As her glorious stare smelled the flowers Emi could imagine her laying in a bed of them looking up at her as Emi … Blinking Emi managed to dislodge herself from the daydream as Rael walked up to Emi and licked her. A blush crossed her face and decided to settle down and make its home there. “I don’t know about clever but I’m glad you like them my star.” She nudged Rael softly glad to be of help to her mate.

"You are very clever my love. You do not give yourself enough credit though." Rael kissed her softly, "You are the most brilliant vixen I have ever met. And the most beautiful by far." She nuzzled against her, "And my sister is going to be so jealous of my good fortune that she will be green with envy."

As the tip of Rael’s pink muzzle touched Emi the blue phim felt a shiver rush through her and she felt a bit light-headed. Bathing in the compliments her mate showered on her Emi wondered if Rael’s sister would really be jealous. “You know if your sister has coloring like your then she’ll have green fur already my glorious star.” Emi tapped the crescent moon marking on Rael’s left shoulder, and then caressed the green mark under Rael’s eye. “And what a lovely shad it is too.” With that she gave her mate a deep kiss to rival the passionate ones she always received.

"Mmm...." Rael relished the affectionate showered on her by her mate. It was so rare that her mate took the initiative to be affectionate, so Rael liked to take full opportunity of it whenever she could. Reluctantly she pulled back and smiled dreamily at Emi, "That was... indescribable love." Rael leaned in and nuzzled against her mate, "But my sister doesn't have my green markings...I was the only one to inherit them." She smiled as she curled her wings around her mate and pulled her closer to her.

Blushing Emi nodded. She felt so bold and brazen with what she just did. She leaned into Rael as the colorful phim nuzzled her. She was still feeling light headed and dizzy from kissing Rael. Even though she started it, it seemed that that breathless light feeling happened whenever they kissed. “oh I see.” Emi let herself be pulled into Rael. Her mate really was incredibly. “I’m sorry I thought your sister would be like you my glorious star.” Emi pressed her face into Rael’s chest and rubbed up and down. Rael’s fur was so soft.

"You have nothing to be sorry about love." Rael smiled as she leaned in and stole another kiss. "Come one...we had better get back to the den with these flowers then head off to meet my sister." She chuckled as she nuzzled her mate's neck. "Mmm...you smell so good..." She had to quickly pull away. "And far too tempting to be so near to me love."

She purred as Rael kissed her. “Yes. Ah yes of course.” Emi blushed and followed Rael at what she assumed would be a safe distance back so as not to distract Rael or allow Rael to distract her. It was very difficult since when Rael walked Emi had a hard time imagining any vixen having a more graceful step or a more firm and supple hind leg… She shook her head. Rael was simply distracting. On the bright side it doesn’t matter how her sister views me as long as Rael will help me forget if it’s bad…

Rael chuckled as she looked over her shoulder and smiled at her mate. "What are you doing love?" She laughed as she walked back into their den with the flowers. "We should leave soon." She looked up at the sky, "It's getting darker by the hour." She smiled, "It's going to be a long flight. Might as well get some of it out of the way now." She nuzzled her mate's neck.

“N-Nothing!” Emi pulled her mind out of her little day dream of her and Rael sharing more than just a good nap. “Yes of course.” Emi nodded to Rael’s reasoning. If they could leave now, well it would mean that they actually started off, something that Emi was certain wouldn’t happen unless they left soon. On top of which leaving meant a sooner reunion between Rael and her sister. Emi hoped things would go well for Rael. Her stomach was all a flutter with the trough of Rael smiling while meeting her family.

A week later
Rael looked over at her mate. After the week of travelling through the harsh conditions of the mountains, she was finally confident that they were close to the Starborn territory. Smiling she leaned over and licked her mate's cheek. "We are getting closer now love...not that much longer. My sister should be having someone patrol the area so we should be discovered soon. Then I hope that we can be taken to Kea."
Looking around, she noted that the ground had been disrupted recently. Which was good news for them being seen soon. Kea was walking through the frozen forest hoping that she might run into Ripari. Every once in awhile she would leave Krystal in charge of the tribe while she walked out into the wilderness to look for her friend...boy....boyfriend? She wasn't sure what they were, but she knew that she liked him, and she missed him very much. Blushing at her own thoughts she paused, ears twitching as she heard a noise to the left of her. "Mm?"

Nodding Emi smiled at her glorious star. “Yes I think we should have been noticed flying in by anyone as well.” She snuggled up next to Rael for warmth in the cold air of the mountains. She looked around for something to indicate a scout of anykind. She thought she saw some blue and pink tips moving around a few banks away. “Umm.. beloved?” She poked her mate and gestured off toward what she thought might be a fox. For all Emi knew it could be a mountain bird or something. “Is that a fox or am I mistaken?” She tilted her head trying to figure it out and her hair fell in front of her eyes so she pushed it back with a paw.

"Hm?" Rael looked over at her mate, relishing in the warmth embrace she was receiving. In fact she was a little caught off guard by her mate's voice that it took a minute before she realized that she had spoke to her. "Oh..."
Looking off into the trees she squinted her eyes, "You believe a fox is out there? Alright." The phim started walking in that direction. "Is anyone out there?" She called.
Kea was about to head back to the tribe, figuring that Ripari wasn't going to be coming that day when she heard the voice of a vixen. "Hm?" She tilted her head, "Yes." She called back, "Who is asking? Identify yourself."

Emi jumped in surprise even though she had been the one to suspect a fox in the first place. “um well..” her voice was quite and she knew it so she raised it. Even near yelling as she was trying her voice still came out as quiet and scared. “M-My name is Emi and I.. I mean my mate and me, um I. Well we um would like to see her sister if that’s alr-right.” Emi tucked up close to Real feeling scared of botching thing further. She groaned internally as whoever this scout was probably thought she was a fool. What would happen if Kea found out how hopeless Emi was. Would Real really be willing to declare Emi her mate and be proud of it? She should have just kept her mouth shut.

Rael smiled at her mate, wrapping a wing protectively around the meek vixen. "It's Rael...I've come to see my sister...could you come into the light so that we can have a conversation face to face? Please?"
"Rael?" Kea's heart hammered in her chest. Could it really be her baby sister? She hadn't seen her in such a long time she was afraid that she might just be hearing things, "Rael!" She ran, faster then she had ever before, bursting into the clearing then stopped dead. "You...You're really...here."
Eyes widening, Rael couldn't believe it. "Kea....Kea?" Her voice cracked slightly, "Big sister...." She smiled softly, "You look...you look really good."

Emi blinked Kea was so much smaller then Rael and yet she was the older sister. Rael seemed so choked up Emi used her position to shove Rael forward a bit. This way Rael and Kea would be able to chat rather than being across half a clearing from each other. She whispered quietly. “The flowers. Love the flowers.” She stepped back away from Rael so that Kea was mostly blocked from her sight by Rael’s body. She felt a bit cowardly but Emi was hidden from Kea this way and her mate could have some family time it seemed a win for all parties involved.
