(oh Y doesnt have an another alias yet, considering she hasnt met face to face with the other officers yet. but i can just make one up for now.)
Y stared a little confused she got off the couch "well i could take a guess that you seem a little at war with yourself. but what is it you want me to do for your friend. i would usually ask how you got my information but obviously matsuda hear had a lot to do with it." she glared at him "please excuse the mask i fear kira might come back. well not the old kira a new kira. id tell you more but you wouldn't beleive me." she walked into the kitchen and came back with some sweets in a tray "here calm your self down miss namine. you too matsuda have a seat." she grabbed some chocolate and ate it. Y sighed "now obviously you must be dealing with something that most poeple wouldnt understand. i can feel it almost...." she shook her head "uh well i wont explain to you what im thinking but just tell me why you insist on this meeting with me. and i will acknowledge the most unbelievable thing you say dont worry." he turned to her then added "also. until i think you are not kira i will not take off this mask is that alright?"

"Thank you for your kindness." Naminè backed away, and bowed. ......."I can understand your need for caution, Naminè said then referring to the mask. "My friend here actually wishes to help you find Kira." Naminè looked up at the girl and sighed. ......."I wasn't only given information from Matsuda here," Naminè confessed. "Before I tell you who I need you to understand that their are forces in this world that can manipulate the world we know." She paused to let what she said sink in and indulge in L's need for sweets. .......Finally when L was finished she continued on. "What I'm about to tell you is truly unbelievable like you said and if you don't believe me I will understand... My family have taken care of the dying and dead for generations," Naminè whispered trembling as fear began to choke her. ......."Of course during this time some of us were also given bodies which were donated to us that we would experiment on to enhance our knowledge of human anatomy and sometimes medicine as well," Naminè trudged on trying her best to hold herself in place rather than flee and never come out into the light of day again. ......."Thirteen hundred or so years ago my great grandfather Yamida Ishikawa happened upon a rather interesting book that would change the lives of our family forever." Naminè dropped her head in shame. "He Delved into a dark magic that is know known as necromancy. He intertwined the magic with his work and in his notes he wrote of how he was able to speak to the dead, and even bring them back to life with the proper tools to prepare the souls travel and memories.".......Naminè was silent then as she tried pulling herself back together, but slowly continued on the best she could. "These powers were not given without sacrifice. Each member of our family has been stricken with serious mental disorders, each one different depending on the person. It ranged from depression and insomnia to schizophrenia and multiple personalities, and sometimes there were the unlucky ones who had multiple disorders that caused them to become quite unstable," Naminè sniffled lightly but forged on. She had come much to far now to stop so soon. "I was lucky, although I have multiple disorders I was only stricken with insomnia, panic disorder, and sometimes mania." .......Naminè looked up from the floor then to look at the girl again. "None of this truly matters when it comes to what I need your help with, but it's detail to attain an ends I suppose." Naminè put on her best smile but it came out looking rather depressing if not ridiculous, "You see, because of all this their is a person who died... That wishes for me to bring him back... He told me that Matsuda was going the wrong way on the drive over her, and when we first arrived he said he thinks he knows you... well remembers you..." Naminè tried to guess what the girl was thinking then, but even L was unsure. ......."Just tell her what we need her for," L whispered to her. ......."I know," Naminè answered no longer cautious to hide her ability. ......."I need to know if you or possibly anyone who knew L Lawliet during his life, or Ryuzaki during the time the spent working together on the Kira case in the past," She finally said. "If I can find them and they cave some sort of connection to him or an object sort of like a hair brush he used, I could bring him back with more of his memories than he would have if I brought him back now." Naminè sighed. "The more the merrier you know?" She tried to smile again, this time succeeding a bit. .......It's all on the table now L, Namine thought to him. Now all we can do is wait.

