My friend has an 'L' background, too.

Prepare to be blown away by my diversity-My favorite male character is Matt, but I especially like Near, Matsuda, L, and Mello. Just not as much. Raito is sort of on-and-off for me. xD

My favorite female character is Sayu u___u I'm the only person in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE that think she and Matt make a cute pair. I adore Misa, and I deteste Takada. Arrogance doesn't sit well with me. Weddie did nothing to me at all, I didn't care even slightly about her.

Sayu and MATT? Huh?!

I'm not sure if I posted before, but I'd have to say that my favorite characters are L ('Cause he's a badass), Matsuda ('Cause he's so stupid it's funny), and Loud ('Cause he seems like the most normal and sane person in a manga full of crazies)

u__u We-ell, Sayuchan and Mattokun are around the same age, though Matt might be a year older. /__ They had no contact whatsoever throughout the entire series, but that's okay because I'm odd. ^-^ I also like L/Misa, too, I'm weird like that and probably shouldn't be saying this...Hmm...Is there even a pairing thread in this guild...?

It was Light but then..In the end he changed so I liked him a lot but not as much and I favored Ruyuk more.

I really really love Light for some reason, even when he's evil and crazy. twisted I just love that character.

My favorite character depends on stuff most of the time but Death note is easier for me.

My favorite good guy shall always be L. Near just seems like a copy of him that's cuter and looks like a doll. sweatdrop

My favorite bad guy shall always be Raito though another person who got a death note in the extras is sweet. The guy even got a eraser that brought people back to life if you erased their name with it. my second favorite if extras don't count though is Ryuuk. Also, I absolutely hate Mello because he has a lack of morals, at least Raito has morals.

My favorite girl character is Saya, Raito's sister because I simply cannot like Misa when she can't see what's right in front of her face. This is followed by Ren.
