Atropos walked into his room, shutting the door behind him. He always needed as much quiet as he could get when he painted. He threw his messenger bag onto his small bed. Just when he thought he was going to have a peaceful evening, Atropos spotted a guy look at him, then lay down at the end of the fire escape. What the hell... he thought as he roughly pulled his curtains closed. God, I miss our old place..! He tried to shake away any negative emotions. Atropos pulled the spider lillies he picked early out of his bag and placed them an a dark wooden alter. Among these were a various assortment of other flowers, and a few crystals. Setting up the canvas was always his favorite thing about painting; he loved the smooth yet rough feeling of the material, just waiting to be beautified.

Victoria eventually felt the rain but ignored it, getting drenched. She got up and went back to her apartment slowly, picking up the trash left over from feeding the birds. "I wonder if Oddessa is even wondering where I am." She muttered out loud, continuing to walk down the sidewalk and through the small puddles. She eventually found home and walked in, looking around. "Anyone here?" She wondered out loud, but then felt silly. Like anyone would answer her. Yeah. Right.

Atropos thought he heard something, but he didn't care. In the short time that he started, he was nearly done with his painting. All that was left were the flowers.

Finally, he was finished. Atropos pulled the colorful canvas from the easel and held it to the light. Hmm... he thought. He couldn't quite place it, but something was wrong with the painting. "Ugh, this'll bother me until I figure it out!" he yelled, placing it back on the easel. This time, however, it was backwards just so he didn't have to look at it. He couldn't stand when his own art mocked him.

"Well I don't." Atropos said as he flipped the painting back over. "Artists always find something to criticize with their own art as they say. By the way, who is they? I never understood that." He flopped down on his bed. The sheets and comforter were haphazzardly strewn about; he never did see the point in making his bed. For that matter, most of his room was a giant mess, like a twister just got done passing through.

"Somethin' weighin' on your mind?" Atropos said in a mocking tone, nudging Oddessa with his foot. He was already feeling tired. For some reason, he wasn't really much of a night person for a vampire.

Atropos was suprised by the sudden seriousness of the question. "Probably. Maybe. Well, not so much you, since I basically saved your a** today. Oh, don't look at me like that, I was kidding!" he said when Oddessa gave him a severe look. Atropos started again seriously, "What I'm trying to say is, we all have the ability to survive, it's just that it's a lot easier when we work as a team."

Darius slept for a while. He woke up and climbed down the ladder. Even though he was still dead tired he didn't want to over stay his welcome. After all he wasn't used to the building and that guy looked at Darius like he was a cow about to get slaughtered.

"Man I need some coffee or something..." Darius thought as he walked down the street. He wasn't sure if the shop around the block was still open at this time of night, but he headed in that direction anyway. He had nothing to lose by doing so.