as namine talked she analysed her quite a bit through out he conversation but when she mention L and his name her eyes went wide. "Namine, you are no liar. and i know there are many forces in this world. kira had one of them, and with unrighteousness took the lives of many innocent. Ones who were not meant to die when they did." she teared up a bit a bit but it went away. she held her mask and pulled it off hair covering her face. "I am the only one left who knew L close during the kira case." she turned and looked namine in the face "i will do all i can to get my friend back hey L." she smiled. talking a bit into the air. "he's here isn't he? Your family are experts of the deceased and your behaviour motion to something here that no one else can see but you." 'like a shinigami' she thought. She smiled a bit "so hows being dead L long time no see....well i can't really see you can i now." she paused and thought a bit. "namine. how... has Lawliet.... been." she showed lots of sadness in her eyes as she looked at namine.

When her mother first told her Naminè herself didn't even believe it, and she heard the voices and saw the apparitions stand before her at times. The entire time she had been talking to the girl she had been raking through her brain for different ways of convincing her it was all true. Searching for a way to prove it all to her. ......."Wh-what?" Naminè stuttered feebly, her breathing slowly becoming more erratic as her level of excitement grew. "Yo- you believe, you really tr-tr-truly believe. Oh wow. Thank God." Naminè sighed deeply and dramatically whipped her forehead. ......."Give me one moment," Naminè whispered holing up one finger. "He's here as I assume you may feel. It is often that people who once knew the semi-deceased person and has a strong connection to that person it is more simple to feel their presence. I'm sure you can feel him easier than most because he's been fiddling with your hair and trying to see past your mask. He remembers you, which is remarkable really in the fact that he hardly remembers much about the former Kira.".......Naminè laughed ecstatic, this is remarkable. "The main problem is that the longer L remains apart from me the more straining it becomes for me to keep his soul attached to the earth," Naminè reached out her hand and wiggled her finger for L to come back to her. "If you don't get back in my head this will all be for naught.".......Returning her focus to the girl, Naminè smiled for the first time in a long while. "Do you have anything on your person or near by that could help us?" Naminè asked her, "The more things that L came into contact with the more memories that will return to him. Although your presence and memories alone will help a great deal in the process of reanimating L's body and mind when entrapping his soul within his body." Naminè began to lose herself in her thoughts as she continued on. "If you still are worried for your safety I would not mind you keeping your mask and also bringing along any other masked 'bodyguards' or witnesses that you may wish for. You may bring as many as you wish, but if you know anyone who might be within your trust or may have known L even a little only three others will be able to join our circle. I also can assure you that L and I will be the only ones affected by this process. L coming back from the dead and me ending my curse and quite possibly ending my life. In any case, you will not be cursed along with the other three, and L will be returned to you as I had previously explained." Naminè shook her head from side to side to stop herself from rambling. ......."You are correct though in you're noticing that Kira has a tool in which he has murdered many and possibly all of his victims," Naminè went on to explain after clearing her head. "L knows of it as a Notebook of death of sorts, but cannot remember anything else about it at this point in time." Naminè stepped forward to stand beside the girl, "My grandfather Yamida also wrote of a creature that he saw from time to time because of the curse. He said they all took terrifying and sometimes disgusting forms, and were demons in control of death itself. He never spoke of them by name though." She sighed then and L shrugged not being able to remember the demon he remembered seeing but could not place the name of either. ......."L apparently doesn't remember either."......."Oh, by the way," Naminè remembered turning to look at the girl, "You wanted to know of Lawliet's being. Of course my ability to talk to the dead has given me an idea of what death is like, there is no one else in the world who can. I forget this rather often." Naminè chuckled lightly and pulled a small blue vial of liquid out of her left pocket. ....... "You're going to let me take over?" L wondered. ......."Only for a moment," Naminè answered him. "Do not stay long though or we can both be lost within a void forever. Our souls lost for the rest of time. Anyway, you have one hour L. Make sure to drink this within five minutes before the expired time." Naminè stressed this to both L and the girl to watch the time. ......."I live at the morgue just north of town beside the local cemetery, if you can take us there while I'm 'gone' that would be wonderful," Naminè said, "Take care of my body L," She commanded before drinking a green vial of liquid that she had in her right pocket. .......For a moment Naminè stood silently and out of nowhere she fell to the floor grasping at her throat and choking violently. Then after only a few seconds Naminè's body stood up from the ground awkwardly and looked at her hands. ......."Well," L wondered aloud, his deep voice contrasting comically with Naminè's small girlish body. "This is most curious." L examined himself a bit more. "I feel like I'm trapped within a box much too small for my body. As if my soul is too larger." L slowly lent down and bit his thumb before returning his attention to the girl and smiling ((the beautiful most amazing smile ever... eep...)) his rather notorious grin. ......."Hello there old friend," L whispered, looking up at her through his hair. "Has it been a long time?"(SIDE NOTE: I noticed that the blue was rather difficult to read the more I had Namine say, so I changed it to green so it would be less difficult. Hope it helps!)

