Mintz smiled, "Cool, a lake" he exclaimed already thinking of what animal to shift to so he can to the little lake within five minutes.

Kenshin saw that Mintz got a bit excited about the idea of a lake, but Kenshin can't seem to appreciate it. The injuries of his feet really are draining him, making him feel more ill even....
"Before you go off would you mine helping me to my room, I don't feel I am even able to make it in my state..." Kenshin replied waving a hand over his wrapped feet...

"Yes, sure. No problem Kenshin" said Mintz and he got up. He moved over to him and picked him up like an injuried animal onto his arms to keep the feet from touching the floor. "Led me to where your room is then" he said afterward.

Kenshin used one arm to hold onto Mintz's neck, Kenshin was larger but seemed to weigh nothing to Mintz. He pointed down the hall he originally lead Mintz through....
"My usual room is next to the one I brought you to..."

Mintz walked down the hall then entered the room that was next to the room that he slept in minutes ago. He set Kenshin down on his bed and stood back up afterward.

Kenshin felt exhaustion the moment he was placed into the bed, his body was taking a greater toll then he thought. He tried to keep up a facade until Mintz would leave...

"A bit odd way to put it, but okay though" said Mintz. "Have a good rest, Kenshin" he told him before he left the room and headed for the trees as soon as possible without shifting.

Kenshin felt the color drain his face as he collapsed onto his pillow. He knew that even the little blood loss he had has drained out his energy, most likely weaken himself ill. He wished he could go out there with Mintz, but most likely he wouldn't be able to lift himself out of bed. Kenshin felt himself drift into unconciousness, he thought how he told Mintz he could escape whenever he pleased....
"I hope he is still here when I wake up...It'd be nice...." Was Kenshin's last thought before he went into an unrestful sleep...

Mintz shift to a robin and flew up into the air to find the little lake. Once he got above the tree tops he shifted to a falcon and let the wind guide him to the lake. It took him at least five minutes to get to the little lake then dropped into the water as a fresh water trout. He swam around until his time in this form was up then sprang out of the water before changing to his human form. "That was fun" he said, but he felt like he was missing something and figured because he was here alone.

Kenshin started to feel cold, though sweat still drenched his body. He wanted to get out of bed, but his chest felt so heavy it was like he was suffocating....

Mintz sighed, "It isn't fun on my own anymore" he frowned. He shifted to a falcon again and flew into the sky to go back to the house.

Kenshin started cough heavily, trying to breathe. He needed to sit up, he needed to breathe....

Mintz shifted back to his human form in mid-air and landed on the porch. He stood up as he heard coughing then he walked to Kenshin's room. He walked inside the room and without thinking about it he helped Kenshin sit up seeing that he was having trouble breathing.

Kenshin felt himself lifted up and he focuss on two things, breathing and the arms supporting him. Kenshin soon got his breathing in order and looked up....
"Thank you...sorry for the worry..." Kenshin sighed, he is not used to someone around and feels embarassed by this. It must be getting toward the colder season, winter or something...

" It was no problem and worth the worry" he said smiling a little feeling good about helping him. "At least something came out of coming back earlier" he thought.
