Matt clearly wasn't going to get up very fast after that missed high risk move. Nonetheless he crawled over to the announcer tables and slowly pulled himself up to his feet , his other arm covering his ribs and a grimace of pain upon his now partially painted face.

Meanwhile the referee counted to four.*

Matt managed to duck underneath the kick and E Rock's leg whistled over his head. He had been looking for a knockout blow from the sounds of it!

With E Rock on the floor, Matt decided to heed the ref. Maybe for the first time in history that somebody would actually listen to an official! Anyway, Matt staggered over to the ring apron and rolled back into the ring underneath the bottom rope. After breaking up the count he rolled back out onto the apron and pulled himself up using the ropes. He would then wait for E Rock to once again get up to his feet before he would run forward and attempt to clobber E Rock with a cannonball plancha off of the ring apron!
((Or a front flip dive lol))

With the crowd on their feet cheering, Matt rolled off of E Rock and slowly pushed himself up onto his hands and knees. He then leaned back on his knees, held his arms out to the side, and screamed out at the crowd!

A tired and hurt Matt pushed himself up onto his knees and grabbed E Rock by the hair. He then attempted to land a few hard right hand punches to the man's face!

Matt left E Rock alone for the moment and pulled himself up to his feet. He would then look for a little revenge and attempt to stomp E Rock's face in!
