"Of course." He didn't mention that he'd stay up weeks if just to be near her, fearing that'd be creepy, so instead he nodded and stretched his wings. He was fearing that twitch in his chest, that desire to crawl closer to her and snuggle into her warmth. He couldn't do this again, who knew, maybe she didn't even like him back?
Carefully, he left the den and cracked his neck, smirking back at Cloud. "Where are we going, Strawberry?" He asked, nudging her cheek gently with his nose. He'd go to the end of the earth with her if he had to.
.....
No, he couldn't. He was just Prelude, a 'Phim that never found someone to make him happy.

She smiled at him and slipped out of the cave, stretching once more to make sure all the kinks were out of her wings. "You'll find out when we get there." She gave him a nuzzle to his neck and cheek and kicked up into the air. She spread her wings and waited for cloud to join her.
She the soared higher, closer to the peak of the mountains, then dove into the center of them, then she found her cave and slipped inside. "This is it... Well... Part of it." She smiled at Prelude.

When she took off he spread his wings and dove off to join her, sighing softly as the wind brushed past him. Ah, he loved flying, he really did. Ever since he had learned how he rarely was on the ground. Well, Cloud made him more grounded then usual, but that was...different.
When she slipped into a cave he followed her, landing on all fours. His eyes needed to adjust before he could see, and as he waited he folded his wings back into his sides. Where were they?

"Here. Hold onto my tail." She playfully swished her tail buy his face so he could bite onto, or do as he pleased. She went deeper into the cave, passing the corridors that branched off and had glowing at the ends of them. "I haven't looked down there yet." She looked back and smiled. "Maybe one night I'll look." She kept going and found the spot she wanted to be.
She grabbed a blanket and laid it out. "Lay there. On your back." She sat and waited for him. "Get comfy too. We.. might be here for a while." She gave him another sheepish smile. She knew her cheeks were red, and she had a bad case of butterflies. She just wanted this night to go right.

As her tail flicked he lightly used his mouth to grab it, letting her lead him into the cave. As she spoke he smiled lightly, nodding. "I can explore with you, if you like." As she settled down and threw down a blanket he moved to lay on his back, though she was sitting. That wasn't good enough.
Gently, he used his wing to pull her down onto her back, too, letting the smaller vixen move to adjust herself if she wished. Now, he glanced at the ceiling, waiting for what Cloud Chaser had brought him here for.

Before Prelude could completely pull her down she curled her tail around a piece of rope. She snuggled close to him. Then slowly pulled to rope, which opened up a giant hole in the caves roof. She looked out at the sky. She spoke softly. "I come here a lot... To think, or just relax." She blushed and looked over at Prelude.
She watched his face and his eye. She wondered what he was thinking. Was he thinking about her? Or maybe Daciana. Maybe he was just looking out into the endless night sky. Her heart thumped in her chest and her checks flushed. So far things were going well. But tonight... She was on a mission.

He spotted her glancing at him, though was distracted by the sky full of stars. Was this what she wanted to see? It was relaxing, sitting in a cave and watching the stars as life went on quietly. He could see why this was relaxing to her, he found himself losing all his worries as he stared at the stars.
Sometimes he did wish he could just live in the stars, like Cloud had. It would be quieter and calmer, though.... Did he want to live in a place he could not see Cloud, ever? No, he didn't.

"Didn't I tell you it was better?" Her checks were still flushed as she watched Prelude more than the stars. She smiled, she felt like she was shaking, but she wasn't. 'Prelude, I love you.' If only it were that easy! She looked down at her bracelet, her gut knotted up and she swallowed hard. "Hey, .... Prelude?"
Her eye didn't leave the male's face. "I just wanted to say... I've really... really enjoyed these past couple of days with you... Really." Cloud wanted to say it, but she was struggling. Her heart and logic were at it again. But... what good would Cloud be if she didn't even follow her own heart? "But.. What I really want to say is that..." Her stomach clenched more, and her throat tighter then ever. "I... have fallen for you." She stuttered slightly. "N-not like fallen down... but... you know." She took a deep breathe. "I-in... L-love... " Then everything was still to her.

"Hm?" His name being spoken surprised the 'Phim, head turning to look at the female, head tilting. A smile rose on his face when she said she enjoyed her time with him. Well, he enjoyed himself with her, too! Then she spoke further.
The green eyed male paled, sitting up. She what? As she spoke his mind ran through each thought, she couldn't mean... then she said it. His eyes widened, heart skipping a beat. She... loved him? What could he say? He knew how he felt , though could he risk it? Could he risk letting yet another woman love him, and then forget him? Could he risk just losing that feeling of being loved again?
He didn't want to be hurt again, but he didn't want to be alone. He didn't want to. If he had only a few years of happiness... it'd be better then none. And he wanted those years with Cloud.
His paw reached out, brushing back a strand of Cloud's hair. "Do you?" He asked gently, lifting the paw with the bracelet on it and kissing it, eyes looking up as the paw stayed near his mouth. "I have fallen for you, too."

She lurched forward a bit, then time moved fast. Prelude was in front of her. With his beautiful green eyes. She nodded at him. "I do.. Very much." She pulled his paw closer and placed it on her chest over her racing heart. "I took my own advice and followed my heart... It lead me to you." She smiled at him. She pushed back the thoughts in her head. She refused to let them ruin this moment.
"Will you stay with me... Forever." She leaned closer to him. Resting her forehead on his. Just gazing into his eyes. She still held their paws close to her heart, which was still racing, but... in a calm way. "Because... I can't imagine being without your warmness and kindness... I'd miss your smile." She closed her eyes, which were starting to well up.

His smile widened as he nudged her cheek with his nose, pulling her closer by wrapping his wings around her. "Where else could I go? No matter how far I went I would want to return to you. No matter where I went I would have one missing piece." Carefully, he lifted his head to smile at her.
"I will follow you across the world, Cloud. As long as you'll have me." His paw touched her cheek once more, bringing her closer into a kiss. When he pulled away his paw held hers, touching his nose against hers.
Strawberry, Cloud, Star, she was his. He would keep her heart happy as long as she was his~

After the kiss everything was right between her and the world, she briefly looked up and saw a shooting star. She would normal make a wish, but... She already had what she really wanted. She nuzzled her head into his chest and enjoyed everything about him.
She laid back and pulled him with her, going back to the stars, she held onto his paw and laid as close to him as possible. "I love you..." She sighed happily.

He wrapped his wing around her, resting his head on her shoulder. So, about their living arrangements.... If they were mates now he'd want to protect her everyday~ "So about our dens." He said, paw resting on hers, glancing back up at the stars.
"I say we make ours connect, or find a new one together." He commented, tail wrapping around hers softly.

Cloud nodded. " I wouldn't mind connecting our dens." She didn't know how. But.. What if... She looked over at Prelude. "What if... we moved into here? Its really big and we can always see the stars." She smiled, she thought her idea was a good one. It wouldn't be hard moving their stuff either. It also was hidden, and they can have a lot of privacy.... and when they had kits, they would be well protected. Cloud's cheeks flushed, she knew Prelude wanted kits, and so did she.

A small smile twitched on his lips. Move into this wonderful cave where they could few the sky whenever they wished? Yes. He would love that. Taking her paw into his and kissing it, he smiled sweetly up at her.
"Then we shall live here. Though I will need to get that wonderful pillow you gave me soon." He said. He'd never let go of that gift she had given him, it was something he cherished, even if he had only had it for a day.