Y stared at her a while before speaking. ".....L....?" she cocked her head "wow i'll believe in shinigami but L possessing a girl not so much." she smiled then stopped "its been quite a long time actually. i'm very disappointed you don't remember much L." she stared at him then checked her watch. 'one hour is more than enough time.' she thought. she turned and walked towards another room. "L follow me.... Matsuda as well, im surprised you of all people didn't notice where we are." she opened the doors to a room with a computer. "this L is where you started the kira investigation. the building on the outside and most rooms, have been remodelled a bit but i assure you nothing in this area of the building has been changed. i can still remember it from when i was a child. due to its new security systems, and background of history involving kira, felt it was a good place to have the first meeting. of course in obviousness, to most people who have done their research they would probably guess i would pick a place here. that's why i was going to change the the meeting place for the new task force somewhere else." she paused a while going to a computer. and turning it on, it showed cameras all around the building and in all the rooms. "i saw namine come in and as she went through the front doors it scanned her." another picture went up on the screen "not a death note in sight. but the mask was just in case for later of course, if she wrote my name later after seeing my face." she smiled very proud, but knew there were still some flaws to her security system.
she turned to namines body and stared a bit at her. "i know you and namine will be able to find some objects of yours here." she sighed crossing her arms and looking away. 'is it really L. or am i just being tricked......' she looked back at him "you dont remember anything?"

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Matsuda ruffled his hair and laughed. "It's been too long. How could I remember this pla-" He stopped and looked around the room. "You really did fix it up a bit didn't you?" Matsuda laughed again, and turned to look at Naminè's body. This is too weird for me... He thought to himself. "I have been becoming increasingly disappointed in myself as well," L said after Matsuda finally 'shut up'. L slouched as he walked in through the room's doorway, and looked around the room slowly never removing his thumb from his lips. The room had a strange energy to it, and L became curious. "I remember this room, but sadly the only people I remember being here were Matsuda and some of the other people from the task force.""You did a wonderful job changing the place," L whispered," But I believe you're right to want to change the location. We cannot risk being found out." L moved towards his old chair, and ran his hand down the arm. "Was someone here after I... died?"

Y's eyes flinched a bit and she looked down a bit upset and distressed "yes light yagami being the only one with the strategical mind left to run the task force took over after you died. That's about when i decided to leave, i kept track of their progress but didn't really interest myself with the case when light was in charge. Matsuda you were more involved at that point you can explain on the examinations further." she uncrossed her arms "do you remember light, in your last moments you two were close......kinda." she hated to think or talk about light. "Also you died in that very spot. if it helps." she fought back some tears. 'that day was pouring rain.' she thought. 'there was something important outside, i cant believe he's forgotten about that. but if namine is right then he should get his memories back i hope.' she paused "you and matsuda talk im going to get some tea and cake "you've gone a long time without sugar" she snickered "i can imagine how much you must be craving it right now." she walked out momentarily into the kitchen and got tea and a bowl of sugar on the side. Then got a couple slices of cake out into three plates. she stood there and stared down. "i wonder why cant he remember, those bells"

