If anyone said something about persistence being key, it sure wasn't coming through.....yet. At least that was the case for Edel, the bats on the other hand, held up pretty well. She was a little more wary now, having been bitten once, but her slightly more conservative approach didn't seem to be helping. The ghoul had been struggling with the bats for the past hour but all she got was a flurry of wing-slapping against her hands and on a rare occasion, her mouth. She withdrew her hands from the swarm of bats for a short reprieve. Edel stared at the bats and they stared back (it wasn't certain they could see very well though). Perhaps she should ask nicely.

Attempting once more to wade through the swarm of bats, the Floresctival guest finds herself mobbed by them. Shielding her head, she tries her best to shoo them away as she makes a mad dash for the exit. Once outside, the bats return to guarding their precious horde of seeds.

Upon entering this gym, first Cain looked for tables. Seeing none that looked threatening, he then looked around warily for fish. Seeing neither of these things, he relaxed slightly, and looked around with a curious frown. Hmmm, what an interesting place-- Oh, what's this now? A pile of bats?
He was of course, more interested in what they were guarding. "What've you got there, now?" He said idly, reaching towards the pile of bats. One bit at his hand. "Ow! I'm just looking!" He fumed a little, shoving his hand past the biting bat towards the seeds they seemed to be guarding.
Before he could find any means of grasping the seeds, though, his hand was attacked, scratched, and bitten. With a pained yelp, he withdrew his hand, sucking on one of the bites on his palm. "Alright, alright." He grumbled a little at the bats, stepping back warily. The seeds weren't worth losing a hand, Jack damn it.

After venting her rage (rather unsuccessfully), she decides to visit Batty's Gym and see if the bats will let her see their precious horde. They don't; instead, they mob her head once more and she swats furiously at them, making for the exit. "Fine, keep your damn stuff. Probably a pile of rancid insects." she muttered irritably while leaving the gym, the swarm returning to once more guard their pile of seeds.
