"Ohh, let me be the first to welcome you to Amity then!" She beamed, taking the ghoul's hand and giving it a firm handshake; it wasn't her preferred way of greeting others due to most non-demons having misconceptions about demons and handshakes (her boilfriend, of all people, was a prime example of this) but she would oblige if others offered her their hand.
"Nice to meet you, Edel! I'm actually Elizabeth," She chuckled softly, offering the ghoul a sheepish smile as she released her hand, "But I prefer others to just call me Lizzy." Since she was so kind as to tell her her 'real' name, she thought that it was only fair to return the favor.
"Oh! Sure, I would be happy to!" Her face lit up as she grinned, "The student council is very much the group who acts as the go-between for the student body and the school faculty, bringing up any concerns the students might have regarding school-related issues. For example, if the students feel that the school food is too expensive, they could bring it up to the student council, and the student council would bring it up to the school faculty."
She paused, making sure that Edel was not lost before continuing, "They also organize events for the students - an example was the prom that was held just last month! Earlier in the year, they also organized a Scarentine's Party." Her smiled grew a little; it was obvious that she had fun in both events.
"Ah! BotB stands for Battle of the Bands, basically a contest between bands," She nodded, "I forgot that there might be those who are unfamiliar with the term... Thanks for the heads up!" She would have to edit that in later.

“Thank you, Lizzy,” Edel replied, returning the smile. So the ghoul's name was actually Elizabeth, but she should have already guessed. Lizzy was a commonly derived nickname from Elizabeth after all. The frost demon quietly considered the idea of simply introducing herself as Edel from now on. Lizzy did have a point, she too, preferred using her nickname .....which sounded a lot less poncey. She quickly shelved the thought for later as Lizzy began to explain the Student Council's functions in the Academy, taking in the information gratefully. Her eyes lit up at the mention of school activities, especially that of the Battle of the Bands (the other two were a little more predictable given the setting of a school, though Edel noticed that the other ghoul seemed to enjoy those very much too). Perhaps she might find a group as sensational as the Beetles right here in school!
“Ooh, I see. It does sound like a fair amount of work, but I'm sure you're one who'd enjoy the experience!” she grinned and paused slightly before continuing, this time with a compliment. “It's a very nice booth you have here Lizzy!” Her eyes swept across the table's contents, noticing the sweet treats at the side, but her attention was drawn to the plushies of the pink creature with a scarf. They were really well-done pieces of handiwork on top of being downright adorable; needless to say, Edel was soundly impressed. “D-Did you make these, may I ask?” she questioned enthusiastically, bending over for a closer look. She may or may not had spotted one of them moving – she wasn't sure. Maybe her eyes were playing tricks on her.

"You're very welcome!" She smiled, brushing her bangs aside, out of her eyes; this Edel ghoul seemed pleasant enough... She's been nothing but polite since the start of the conversation!
"I would!" She couldn't help but giggle, "I was part of the prom committee, and while we had to give up a lot of time to organize it, it was worth it! Prom was a huge success thanks to everyone's contributions~" At the compliment, she blushed slightly as her expression softened; she was pretty proud of her own booth, even if it wasn't as decorated as some of the others.
"Thank you!" It was obvious that she was happy about the compliment as she smiled, "And I did! They're based off my minipet..." Who was currently hiding... Somewhere, "I'm glad you like them! Please, do take one to keep!" She took one off the table and held it towards Edel with an encouraging nod.

Hm, that would explain things. She looked out to see if there actual minipet was nearby, but spotted nothing out of the ordinary. “Oh! Thank you.” Edel blushed a little as Lizzy handed her one of the plushies, which she graciously accepted. Holding the stuffed toy in her hands, she inspected the flawless needlework. “I must say, your handiwork is fantastic!” she added with a grin.
It seems that Lizzy was a a very pleasant ghoul, with a passion for what she does. Edel admired the way she spoke so enthusiastically about all those school events, which she had been actively involved in too. Whatever it was, she definitely had a good impression of the ghoul who was running for treasurer.
“Good luck for your campaign!” Edel reached out towards the table to pick up one of the pins. “If I may, I'll take one of these to show my support alright?” she asked meekly. “I'll drop by again soon.”
She would be off to visit the other campaign booths, perhaps she would drop by later again. But before that, Edel figured that Lizzy was one who was nice enough and would know what to do if asked. “Uhm, before I leave,” there was an awkward pause as Edel looked down at her dress covered in glitter from the Haunted House. She looked back up at Lizzy with half-amused, half-embarrassed eyes. “Would you know where I might get a change of clothes? I. Uh. Well-” she gestured at herself, stifling her laughter.

