She had taken a few steps down the path but, seeing that Christof was following the ghoul slowed her pace so that he would be able to catch up. She didn't know whether to be anxious that he was accompanying her, or grateful that he was being such a gentleman.
Smiling slightly, she gestured backwards towards what the patchwork had of his motorcycle. "I...um...you should let me know of your progress now and then. U-uh, on Groanspring. If you'd like." The last part was added very hastily. She wasn't sure if it was worse to walk in silence, or to make awkward conversation.
Once she got back to her dorm...well, Xiu wasn't sure what she wanted to do exactly. She kind of just wanted to curl up alone for a while and figure out what in Jack's name had just happened in that dream, but at the same time, she kind of wanted to talk to someone about it. It just felt like that the traumatizing dream would haunt her unless she shared it with someone.

He nodded to her suggestion, hoping she saw it, but gave a quiet grunt of agreement even if she hadn't. Christof had no problem with walking in silence, nor with being a good listener in any case.
He didn't follow her all the way back, at least. Pausing as they reached the area where the path devised, one heading to the front of the Undead Dorms, and the other stretching away to the others, his mouth twitched into an unsure smile. Uneven hands fidgeted with the handle of his shovel laying over his hunch before he gave her a polite bow. Leave well enough alone. If she really was the Ghoul of his Dreams, he would have to play this carefully.

Xiu had automatically paused when they reached the fork, looking over to Christof to see what he would do. When she realized that he intended to part ways here, the Baku quickly turned to face him so that she could return the bow with one of her own, her hands pressed against the top of her thighs. "T...thank you for showing me the way back. I...I'll see you later?"
She smiled, giving a little wave--which was really more like a quick flutter of her fingers--before she stepped onto the path that would take her back to the demon dorms.
If there was one thing she learned today, it was that she was definitely not going to go into any more strangers' dreams without their permission.
