"I heard one of his favored food chains uses meat less than dog food grade! But I do not expect less. Alfred has always had... Odd tastes. Oh well. I don't let it bother me."
Francis listened once more as Luz Maria spoke. She seemed saddened. He smiled gently and very quietly said, "Cendrillon ou La petite Pantoufle de Verre," and nothing else on the subject. Yeah, it was probably going to confuse Luz Maria, but what ever. It felt much nicer speaking his language than the shared language of England and America.
At the mention of Italian, Francis tilted his head in minor confusion before his face lit up with joy. "Oui~! Feliciano est un bon frère peu. Now, to answer your question. "Molto carino" means "very nice" in English."

 Consuela Luz Maria Rodriguez Sophomore / 10th grade Luz Maria rubbed the back of her head "Hah! I guess we can blame Arthur for that. Giving him all that crappy food. Plus, I heard he dropped Alfred on his head many times when he was chiquito, ese. Hehe." she was a bit surprised, Francis was more mature than she was lead to believe. At least, not like how he was the first time they met. She didn't really understood what he said in French (being the fact her nation refused to learn the language), so she just pretended it was something reassuring. As for the Italian translation "Oh... Was that all?" at first she sounded disappointred, but then she just smiled "I mean, that's fine. I was afraid the nino might've said something much more.... More.... Well, let's say the only time you'd hear a guy say that to me, is if they were really drunk." Of all the years he's been around men, no one really has called her beautiful before. She's gotten occasional flirts, but that's it. I'm not a bad person, I just have bad luck...

BxRxAxGxIxNxSxKxI Ivan had been working slightly from his sitting position. He decided to cook a little, and, one thing he could do from his seat was mix things... And he had the right stuff at this workspace to prepare some Pelmeni. In the time that passed in silence for him, he had finished making everything, and was beginning to make the small little rolls..... when he heard a rather detest-full sound approaching. Ivan turned to the Polish male/female and faked a smile.
"Hallo... Feliks." Ivan said, trying to not show just how annoyed he was by the Polish student's presence near him. You know those kinds of people, that just annoy you even if they don't say anything or do anything? Well, to Ivan, that was Feliks. Just that look on his face.... the way he dressed.... everything was just so annoying and made him want to punch something, or, specifically, him.
Another voice alerted Ivan to another girl's presence. This was one he had not been formerly acquainted with at all, though, she looked slightly familiar.... maybe they had classes together? Regardless of the annoyance Feliks was for him, Ivan smiled at her.
"Uh, Da. Spasiba." Ivan said, taking one of the small rice cakes on the plate. The looked really good.... though he was a little too annoyed to fully enjoy them. Ivan took a small bite of one and watched the girl.
"You may sit down if you vish. Vee do not bite." Ivan said, trying to be friendly, and kind of glad to have a way of not being all alone with Poland.

My Name is Chesa Nenette Chesa returned his smile as he took one, taking a rice cake for herself as she set the plate on the counter. "If anyone wants one, they're free for the taking." She offered before looking back at Ivan expectantly as he took a bite, absently noticing that he seemed a bit annoyed by the blond... male (?) sitting near him and Eduard, one she knew she'd never seen before. After all, he wasn't really that hard to miss with all the glitter... She snapped out of her thoughts by Ivan's offer, staring at him for a moment before nodding and sitting near him, taking a bit of her own rice cake. With another smile, one that was a bit shyer but still friendly, she held out her hand. "By the way, I'm Chesa. Chesa Nenette." He stood, still chuckling as he wiped a tear from his eye while nodding. "Oui. That has to be what is wrong with Alfred. Hell, he may have even inherited the stick that was shoved up Arthur's butt with how he's been acting lately. Oh well. Nothing to be done. Maybe Ludwig will hit him hard in the head with a foot- soccer ball one of these days and reverse the damage done by Arthur. The guy's got a hard kick, and he's scary as hell. Then again, what German isn't?" Hey, just because the Frenchman was beginning to become friends with Ludwig didn't mean the guy didn't still scare him from time to time. Sure, the German had a relatively large amount of patience, but that still didn't mean you wanted to make him mad.
At the news that Luz Maria hadn't been told she was pretty very often, Francis looked shocked and slightly disapproving. "Qu'est-ce? You are only told you are pretty when a man is drunk?! C'est un scandale! A young woman such as yourself should be haring compliments to a point where they don't really mean a thing to you any more! I know you are a rough-ouser, but that does not make you any less of a belle jeune femme. You should rally consider visiting Europe some time when you get the chance. Trust me, you will see a big difference in how people receive you." ******************************************************************************