"Thank you!" She wasn't sure how many times they had thanked each other over various things, but she couldn't help feeling really happy (and proud) whenever her needlework was complimented; it was one of things she was actually good at, after all... Unlike cooking and baking. Those could use a lot more work and practice on her part.
When the ghoul took one of her pins, she grinned, "Sure! I really appreciate the support!" If her eyes could sparkle, they would right now. Looking at Edel's dress, she smiled sheepishly; what's with this festival and glitter anyway? First Riley's booth, and now, the students?
She shook her head apologetically, "Unfortunately, I don't... I haven't seen a booth selling- Ah! Riley's giving out shirts at her campaign booth - she's a tall, purple skinned demoness - but they're more for showing support... Uh, maybe you would like to drop by her booth?" She then paused, smiling sheepishly, "I wish that I were of more help... Do enjoy the festival though, regardless of the glitter! I'll see you around~"

Nodding and giving a little wave, Edel left Lizzy's both. Riley's booth huh? She had been to the purple demoness' booth before, but never really noticed the shirts (she had been staring at the canon cat plushies for most of it). She wasn't sure if a T shirt would do much – she didn't have a skirt or pants to go with it, but she made a mental note to herself to drop by the booth anyway.

Still having no luck, Calder moved on to the next booth. Lizzy seemed to have a nice design. Simply, lovely gloom gray with adorable plushies and snacks. Moving over, he smiled at the little minipet plush of the one creature who he once walked and lost. He poked one of the plushies once before returning to why he came, looking about for the owner or anyone else about the booth. "Hello?"

She might had been distracted with organizing the things under her table, but not enough to miss the greeting of... A rather familiar voice. Peeking out from under the table (and almost hitting her head on the edge again), Lizzy couldn't help but stare at the student standing at her booth. After a short pause, she tilted her head before frowning lightly, "... Calder?"
Oh wait, manners! She smiled, straightening up, "Hello!"

Calder stepped back when Lizzy popped up like a daisy and gave her hello. "Uh, Hi Lizzy." He said, raising a hand and noticing both were full. One with a bagged floresce egg he was going to give to Cade, and one with half a bag of spookies that Bea girl gave him to eat so he wouldn't topple over from starvation. He looked at both hands, and tried his best to wave, before dropping them down at his sides.
"Um, I was going to ask - have you seen another kelpie? He's a boil about this tall, short black hair down to his shoulders, with ribbons and flowers in it. Very pretty, and is friends with a patchwork ghoul and a little gnome boil. I'm looking for him. His name is Cade." He poked the plushie once again, just because he thought it looked too cute to represent the grumpy mini he once walked.

Calder looked... Off; she wasn't sure why and part of her told her that she shouldn't ask. At the question, she shook her head, "Hm... No, I don't think so...?" She then paused to think, trying to recall if she saw any of the people Calder had just mentioned. A moment later, however, she shook her head again, looking apologetic, "I'm sorry... I'll keep an eye out for you though? Cade, right? If I see him, I'll direct him straight to you!"
She smiled sheepishly, not sure what else to say, "Um, you may take one of the plushies if you like?" She wasn't sure how that would help with locating this 'Cade' though.

His poking became slower as his ears tried not to drop at the news. "Oh." He glanced up and then back down at the plushie. "Uh, yeah. Tell Cade I'm looking for him, and...that I'm worried. I'll be at my booth tonight waiting. Or, if he has to run off home again, tell me to give someone his number. I didn't get a chance to." He had been too swept up in the moment, and now he hated himself for not giving the boil his number. At least then, he could TALK with his boilfriend even if he couldn't see him. It was better than nothing.
He picked up the plushie, and gave it a little squeeze, looking as if he just needed something to hug. "Thanks Lizzy. For helping." He didn't have anything to give her, but like many before, she was now on a long list of boils and ghouls (many ghouls) that were helping him out today to relay the message. He felt better with a lot more people available to pass the message along. He just hoped Cade showed up soon.
Forcing a smile, he gave her a nod, before heading off. There were still more booths to go.
