Adib The Wreckers follows the storyline established at BotCon 2001 (maybe 2002), involving basically the BotCon exclusive characters - CatSCAN, Apelinq, Cyclonus (the repaint of BM Jetstorm), Arcee, etc... Micromasters #3 just came out a little while ago so I think #4 will be later this month. I am not from Vancouver but I visit there every summer as I have a lot of family there. That's also where I want to work when I graduate. The covers often just show characters the artists want to draw, not ones from the issues - look at the covers for G1 volumes 1 and 2, often the characters on the covers were not in the books. Ok that easest me some sweatdrop knowing that #3 only came out recently then I didn't blow it and missed the issue biggrin

Does your comic book store do "subscriptions?" At mine I tell them what titles I want to subscribe to and they basically set aside each issue that I want for me so I can pick them up at my discression. They even give me all the different covers (except incentives) if I ask them.

They have a poor website with no update, they put stuff on hold once you call though... That's about it... and if you try to order something they don't even try to get it crying Edit: There is this other place but it's like another city... takes me 3 hours on bus to get there crying *sigh*

I have a "box" at my comic store. The people there know me and can pretty much guess what I will be looking for so they will set some comics aside for me until I come in. If I don't want all the titles they saved for me its no big deal. But they are pretty good at guessing what I will be looking for. I heart my comic shop! biggrin Its about 40 minutes from my house. There is one closer, but its kind of trashy and doesn't have good customer service so I refuse to go there.

My local comic shop is about 10 minutes away and they're great. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Here at school I don't get to go there that often (as it's 4.5 hours away) but there's a local shop about 30 mins away that I can go to to peruse the newest issues. I don't buy from there that much though since I know I'll have the issues waiting for me when I get home. I did find the G1 Volume 1 Hardcover there though...that was an awesome find.

I'm pretty sure they will, though I don't think it's schedualed yet. Maybe after they see if the comic does well.

Believe me, I have plenty of room. I read a lot, and intensively read TF material. I can't wait for vol 2 of MTMTE. I might just keep an eye open for more books like it. A Beast Wars/Machines guidebook might be just as interesting! heart

What does everyone think of DreamWave's newest press release? I for one am very disappointed that James McDonough is leaving the G1 Ongoing - I liked his writing a great deal more than Chris Sarracini's writing. McDonough seemed to be able to convey the characters' voices a great deal better than Sarracini and I liked his plots better. I also am going to miss Figueroa's artwork on the G1 Ongoing. Pat Lee's work is nice but I prefer Don's.

A lot of the staff have not gotten their proper pay yet sweatdrop So I would suggest savoring the moments we have with these TF comics while they are still here...

Figueroa's not leaving, he's doing Beast Wars still.
Where did you hear of their financial problems?
