"Hey, hey, you can't skip out now!" the lead singer said. "The party's only starting!"
Roch grinned down at the baku, appreciating the applause. He was actually a little high at the moment, his adrenaline rushing from the game. That was one of his favorite things to do, after all. He reached down to pick her up, slipping her into the hold he'd gotten comfortable with over the night.
"One more song?" he asked her.

There was no harm in one more song. Xiu nodded in agreement, though she emitted a little yawn as she was picked up again. Good thing, too, since it looked as if she was close to dozing up soon. The Baku was up far later than she usually was, and though she had been a little more awake for the competition, now that it was over...
Xiu yawned again, but forced herself to stay awake. One more song, and then she would have to stay awake when they went back to Amity. Hopefully Roch wouldn't try to take her back to her room--what would the reaper think when he realized that she (or her human form, at least) was missing at this hour?
...Hopefully no one else had swung by either while she was out, but considering the time, she doubted that.

One song turned into two, then three, with Roch hanging out on the stage for the concert, enjoying every loud moment of it. When the little Baku fell asleep on him he unzipped his vest and made a little bed for her behind the stage.
The sun was starting up in the sky by the time he started home, yawning loudly and carrying the little Baku wrapped up in his vest back to the school.

Xiu hadn't even realized that she had fallen asleep until it was already morning. Waking up suddenly, she opened her eyes a crack to take in the sun, emitting a little whine as she tried to turn over on her bed and go back to sle--
--wait a minute. Something was wrong. The Baku's eyes popped open as she realized that she wasn't in her human form or in her room. She was...she was being carried. At once, a rush of memories returned, and Xiu glanced up to see that Roch was the one who was carrying her along. That was right...they had been at a concert. She had listened to some music, met Austin, and...
...Annnnd Roch had no idea that she was Xiu, and not some pet. Technically now would be as good of a time as any to tell the reaper the truth, but she found that she couldn't do it. What if...what if he got upset? The thought of a friend being mad at her made her uneasy, so she clamped her mouth shut.
As the neared the school, she suddenly remembered how she didn't want for Roch to bring her all the way to her room to "return" her to her "owner". Without much warning, she began to wriggle in his arms, slipping free from the vest and his arms. With a vaguely panicked look, Xiu bowed her head to him quickly in thanks, and without a single word, fled towards the demon dorms.

He watched her go a bit blankly, then shrugged, yawning and heading off to his dorm room to get some much needed sleep.
Hopefully he wouldn't miss any classes.
