Dasher Lossen is one of the leaders of the Son of Yule's sled team. His position is directly in front of Prancer when hitched up. He was one of the few who were recruited by the Son of Yule himself, which is what makes him one of the leaders. Now helping the Son of Yule in recruiting, training, and accepting new Lossen. As more presents and Mearh appear, more Lossen are needed to bring on the presents.
Dasher is also the biggest obstacle that any new Lossen to the team has to get over. He expects all new Lossen to prove themselves to him and then to prove themselves to the Son of Yule himself. No Lossen who is considered unworthy is allowed to pull the Son of Yule's sled, and he makes sure of that.

One of the eight Ista Anann Lossen and a follower of the Son of Yule. Working along side the others to bring presents to the children of Meardhon and keeping travelers from getting lost in the snow. Wearing a special harness capable of pulling great sleighs behind them all and adorned with bells so they can be found, even in the dark of night.

Lore of the Son of Yule:
Each year when the Yule festival is held, a Mearh is chosen to represent the Son of Yule and herald the start of the celebrations. Dressing up in the traditional garb he takes on the role and brings joy and cheer to the mearas.
The Son of Yule is the first born son and patron of those who head their homes. Everyone was a first, and will eventually be on their own.
The Son of Yule offers guidance through the hard times and only stays in the sky until Yule Eve, at midnight he must return to the sky to guide travelers. But once a year, he descends from the place near Leanna to join Mearh in celebration of winter's end. Bringing gifts and candy to little Mearhs who have been good and made life easier for the heads of their houses.
The Son of Yule is known by many names, such as; Yule-Son, First Star and First-sun. The latter meaning the first day, which is longer than night in winter, when the sun begins to rise into the sky.
He is the symbol of first-born sons who give the gifts of prosperity, presents like toys and candy, to their younger siblings. Leading them in the cold long nights of winter, guarding and guiding them until the sun warms them again, starting Yule Day. He is the Winter's Guardian, keeping families safe and clearing night skies for travelers.
Reindeer type horns are on his head and a scarlet cape lined in white fur, with a great beard down to his hips; he is a Horned Lord who seeks family values, children, and happiness.
Coinciding with the equinox, he is the first return of the sun---the day starts getting longer thereafter, and the Second-born is expected to carry the flame for the family and the first son "Santa" goes on his way, fading into the spring until he is needed again.

Nikolai Warm enjoys the finer things in life. He likes to collect fine antiques and rare artifacts from around the world. Being one of the best around to tell the worth of anything. He has always had a talent for knowing where things came from and being able to identify who they were made by, and when. Nikolai is a kind and gentle stallion, enjoying spoiling the mares he holds dear to himself. Finding a mate is not his top priority currently simply because he moves around much. He would have to find a mare who wouldn't mind, or be in a point in life where he would be able to settle down and enjoy his relaxed family life.

Nikolai Warm has always enjoyed the finer things in life. Even as a child he spoiled his mother as best he could. Only getting her the best of the best in the things he could find. Always doing his research and checking what things should be worth in this way, he picked up a hobby. He studied these things more and more. Learning each detail different craftsmen enjoyed placing in their work and memorizing their signs and signatures. He wanted to make sure that he could tell a good piece from a bad to make his and his mother's lives easier.
As Nikolai grew older, his hobby instead turned into a career and he took to spoiling mares that were special to him. Even now he still spoils his mother, though he doesn't get to see her very often.

Evergreen is minty and feisty. She often speaks her mind, even when it's not wanted. Enjoying walks in the forest and doing natural crafts, she keeps herself busy. Although she enjoys meeting energetic stallions, mares simply annoy her. There is something about some mares that seems too artificial to her. Though she enjoys many fun activities, she tends to take herself too seriously sometimes. Most others tend to view her as selfish and pig headed. Mearh who get to know her better, however, find out that she is extremely big hearted and very kind to her friends.
Evergreen enjoys only little aspects of family life. Having someone who is there for her was always a plus. But being responsible for someone all the time seems hard to her.

Evergreen has always been truly loyal to those who are good to her. As a young filly she had been the ones all of her herd friends could count on to get the job done. She always had a family who taught her that being together was best for the herd.
As Evergreen grew older, she slowly learned that not everyone was made with loyalty instilled in them. As she helped more Mearh who didn't appreciate it, she became cold hearted and untrusting. Her family had to remind her that no matter what happened, she had. To remember how she was raised and not allow the bad people to bother her. Taking her families advice to heart, she decided to do something she had never done before, separate herself from her herd. Though none of them wanted her to leave, they understood her desire to do more good in the world and help others.
Evergreen has been doing small tasks for many Mearh since leaving her herd. She is waiting for her chance to do something bigger and better for somepony.

Orion Star is an extremely proud stallion. He is not full of himself, though others view him as such. Having a tendency to take himself a little too seriously at times as well. Orion Star had learned to read the stars at a very young age. He had been taken under the wing of one of the top astronomers in the area that he lived. Being taught how to read the stars and track each ones movements was a science that he had become very precise with. His parents were proud of the fact that the Gwilith who observed the stars was even able to teach a Mearh without wings about the stars. Having believed that Gwilith, since they are capable of flight, where the only ones capable of viewing and observing the stars in such a manner. When Orion grew older, he told his parents of his choice to move around the lands, observing and tracking each star in every area. A serious undertaking, but his parents supported him. He has been moving around from town to town observing the night sky and recording it in each area since.

Sandie is the definition of a surf chick. She enjoys the sand and surf about all else, even having the typical lingo and accent of surf rats. Though her favorite thing to do is swimming and surfing, she also loves hiking and plenty of other outdoor activities and sports. She is a very athletic mare, enjoying being competitive with others and then trying to beat them in anything she can. Although she is a sweet Mearh, she decides instantly if she is better than you or not. She can be stuck up, but once you can worm your way into her graces, she is a good friend. Though she doesn't have much thoughts of what she wants to do with herself past enjoying the sun and surf, Mearh who know her have said that she would be a stellar mother.
