heart honestly, looks like you made it in ms paint... sorry if i'm being blunt, i go to a technical center for digital art, so i'm a bit picky and used to critiques... i DO like where the words are positioned, but the color-scheme looks kind of haphazard... i'd suggest more white, more negative space to help emphasize the picture... again, sorry if i'm being overly-picky No, it's okay. You're right.
Paint sucks serious a**. gonk
A friend of mine found a way to download Photoshop for free.
Is that where people do the avvie banners that don't suck?

Pyrotechnic Oracle It came through an insperationle discussion I had with another member regarding the PCG's banner on their front page. may i ask which program you made that in? i have photoshop and consider myself a "master" of sorts... and may i post my suggested revisions to the other banner? i have it made up and saved on my desktop, i just don't want to post it without ebony's permission...

It was a simple editing in MS paint. I cut and paste the halo fomr one of the other sigs onto a black back ground and then put the words in. I'm pretty good with MS paint, but I'm no master. If any one knows how to get the glow effect in paint, please tell me.

Oh, I know how to use the glow effect in PS, I've use dit numerous times in light saber edits. Its just that this comp dosn't have photoshop. I wish it did, but when I reformated my comp I accednetly set it to how it was when I got it fomr the manufacturer, so PS went bye bye

i try to avoid filters as much as possible... i like to lower the opacity and go over it with a brush a few times

IT curves off at the end of the picture, somthign I wouldn't have a proplem with if it were a full lenth blade. But, since I was doing a close up with a partile length, I would have to go over the end with a brush to get the glow efect just right. These are my best two. Seas Tien's (bonefied badd a**) light saber, and Darth Malek's light saber   Workign with angled end sabers. (like Anikens) or claw tips (like Exar Kun's) Are extremly difficult for me to fo. I evently found out how to do it though. Whats really hard though is gettign the core of the blade the right shade. The cores arn't pure white, their an extremly pale color of the primary blade.

did you make the entire thing from scratch? i can never seem to get metals to look...metalic enough for my liking.