"It's somewhat disheartening knowing someone as intelligent as you has forgotten, but I was there in the end so I might be able to help." Matsuda sat down in a chair beside L and started to explain about the events that occurred after his death. "Light Yagami took over after you left just as she said," Matsuda began in a sullen tone. "We all trusted him to do what was right. We never expected him to be Kira.""Naminè had told me that you guys were able to catch Kira, but I can't remember who Light was... I'll have to apologize for my lack of trust in her later..." L looked away in frustration, but motioned for Matsuda to continue on. I never imagined the girl would be telling me the truth... L sighed. "Watari was also killed after you left, but his position was taken over. Along with this two boys were sent here to investigate Light." Matsuda sighed heavily and looked down at the floor. "Light had us all convinced for the longest time that Near and Mello were not to be trusted, and in the end they were the ones who saved us all. Mello died in his attempt, but his death brought forward the information Near needed to close the case." Matsuda looked up at the ceiling, his emotions taking over and forcing a few tears to escape his eyes. "Light died in the most dishonorable way, but that is what he deserved I suppose." Matsuda sniffled and returned his attention to L. L handed Matsuda a tissue from the box on a shelf against the wall, and sat silently in contemplation. "Naminè said I died in a way different for the others. That I died by the hands of a creature she for some reason can not name." L sighed again in frustration as his mind blocked him from the access he so wished to have the key to." Do you know if any of this is actually true?""Sadly, we believe she may be right. Earlier the three of you were talking about a creature that none of you can name, well.... If I remember right Near once spoke of a creature known as a Shinigami or a God of Death. Near believed that Light used a girl named Misa Amane to force a shinigami to kill you," Matsuda looked into L's eyes, his own did not mirror Matsuda's distress but seemed rather sullen. "Light actually stood there and acted as if he was hurt by your death, and this is what caused us to trust him at first..."L nodded and sighed, "I can not believe that I was beaten... I hate losing..."

"light crying out like that after you died also lead me to believe it was him. or maybe as a child I just didn't want to think L was wrong." she walked in with the tray of tea and cake then set it on the table "who knows why I decided to leave," she shrugged and ate her cake. "L i think maybe you should ask some questions, and matsuda are some of the only survivors who were close to you in some way." she swallowed the cake "it may be a while until we're all together again." she said a bit depressed.
she looked at her tea and put a bunch of sugar in it, then stirred. she stared at namine 'i almost forgot its namine's body.' she thought 'even after death L hasn't changed. I'm at least happy for that.' she smiled randomly crossed a leg over the other and sipped her tea.

"Naminè never lets me eat sweets..." L whispered mostly to himself, but loud enough for the others to hear. He gazed at the girl for a long while then, and his head slowly tilted to the side. "I feel like I should know your name," L said to the girl after a long period. "I wonder if my thoughts are restricted by Naminè's knowledge..." L wondered allowed before turning his gaze toward Matsuda. "It's quite possible seeing as I couldn't trully begin to recognize Matsuda even until after he gave Naminè his full name." L glared at Matsuda and sighed. "Have you not learned anything about keeping an alias?"Matsuda blushed an looked away. "Naminè seemed so innocent..." Matsuda tried to rationalize his actions, but knew in his heart that L was right... As he often was... "Was it really you L who told her how to get here? I was curious about how she knew about this place.""Yes," L whispered. "From time to time as we were driving I could feel Naminè's pulse quickening. Her unstable mind has kept her from leaving her home very often, and she became panicked when she realized she had no idea where she was. It was then that I realized it was safest to turn into the hideout." L answered before mentally noting that some of his memories were accessible that Naminè knew nothing of. L turned back to examine the young girl set before him, this time with a bit more success. "You said you were here during the Kira case while I was in charge of the investigation, right miss?" L asked her.

