"How does one atone for their sins? Well, the answer is simple... They don't."

"I know faith is difficult... I still don't have it... But you must." Vicnent watched as Xander took his leave from the area, off to his own trial. Vincent waved at him as he left. "Soon, perhaps things'll be easier!" He turned back to Rikkaetheon, and listened to the man's words. They comforted him. "I'd like that. Thanks... And yeah, let's go." Vincent went to stand in the middle of the rubble, looking around. He hadn't the slightest clue of how they were to begin, as he was more used to destroying that which is precious, rather than fixing it...

To start rebuilding the hospital, first the rubble would need to be cleared out. With the aid of a few random townsfolk they began moving the rubble out of the way. While doing so they found a few survivors, and many bodies. [1/10]
Rikkaetheon instructed them to lay the bodies out to the side, he would bury them after tending to the wounded. He had them set up a tent for the wounded, where he and a few others tended to them. Once they were stable, he began to tend to the dead. [2/10]
Rikkaetheon had the dead transported a distance away. There was no official cemetery, so he began working on one. Faded Light seemed like a good name, fit with the scenario too. He began to pray for the dead, while others assisted him with digging the holes, identifying, and building tombstones. These fallen souls would not be forgotten. [3/10]
Cleaning his hands off he went back to the hospital and continued assisting with the clearing of the rubble. He occasionally had to go pray for another body, or tend to another survivor. Soon it was clear and all those inside taken care of, one way or another. [4/10]
Rikkaetheon then said a prayer. This one, to ward of any evil spirits that lingered, and to bless the creation of the new hospital. He prayed that this one be protected by the light, from any attackers. Hopefully this would work. [5/10]

"How does one atone for their sins? Well, the answer is simple... They don't."

Rikkaetheon had begun on his own work of tending to the wounded, and burying the dead. Vincent was still trying to figure things out for the hospital when townsfolk appeared and began to move the rubble. Vincent looked to the few that helped, and raised his voice just enough for them to hear. "Keep the larger stones. They can be used..." Vincent began to collect usable stones as well, while clearing away rubble. (1/10)
As the rubble was being cleared away more and more, larger and more usuable rocks were being found. Though they would not be able to build as large a hospital that there was before, they could still build a fine enough building. Vincent and two other of the helpers stood together, discussing where they would start. "Let's begin with foundation." One of the helpers gathered the stronger men together, as most of the large rubble had been cleared and sorted already. (2/10)
Vincent and the otehrs set to work at building the foundation up, setting rocks around in a large rectangle. Vincent could already tell it would be much smaller, but this is what they would have to deal with, as a building at all was better than none. As the foundation was set, Vincent began to weave his web amongst the stoens, filling the gaps with the stickiest web he could, and sealing the web in with harder web, making it so the stones would stick, and not shift. This was already beginning to drain Vincent's power, and he knew this would be a very long process. (3/10)
As the foundation was finished, Vincent started the otehrs to begin building up the walls. As they did so, he went around, filling gaps as the helpers held the stones, and sealing them over with hard web after. This was a hard process, and demanded much concentration on Vincent's part. Putting in the window spaces proved especially difficult, as the holes in the wall allowed for structure flaws, and the edges needed extra strengthening. (4/10)
Hours passed, and the first floors walls had not been finished as of yet. Vincent and the helpers were quite exhausted, so they took a rest off by the tents that Rikkaetheon had set up. Sharing food, and talking amongst eachother helped to bolster spirits, and within an hour and a half, everyone was back at work, building up the wall, Vincent walking around holding it together. (5/10)
As the first floors walls were finally finished, one of the hardest parts began. The ceiling... Helpers gathered up what ladders they could get, and set to start up the wall. The process was very slow, and drained much energy, as stones had to be carried up ladders to the appropriate level. At regular intervals, support pillars also had to be placed, and sealed with even more web, as they were going to be holding up much weight. (6/10)
By the time the ceiling was finished, it was again time for a break. Gathering at the tents again, everyone either slept, or talked amongst eachotehr. One man came to Vincent, and thakned him for the hard work. Vincent was confused by this, as it was only his mission to be building up the hospital... Why should he be thanked? Would the man have still thanked him if he knew what Vincent's past was like? Shaking his head, Vincent put the thought out of his mind. Night was coming soon, and much still had to be done. (7/10)
The second floor proved to drain more energy than the first, as it took much energy to transport stones from the first to the second. As this was being done, Vincent and some otehr helpers remained on the first floor, putting in walls for the rooms, as well as making sure it was all structurally sound. Once they were done this, the work on the second floor began. (8/10)
The second floor seemed to go along much faster, as everyone was already used to the work after putting together the first floor and ceiling. Things were going pretty smoothly, and well, until it came to the roof. This was going to be much harder than the first ceiling, as Vincent was quite tired by this time, and his web making was drying out. Yet, he knew after watching everyone else do their best without giving up, he also could not give up. As everyone set to work, the roof proved to move smoothly, as well as the supports, with Vincent having little trouble to keep up. Other's encouragements helped as well. As tehy finished the roof, the sun was setting. Everyone took a small break, talking once again. This time, more people thanked Vincent. Was this going to happen often? (9/10)
Vincent sent some helpers off, to search for doors and windows, or anything such as that. While they did that, the remaining helpers and him worked on setting up the second floors walls as they were finishing up, the others returned with a good amount of both doors and windows, ahving received much help from others. Such a surprising thing to happen, but welcome nontheless. The doors and windows went in with ease, and finally, the building seemed to be finished... (10/10)

