And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Flushing darker as his girlfriend blushed, he prepared a denial for any accusations; when none came, he calmed slightly. He simply nodded to her statement, considering things from the boy's perspective. "Do you think he'll mind?" he asked, slightly curious. He had heard the younger Sol speak fondly of the other boy, but that didn't necessarily mean the mousy musician returned this fondness. Hopefully, the young redhead hadn't driven the poor boy crazy yet.

Mizuki giggled. It helped her blush lessen. "If he does mind I'll have to tell him too bad and that he's only the number two man in my life." She answered. It was an easy guess who the number one man was. Putting her father as at most the third person who could get her to do something. Then again there could be a fight between Len and her father. After all she was taken in my the vice principal after she left Atlantis. "I think he can handle himself. He has three older brothers and they're pretty loud." She added.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Smiling faintly at his girlfriend's response, the spirit accepts her statement in stride. At the mention of having brothers, he simply nodded to accept this information. "He should be okay if he is not sick of Cam yet." the teacher wasn't really worried about the boy's reaction to Adney, who would likely leave him alone or would at least be courteous. Camrion, however, would likely drag the poor boy around given half a chance. Cedric would have to deal with one fewer person, and only one loud one; surely he would be able to manage that. "I think Cam is quite fond of him, actually."

Mizuki smiled. It seemed at Pyry had agreed to stay in her room during the trip now that he was sure that Cedric wouldn't jump off the balcony to end his torture with Adney and Cam. "I'm really glad that Cedric is making friends. He has had a hard life. He may have three great brothers and an uncle, but his parents died when he was young." Mizuki mentioned a bit about the child she saw as a little brother.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Taking a drink from his near empty glass, the spirit considered this news carefully before responding. "I do not know much about the nature of parents and having them." he admits, pausing long enough to gently set his glass back on the table. "I do know that Mister and Misses Sol died many years ago, as well as the youngest child." he didn't know too many details, only that there had been an accident and only the brothers had gotten out alive. He knew it was not a pleasant subject, and so did not ask questions about it.

She knew that Pyry didn't understand the nature of parents. That was something that would probably change if the swim teacher is the father of her child. The only that made her face change a little was that she didn't know that they had lost a sister. She had already guessed that they had lost their parents because of come mentions of living here and there by themselves or with Pyry. She had her parents and twenty siblings. Even if she pretty much raised herself. "It's kind of sad. That kind of story reminds me that I'm lucky to have my parents. Even if we don't agree on anything at this rate. I ran away because I believed no stance on policies was like letting both sides get away with something." The mermaid commented.

Noticing her expression change, the spirit wonders briefly what was wrong; he knew he had mentioned the Sol's lack of parents at least once before. Maybe it was the sister? He didn't know much about the girl except her name, her status as the youngest, and her lack of hearing. Listening carefully to her words, the spirit finally nods in understanding. He still wasn't totally sure how kings and queens worked, nor how parents worked, but he knew the general idea. That was better than nothing, right? "They have moved on.... it was nearly twelve years ago." the spirit frowned, wondering if maybe they should move away from this topic of conversation.

Mizuki looked at Pyry. "Yes, but I would hate to loose one of my brothers or sister. Or even my parents." She commented. The idea was unpleasant to the dancer. "No matter how many years I would still be sad for a while." She added. "Then again I never knew the notion of death in my life yet. I think it may be a fear of mind that I wish would never happen." She added. She looked at her boyfriend. She wouldn't want to lose him as well.

Show Me How To Lie....
Leading the way into the restaurant, the young teacher hoped this would suffice for dinner. It was a nice place, but certainly nothing that could be considered 'fancy'. Stopping just inside the door, he turned to look at Sky. "Will this be sufficient for tonight?" he asked, looking to his companion for approval or denial. Personally, Adney rather liked this restaurant; he came here often with Pyry, when the spirit wasn't busy with his son or wife.

Sky glanced at Adney. She gave the man a nod to answer his question about the restaurant. It would be a perfect place to eat out together. "It's fine. As look as it wasn't a fast food place." She answered him as she pointed towards a good booth. It was near a window and not too far away from the kitchen. It gave them a little privacy to talk with each other and get reacquainted with each other. She moved and sat down in the booth. It was clear that Adney was probably going to see in the seat across from her.

Show Me How To Lie....
Following behind Sky as she chose a booth, the redhead slid smoothly into the seat across from her. Removing his jacket, he draped it on the seat beside him. Turning to face his date now, the drama teacher smiles faintly. It was a pleasant expression, subtle though it was. Not knowing quite where to start with conversation, he racks his brain carefully for a 'safe' question. "So what do you do, exactly?" he asked, figuring this was a good place to start. He didn't quite know how a sandman worked, other than putting people to sleep. But that couldn't be all that they did, could it?

Sky looked at Adney. Her green eyes seemed to pierce into ones heart, yet she wasn't that thoughtful as her eyes made her out to be. "I work as a dream eater and a sandman. I make a person go to sleep by sneaking into there house and then eat their dreams if they are having a bad dream or something." She answered the man. It was the ability that her powers allowed her to have.

Show Me How To Lie....
Nodding when she had finished, the redhead pauses momentarily. This is what he thought she had said before; he had simply wanted to be sure he was right. "Do you enjoy your work?" he asked, moving to the next logical question. It sounded like interesting work, he supposed, but he couldn't say for sure whether or not it was enjoyable. Leaning back in the booth, he crosses his arms casually, a curious expression on his face.

Sky was happy that Adney still seemed interested in her after so long. It was a bit refreshing at the same time. It was the weight off her shoulders that they didn't have to be mad at each other and that the redhead was listening to her when they agreed that it was a start over on everything they had gone through. "It's not too bad. The work is easy but the hours are odd and long. I work four nights a week and have three days off, but during the winter the hours get longer." She answered. "What about your work. Getting any better?"

Show Me How To Lie....
A faint hint of amusement crossed his features at the mention of such odd work hours. He had worked plenty of odd hours in his life, but those were indeed quite strange. Easy work would certainly make it less stressful. As the question turned on him, a grimace flashed across his features. "It's not bad, I suppose. There are plenty of ups and downs, and it varies mostly with the students." the students this year weren't all that bad, but there was always at least one troublemaker; that one kid that somehow got under your skin no matter what he did.