Aren't most of the people there mostly big flirts? BxRxAxGxIxNxSxKxI Ivan Smiled at the girl as she sat down. yes, free for the taking... speaking of... Ivan finished wrapping his Pelmeni and started cooking them as the girl introduced herself.
"Ah? It is nice to meet you. Moi name is Ivan. Ivan Braginski." Ivan said, taking her hand and shaking it, smiling more warmly at her. He was happy that this period he was actually accomplishing some work and making some food. Maybe if he finished he could let Matvey have some~ The idea made the Russian just so happy.

François BonnefoyThe Senior that Needs No Introduction~! ****************************************************************************** Francis blinked slightly before he moved his hand to suppress a giggle. "An Italian saying you look nice just to be polite? Honhonhon. You are far too used to how it works in the Americas. If an Italian doesn't really like the way you look, you will know. They tend to just stand there with their hand in their pockets and say nothing if they do not really think you are beautiful. It is not the European way to fib about how you truly feel." He chuckled slightly before he remembered he had food that was cooking.
He walked over to the oven and opened the door just as the timer went off. He pulled out the pastries and looked them over carefully before grinning in approval. He sat the tray on the stove next to where he had a pot of chocolate he had left to melt. Carefully, he dipped in a small ladle and scooped some chocolate out of the pot to pour into the center of the pastries' little bowl-like center. Once he had some left over chocolate after making sure each pastry had their fair share of chocolate in the center, he drizzled some along the pastries for a decorative look, but did so so that it did not look messy, nor would be when someone went to get one. He still had some chocolate left, so he went to the fridge and grabbed an assortment of fruit and placed them neatly on a tray after washing them before carrying the tray of fruits and the bowl of chocolate fondue over to where Mexico was sitting.
"Alright, Luz Maria. A deal was a deal. I have some chocolate left from my pastries that you and I can share, so take as much of it as you want. Be careful, though. It is still very hot." He sat both the tray and pot down on a nearby desk before he pushed it over to her desk and took a seat. He needed to let the pastries cool off and to allow the chocolate on them to set, so he might as well have a nice little treat while he waited. He'd let her have her share of the chocolate before he offered it to anyone else since she was the one he had promised it to. ******************************************************************************

Consuela Luz Maria Rodriguez Sophomore / 10th grade A small gasp escaped the girl's lips and she blushed as she learned that Europeans don't lie when it comes to beauty "Ah! W-Well... Maybe he lost his glasses or something..." she covered her face to hide her embarrassment, she still found it hard to believe anyone would find her attractive. She's anything but. When the mention of chocolate was heard, that's when all emotions of embarassment disappeared. She looked at the chocolate with sparkles in her eyes "G-Gracias.... T-te amo..." Of course, she said that to the tasty treat "Heh... You know, I've never thought I'd be able to talk to my ex-enemy like this. Guess I might've slightly matured. It really was nice talking to you." I'm not a bad person, I just have bad luck...

The food we make here is way better than the stuff the serve in the cafeteria, ese." Luz Maria grab her bag "Oh well, there's always tomorrow." she turned to Francis "You know, today has been nice talking to you like this. And I didn't burst in anger, that's got to be a new record, mang. Well, I better get going, I have to talk to Arthur about something quick, cuz I have training in the gym during lunch. heh, if you ever feel like skipping again, be sure to come here, kay? Well, I gotta go. Adios, Francis." and with that, she rushes out the door and heads to the cafeteria. I'm not a bad person, I just have bad luck...

She jumped, having not really been paying attention. She ate the rest of her rice cake and dug through the drawers until she found a bag to put the leftovers in and quickly cleaned up before heading for the door. "See you later," she called over her shoulder before she was gone, following after Luz Maria. ******************************************************************************

Ivan sighed and but them in the fridge for work on the next day. Oh well~ id least now he could go visit his Matvey~ With a happy sigh Ivan darted from the room happily toward the cafeteria.