Y nodded. she was silent a long time. then she placed her tea down and sat up "if your memories are completely locked away. Then i guess i need to add some influence to you gaining them back." she sighed "i was hoping you would just remember but...." she went towards a wall and pushed on it. a small bit of it went in and something popped out beside Y. she too it out. "why i put so much precaution to keep these safe i dont know. its very childish but." she walked over and opened the box. and held two small jingling bells. she rang them a bit out of amusement. "right before you died you told me when i was young that you heard these bells, constantly these bells were ringing. i didn't understand. you then told me to run away and go some place safe. I did for a while, but i heard the bells from my earrings and thought thats what you meant. obviously not, but i thought they were special to you or something" she shrugged "so i ran back to give them to you. but......." her hands tightened up "when i came to look around the corner, you collapsed in his arms. he had you. and you died. So for what ever reason i hid the earrings." she paused a long time "after many years i found them once more and hid them here, " she shrugged. "i realized that perhaps the bells you were "hearing"" she made quotation marks with her hands "were something of your past at wammy's." she placed the box on the table with the earrings and sipped her tea sitting back down. "when i saw you die that die i didn't want anything to do with the task force or mysteries. but after a while i just couldn't resist. Of course with my limited power i've only solve a couple crimes. HA in fact i had to use the name of L in order to get the police on my side" she snickered ".....haha sorry about that. but using L would have been more effective, in my view." she rubbed the back of her head.

"Y," L whispered adressing a young girl as he held her shoulders and looked into her eyes. "I need you to run away. Find a cab and just drive for a while, go back to my apartment, or anywhere you can think of that's far from here. Okay?"The little girl smiled brightly, "Is this a game nii-san?" The girl jumped up an down excitedly. She knew L wasn't her true brother, but he looked after her, and she looked after him in the same way family is supposed to watch out for each other. L had grown quite attached to the young girl as she stayed with him in Japan. L had been the first person to see her when she came to live at the Whammy house, and now she would be the last to see him alive. L sighed, but put on the best smile he could and nodded. "I hope you don't mind that Matsuda will have to come find you this time. Big brother L hasn't been feeling well," L ruffled the girls hair and hugged her close when she gave him a small pleading pout. "I've been hearing ringing in my ears," L whispered to her. "Maybe once it's gone I'll come looking for you." Y smiled one of her especially remarkable smiles, and for the first time in L's life he could feel himself losing his mind to his emotions. "Go on now," L said in the most excited voice he could muster, "Hurry, or else Matsuda will find you first." With that Y ran quickly from the building and the memory faded out of focus as the doors closed behind her, with Matsuda following just behind. It took a moment for L to return to reality, and when he did he realized he had fallen to the ground and was cradling his head in his hands. Matsuda and Y both standing close by with worried expressions on their faces. "Y?" L whispered as he pushed himself up from the ground. "That's your name right?" L collapsed back on the floor, and looked down at his watch. "s**t," L whispered before quickly lifting the blue vial of liquid to his lips and drinking deeply. "Y...""Ermmm... I think it's time we get her... him... ummm... them? to Naminè's place," Matsuda suggested quietly, unsure of the emotion written on the girls face. He studied it for a moment and chuckled. "It really has been too long," Matsuda said as he lifted Naminè's body up from off the ground. "I didn't recognize the building, I couldn't recognize the lab, and I didn't even recognize you." Matsuda laughed again more hysterically as his emotions tore through his facade. sweatdrop

If you want me to add or change anything from the memory scene let me know, also I hope you don't mind me saying that Matsuda and you also were worried about L. I figured Y would act that way. Hope you don't mind.

