”Cruel. No.” He was looking in Asukas direction. Even though his eyes were closed. ”You say you love me. Yet you barely know anythin about me. Just as I barely know anything about me.” An eye open. ” If you want ro love me then so be it... But I cant garuntee it will last very long.” It wouldnt be because of him bot liking her, but the fact of the trouble he was in. He had to face that. What if he did become close to this girl, they would kill her too. He didnt want other to get hurt because of him.

Asuka stopped for a moment and turned."why be so pessimistic about it?A woman is in front of you asking you out and your just pushing her away? after all you did say I could ask you for anything.....well I wanna go out on a date with you....."she stated this with a calm yet upset tone to her voice. Sheturned her head in front of her and continued walking."Unless your not as good as I thought you were..."

Kaito sighed. The only reason he was pushing her away was because of the trouble he was in. ” Fine. But will you allow me to rest? Watching one heal is tiring.” He yawned. ” Take that time to decide what you would like to do... Or join me if it would please you.” He offered her a warms smile and a spot next ro him.

With a smile Asuka bound over to where Kaito lay."thank you" she whispered before curling up next to him.even if this was not to last asuka was at least happy with the comfort Kaito gave her. she didn't think about the pain or sadnss just the joy she felt at this moment. her tail curled over him trying to cover him a bit.

Kaito smiled. It was rather nice being with a girl who didn't try to jump on him as soon as his guard was down. He shifted and let her use him as a pillow. "No, Thank you." He was asleep in no time. He was tired, he felt he hasn't slept in days. Which was probably was true.

Asuka leaned back into Kaito. from his breath she could tell he had dallen asleep.not that she minded at all. He gave her comfort so she would do the same for him. as long as he would be around.
she soon drifted off and fell asleep.

*Mini Time Skip* Kaito woke up and blinked. He felt an unfamiliar wight on him. He wasn't used to waking up with someone still there. He laid his head back down, it was night time. They had slept through the day. He looked over at Asuka, if she wanted that date it will have to wait untill tomorrow... Unless she had other ideas.

Asuka woke with a yawn then looked at kaito with a gentle smile."looks like we woke up at the same time huh?" she joked with a mousey voice. before looking outside. "wow it got dark.... how long were we out?"

Kaito shrugged. "Not sure." He looked at Asuka. "When do you want the date. If tomorrow we can rest a bit more. If not I can think of somewhere to take you." The thing about night time in the desert was that: 1. It was cooler. 2. It was more dangerous. 3.It was dark as hell if the moon wasn't out.

Asuka shook her head " I don't care we could go now. maybe there's a spot where we can see the sunrise.or maybe there's some interesting things out in the daytime. whenever would be best." asuka didn't care for the time as long as she was with Kaito. her comfort zone.

"We can go know. I think I know of a spot. If you are ready to go give me a second." Kaito slipped into the darkest corner of his home and grabbed a small pouch. Then slid back over to Asuka. "So you want to see a sunrise, eh? I can pull that off for you." He even had something for her to do in the mean time.

Asika stamped happily." alright then! oh thank you its always been hard to wake up for it. so now that I'm awake at night it'll be easier" Asuka was always asleep now so it felt odd to be awake now. "so where are we gonna go to see it?"

"There is a plateau near here. There is a system of caves that lead to the top. That's where we are going." He gestured her to the exit hole and followed her our, then took the lead. He made sure he didn't lose the pouch on the way. He had it for a long time. Waiting to give it to someone... special. Maybe Asuka was the one. He found the spot he wanted. "I want to show you something first." He made a fire from some flint. He looked over at Asuka. "Close your eyes." He waited, then dumped out a bit of the contents from the pouch. It was large colorful shards of glass, collected from many years of drinking with Sayre. He adjusted the pieces until they casted a beautiful image on the wall. "Ok, you can open them."

Asuka did as she was told, and when she opened her eyes she saw the design on the wall and stared in awe."Oh my that is beautiful....."she looked down and saw the pieces of glass on the floor. "your really an artist huh?" she smiled."Nobody I ever met could do that...."
