"Well I do know how to swim...so I suppose that I can cross oceans as well." Ahmes smiled at his mate, wrapping a leg around her when she ventured back from the cave entrance. "You don't have to worry about anything getting us. I am a very light sleeper. If anything comes in the cave it will wake me up, and I shall protect you." He grinned as he nuzzled her with his nose. "You worry far too much my love."

Arundhati rolled her eyes at him and pawed his face gently. "You can't cross an ocean no matter how well you swim unless your a fish. You'd get to tired and drowned you dork. Besides I wouldn't make you cross the ocean. I'll just shove you in it," she smiled and remembered the day they first meet. It was fun to watch him try and catch a fish. "I'm a light sleeper to but that is in hopes to discourage anything from wanting to make this place their place if a storm happens to brew out side and worrying keeps you alive dont you know?"

"Well if you asked me to cross the ocean I would certainly try." Ahmes leaned into her with a smile on his face, "But you are right. it is better to be safe then sorry I always say." He nuzzled into his mate contently. "I never dreamed that I could be this happy." The male smiled as he inhaled his mate's scent.
"I don't deserve you Hati....but I'm glad that you chose me."

She shook her head at him. "No I wouldn't ask that of you. If I did I might lose a mate and have to raise the kids on my own." she pointed out to him stretching ever so slightly her claws scraping against the snow and ice.

Ahmes looked at her and smiled, "I don't know....your so beautiful....and strong....funny." He chuckled, "Because I know that you could have had any male you set your eyes on but I was the lucky son of a b***h that you chose." He licked her cheek, "You have no idea what kind of honor it is knowing that you chose me." He leaned into her smiling.

Arundhati laid there listening to him list of his points of why he thought what he thought while she had her eyes closed enjoying the warmth that they were creating. She couldn't help but chuckle at one of his comments. "Don't you mean what a poor son of a b***h you are because of the hell I'll put you threw?" she asked her tone was a joking manner.

He chuckled, "You did put me through hell love....But i enjoyed every minute of it. It isn't worth winning unless you have to fight for it. That is how I feel." He licked her cheek, "But really i mean it Hati...I'm the luckiest male in the world. You chose me out of anyone else...You have no idea how much that means to me." He grinned and hugged her body closer to him, cherishing every moment that she spent in his paws.

Arundhati rolled her eyes at him even though she had a smile on her face at his comment. She gently pawed at his face, "If you say so Ahmes, still think your crazy."she told him while yawning,"I think its time for us to sleep and later we'll talk about more kids?" she asked while arching an eyebrow before cuddling closer. She didn't really need to thanks to her fur but it was still a nice and comforting thing to do.

"Yes love...." Ahmes pulled her closer to him with his paws, snuggling against her stomach. "Sleep sounds very heavenly right now." He mumbled against her fur as he closed his eyes. He didn't know why his luck was so good, how he had managed to nab her? All he knew was that he was luck, and now he was never going to let her go. Hati was his mate forever, and nothing would ever be able to change that. Smiling, he quickly fell asleep snuggled against her.

"Good,"Arundhati murmured as she laid her head on him listening to his breathing change as he drifted off to dreamland. She could hear his heart pounding away. She couldn't help but smile for the first time in her life she was truly happy.

Several hours later, Ahmes woke up snuggled with his mate. He smiled down at her sleeping form and leaned in, nuzzling her neck lovingly. He enjoyed watching her sleep. She was so adorable, so angelic while she slept that he couldn't help himself. he looked toward the entrance of the cave and noted that it was still secure. He didn't want anything to happen to his lovely mate. He couldn't live without her.

Arundhati shifted and grumbled in her sleep as she felt the warm thing curled up against her move. It caused a frown to mark her face with displeasure of the movement. When things settled back the frown left as quick as it had appeared and she relaxed again.

A soft chuckled escaped his lips as he watched her. God he loved her more then anything in the world. Looking at the entrance he was satisfied that it was still closed, so he laid his head on his mate's back and closed his eyes. He knew that he wouldn't fall back asleep, but he could rest his eyes until she woke up. In the meantime he debated on what he wanted to do when she did decide to wake up.

Arundhati let out a soft sigh in her sleep when she felt pressure on her back. For some reason having that bit of pressure on her made her feel safe as she slept. It was a comforting presences. She stretched and laid her paw on him and continued to sleep.

A warmth spread through out his body as he watched his mate. She trusted him completely to keep her safe and content, and that sense of loyalty was intoxicating. Honestly he wouldn't be able to express it in words what it meant to him. Leaning into his mate he pulled her closer.
"Hati....my angel..." He smiled and licked her cheek lovingly as he sighed contently.