(its fine blaugh if there were any issues i would mention it.)
Y stared a while at namine. then nodded. "right." she grabbed a ski mask and put it over her head. then went to help matsuda lift L to the car they came in. she opened the car door and got namine in and closed it behind her. Y then got in the car as well. "all right matsuda take us to namine's place." she sat in the back with namine's body and a ski mask on. "Namine are you coming back?" she asked looking at the body, not entirely what will happen. "its almost morning, i'm sorry we stayed up so late." she said simply out loud. Y thought back 'so he did remember.' she smiled to herself happy. 'so, i wonder how long L has been watching, or even aware he was in the after life...' her thoughts began to trail off and she shook her head. 'right now i should focus a bit more on the present murders, whether kira has come back or not. I really dont believe kira has come back, these recent murders are based on assassination of the criminals known around the area, but they are being murdered and we can plainly see that from the stab wounds and so on, kira would use the death note. Which involves heart attacks, or manipulation of suicide of some sort. well it could be possible the person is manipulation one person to kill these criminals but then again....' well she kept on thinking and staring off into space. she held tightly to a bag in her hands that held sweets for L.

She sat up slowly, and the world spun around her and she grasped her head in her hands tightly. She groaned and looked around. "We're here," Matsuda said in a sing song voice as he put the car in park. "How long did L stay?" Naminè whispered rhetorically before scooting to the door. She stopped then and looked around the car. "Wait. Did you not bring anyone else?" Naminè said confusedly, but shrugged it off and opened the door to head toward her front door. "Follow me if you will," Naminè whispered as she stumbled through the door. Naminè's house was rather gloomy and most of the light came from candles that she lit as she walked to the back of her house. Naminè sighed and leaned against a steel door, and put in the code to open it. "I've kept L's body in here in order to keep his body from decomposing," Naminè said as the green button above the door frame dinged. A bright light beamed through the door and Naminè shielded her eyes as they adjusted to the light. An antiseptic aroma burst through as well, and Naminè coughed quietly into her elbow. "L said he didn't like darkness or filth, and I didn't want anyone to break in and recognize him." Naminè sighed and smiled at the girl. "Would you like to talk to him before I bring him back? Give him the last and first words and what not." Naminè held the door open for Matsuda and the Y to enter, and closed and locked it behind her. "Just in case your afraid I'm about to kill you, the code is written there beside the door's lock system," Naminè laughed and Matsuda blushed a bright red. "I have three twenty seven non-moving cameras in this room that can see absolutely everything except for that note." Naminè smiled triumphantly as she finally was able to tell someone of her work. "This here is my best work yet though," Naminè was glowing with pride as she gazed upon an enormously large tube in the center of the room. L's body was floating in a container filled within the odd blue ooze, and Matsuda couldn't help but gaze at it in shock and awe. He moved to tap the glass but Naminè slapped his hand away. "Are you a child, or do I need remind you not to tap on the glass?" Naminè seethed furiously. "Do not disturb the body." Naminè turned on her heel and pulled a gurney over to an opening in the glass and screwed it into place before moving behind the tube and typing in three codes. Each one a step in carefully removing the body from it's slumber. "So, what do we do now?" Matsuda wondered allowed once L was safely transported and cleaned off. He was trying not to think about the fact that L was barely clothed. A small towel was all that covered him. "One moment," Naminè whispered to Matsuda, "L are you with us?" Naminè said allowed. At first here was only silence, and just as Naminè was about to go into serious freak out mode L finally answered her. "I'm here, I was having a problem navigating back to you.""That's because you weren't watching the time," Naminè scolded L, but laughed again. "Don't worry. When my mother was still alive she let my father take over her body, and we almost went over the limit too. My mother slept for days before she woke again. The two of us must be much stronger mentally." Naminè turned to Matsuda and Y. "Did you bring anything to add to the ceremony?" Naminè asked them both. "If you did I must ask that you place each object on L's body in an area in which the object would be closest. A brush for instance would go in the hand or on the head, and a shirt would go on the top of his chest."Matsuda shook his head 'no' and they both turned to look at Y. Naminè smiled in encouragement but looked away to give her some privacy. If anyone knew what it felt like to be stared at it was her...
