't help, and his run in with that girl who had claimed to be the leader's daughter.... What was her name? Suirren? At the thought of her, his hand flew up to the side of his neck where she had bit him. The puncture marks had since healed, and Dio hadn't shown any sign of vampyrism so he thought he was safe, but he was still being cautious.
He stepped away from the door and headed further into the room, although he stayed near the wall, and away from the others. Leaning back on the wall, he crossed his arms across his chest and watched the fight that was in progress.

Grim smiled as he threw his cane tot eh side with force that it pierced and became stuck in the wall. Then he grabed mariana's kick and tworled her over his head some before letting go toward the new guy. If she spinned or rolled out of the hrl was up to her. "Never look at your enemies weapon when your going to try and disarm him. Its a sign at times. And they prepare." he said as he walked to his desk taking his jacket off and rolling up his sleaves. he never cared for the jacket. made him look like he was from the early England ages. He only liked the top hats from then. And as he though of that, he replaced his helmet with a red top hat. "Now, are you going to keep going? or do you feel like a break. I promise not to use a weapon. It'll me free hadn vs your weapon, deal?" he said with a smile. he was enjoying his students this year. Each had more spirit and will then the last.

'Able to counter back the speed with a large amount of force and throw the girl without a sweat, he's totally knowledgeable and skillfull. Nothing less to expect from this Academy teacher.' Yuki thought as she observed the girl being throw back again. She hoped to fight him again, but as the new guy came in, her attention was pulled to him.
With a quick observation, she immediately knew that the guy is packed with lot of experience and fighting skills and he also must have worked on numerous mission for unknown group before he joined here. 'A guy with mystery past and wonderful skill isn't hard to find in this school.' She thought as she reminised how many students here that she found to be full of mystery. Not only mysterious, but also contained different species that most of normal people thought that it's only myth. Her family have always fight with those species so often, and that's why she isn't surprise to see them when she first entered the Academy this morning.
She have observed him for quite long, and then decided to greet him rather than continued watching like a stalker. Making friend is what she should do while she's studying here, and not enemy. She walked toward him at the wall and stood before him. She bowed down a little for politeness and greeted him with smile. Though a demon within her doesn't feel like being friendly, but her mind is in control of it and she would be friendly as much as she want.
"Hello! I'm Yuki. Nice to meet you! This is my first day here. How about you?" She happily said and held her hand out for a hand shake.

As they both crashed to the floor, she got up quickly, bowing and blushing profusely. "I'm really sorry!" As she turned around to face Grim, she noticed that he placed a large top hat on his head, causing her to laugh a bit. But when asked whether she wanted a break, she cringed. "Do you need a break? Bones tend to be more brittle in older men." She commented sarcastically. Turning her body, she was balancing a small knife on her foot as she waited for his answer. "I'm game if you are. A couple bumps and bruises isn't going to hurt much."OOC: ((Merry Day After Christmas!))

Grim smiled. "You've got a hell of alot of spirit. I like it. Besides, I'm only 27. I'm not old compared to my tribe. They used to live up to 300." He smiled as he popped every joint in his hands and arms before raising his arms up in a weird fighting style. "Ladies get the first try my dear." Very few people new the fighting style that he used. A mix of outright punching and his favorite, Drunken Monkey.