Vincent, having drained all his energy, went into the tents where Rikkaetheon was tending to otehrs, and collapsed on the floor, exhausted from the days work. He as empty, or at least close to it.

((Hope this is good~))

Rikkaetheon began directed the finishing touches. So close to being done. They put up some wallpaper, put down some carpeting, and painted some areas. Just because it was a hospital doesn't mean it had to be gloomy. [6/10]
He asked around and managed to get some shops to donate furniture and equipment. With these donations he was able to start furnishing the rooms. The hospital would be good as new in no time. [7/10]
Setting up several different rooms with beds and equipment seemed tougher than it should have. Still it was important work. These people needed this hospital. They would finish it for them. [8/10]
Some last minute electrical work was needed. Luckily someone with some mechanist training offered a hand. It was done in no time, and the lights and equipment now had electricity. [9/10]
The final touches included pluming, and other works like that. Rikkaetheon's final task was to set up the front office. Which he arranged to make people feel safe and welcome when they arrived. Once it was finished he gathered everyone in the front of the hospital and spoke. "Thank you all for your help with this. We are glad to give you back your hospital. Light protect you." He couldn't help but smiling. It felt great to do a good deed. [10/10]

"How does one atone for their sins? Well, the answer is simple... They don't."

Vincent had rested as Rikkaetheon put the finishing touches on the hospital, doing all the inside work. He was extremely tired and exhausted from the work he had done before, and used as much time as he could to sleep. He didn't dream, which was a good thing, as the last one he had nearly killed him.
Being shaken awake was not one of the things Vincent wanted to wake up to, but his eyes opened to a small child shaking his shoulder. She told him that the hospital was finished, and the helpers wanted to thank them. Vicnent left the tents, and ventured to the hospital, where lights were on, furniture was abundant, and many people were gathered. As Rikkaetheon said his words, everybody present was smiling. Once he was finished, they all thanked the two men for their help, and efforts. Vincent went and stood beside Rikkaetheon, and patted his shoulder. "Perhaps it's time to go." Vincent nodded to the people, smiled briefly, and left the building. He went and sat down by the tents, ready to leave when Rikkaetheon was.

((Sorry, off to bed for now. I'll post again later tonight~ If you choose, you can take us to Osiris! ^_^))

Vincent and Rikkaetheon had been here much too long, and he knew that time was of the essence in this world. Deciding it was time to move, Vincent went to Rikkaetheon, and took his arm. "To Osiris." Leaving proved to be slightly difficult, as many offered their thanks along the way, and suggested they stay, but now was not the time for such idleness. Vincent and Rikkaetheon pressed on, and headed towards tehir next destination. Osiris.
