A few paces away, a pair of eyes gleamed from under the table. Edel turned around to see what it was, to find a tiny fairy-like creature that emerged to greet her with a charming smile. So charming indeed, the ghoul barely noticed that the gentle-looking creature had launched an assault on her. Luckily for her, the aurora borealis was there to take the damage.  An unfriendly snarl appeared on Mira's face and the minipet retaliated by dashing up to the fairy and head-butting it. In the face. But it looks it it did more damage to herself than the fairy. ((Aurora : 4 hp Korobokkuru: 2 hp))

The aurora borealis shook herself off after the dizzying collision, letting out a yelp at the fairy who smiled charmingly (and triumphantly) back at her. She charged at it again, and the two minipets got into a scuffle that resulted in -
A double KO.
On the sidelines was the frost demon who watched the fight a little too serenely for one whose minipet had taken the blow and got into a fight. Edel was touched, really, but to watch the two duke it out was more amusing than heart-wrenching. Bending down, she picked up the fainted minipet and petted it gently.

Things just wouldn't stop rolling on and getting stranger and stranger. During a trip back to the dorms it seemed someone decided to blow up half the festival and in it's place a new arena of mini pet fights had cropped up. Still, it was the perfect thing for Sammy and Ixxy to explore. The scareon yipped curiously on her shoulder as they entered the first gym they spotted.
Desu-Chan's.
Not really a bad thing, Sammy enjoyed flipping tables, crashing through things, and generally causing chaos when fighting. So what better gym to start at then one that involve flipped tables?
Strolling through the chaos of tables, Ixxy would leap from Sammy's shoulder poking her nose at a charm half buried under a large pile of tables. "What is it girl? You found something?"
Wandering over Sammy crouched down to give the tables a good flipping...
Only to find broken charms scattered below it. Nothing special really. Though Ixxy grabbed one broken charm to happily tote around in her mouth. "Your odd Ixxy, really, a broken charm? You should just stick to your Riley plush."
The only response of course was a delighted little yip.

Attica started to get frighted, Maybe I should take him out before he hurts himself. She was just about to tell Desu that she didn't want no part in this animal cruelity when Desu's pet fell on the floor knocked out. "I won?"

It had been long enough that Dancer was all healed up again, so Aksaja wandered on back by Desu-chan's booth to challenge her to another battle. He'd also done a bit of training with the little Reigndeer, so maybe things would go better this time around!
"All right, here we go!"

Then, the little fairy-like minipet spun around and started bapping at Dancer's face with its wings. Which apparently hurt, because the Reigndeer reared back in surprise and hurt.
"Hit back!" Aksaja called, and the minipet responded by striking hard at Korobokkuru with his hooves . . . completely knocking it out. "Next?"

Aksaja was hopeful that maybe this time Desutan wouldn't be so hard to beat. But in the very first attack, the opponent hit Dancer hard enough to knock him onto his side with a pained sound.
Damn. "Sorry . . . we'll try again later."

In all actuality, it wasn't Kallos that wanted to come re-challenge Desu's minipets. It was his corgi pup. The little creature was fuming about it's own defeat at the hands of the ohdeer, and had been inching to go back and fight it since the ghost dog's defeat eariler.
Kallos finally permitted it, once he was sure the pup had healed up enough to be able to fight again. The pup had practically dragged Kallos back.
Now, the pup was looking for a rematch.
The pup growled as the blue fae-like minipet came forth once more. The corgi launched itself at it's icy opponent, and after a few moments of intense fighting, the fae fell, KO'd. Unfortunately, the victory over the icy fairy came at a price, and the ghost corgi had lost nearly half of it's fighting strength in the process.

As the match continued, the small, extremely terrifying Desutan came forward. The pup gave a snarl, lowering itself into a fighting stance. As the Desutan paused for a moment (she had been in the middle of texting Ragetan, after all!) to look over at the ghostly corgi, the pup leaped at her, fangs bared.
Before it could land it's attack though, the Desutan flipped at table into it.
Literally, the table smashed into corgi, pushing the canine back to the ground and almost knocked out the pup. With it's strength fleeting, the corgi launched a surprise attack on the Desutan.
The corgi did enough damage to the other minipet to practically knock it out twice. As the Desutan fainted, the corgi gave a weary howl and waited for it's true enemy to come forth.
The ohdeer was next.

As the little baby ohdeer came forward, Kallos' pup snarled. It's fur stood on end and it's rage was barely contained. Here was the creature who had beaten it last time! As the baby deer began to use it's adorable charms once more, the ghostly corgi stepped forward into a battling stance.
He wouldn't fall for the same trick twice, after all.
As the deer realized their cuteness tactics weren't affecting the pup this time, the real battler in the deer came out.
Both minipets launched themselves at eachother, locking into combat. Kallos watched hesitantly, hoping that the ghost corgi wouldn't get himself too hurt.
After several moments of intense battling, the minipets broke off, both stumbling and listing. The pup gave a howl as the ohdeer collapsed over, and then followed suit, plopping down into a flop of ghost canine.
It seemed the battle was a tie.
Kallos waited until he was sure neither pet was going to get back up, then moved over to his corgi and picked the little ghostly dog up. "Y-you did your best, l-little one..." He said, stroking it on the head as he stood. He looked to Desu and her minipets and gave them a respectful nod to acknowledge their strength, and then slipped away so that his corgi could heal.

Attica looked down at ther new pet. "Ok lets do this again since I didn't read all the rules. Like the dummy I am. Are you ready little fellow?"
Attica didn't have to tell her mini twice he jumped into the ring ready to fight any challangers that come this way.

Attica cheered on her mini from the sideline.
"Way to go. You only have one more opponet after this one."
Her mini kept doing headbutts after headbutts.
"Don't you know anyother moves?" Her mini looked over it shoulder at her and then started to kick the other opponet with its hoolves. "Maybe you need to train and learn some moves."

xdeathxbyxlovex mine: 5- desu 3- I hope I got it right this time. After one more headbutt desu's minipets were all knocked out. Attica grabbed her newly found minipet and spun her around. "You did it you did it." "I guess I'm gonna have to train you and hopefully you'll learn more moves than that ol headbutt thing you do. Attica was so overjoyed. This win meant everything to her. If she collects all these strange bades from the booths then maybe she could find a way into that school. mine: 5-3=2 desu: 3-6= forgot to roll.
