Maia watched in amazement as the swamp thing lashed out, she herself having to dive out of the way of it claws before it was no more. She couldn't help, but to grin before she got up to look for the other's that had been tossed. only to stop when she felt the ground shake.
She turned slowly toward the lake and froze her eyes wide, her form beginning to tremble. She almost wanted to cry and her expression went to one of not again. The blob was far to close to a mud monster for Maia's comfort and so she back up quickly decided while the swamp creatures were still about they were who she would be fighting.
Was she scared? Yes! Would she flip if she got some blob on her? Yes! So, would she rather not? Yes!
She moved over to the next swamp creature, Sog, chained to Nifhel, Polaris very close to him ran up so she was in range to attack. "Need a hand," she called with a smile before she made to attack the thing.
This time, not wanting the monster to flip the freak out she used her first attack, "Sweet Harmony."
The attack was the same as before with a tornado of rainbow colors notes, but the effect of feeling bogged down and dead tired would be lessened.

Hug-bell
The child watched another monster come up from the lake, her mouth dropped before she ran towards Hygiea to make sure she was okay. "There's still Swamp things... and now that blobby thing....?"
"Maybe we should get the little ones first and then the biggest one?" She asked looking around before grabbing a stick and and throwing it at the nearest swamp monster, Sog. It at least seemed reasonable.

Lt. Zippeite had nodded to Painite's advice. He was mostly dodging, trying not to antagonize any monsters that were preoccupied with destroying their enemy.
But then the blob emerged and he was honestly terrified. It was just a roving pile of destruction and he honestly couldn't resist trying to attack that thing. That was just too damn dangerous, and, in his opinion, really really really needed to be eliminated as soon as possible.
It took some hesitation, but he did muster up the courage to attack the blob with all he had. Which wasn't much, especially at this point.
Especially since his little figure and plastic toy just pretty much bounced off the thing. Ack.

"Oh, it's not like I'm trying to die," Babylon snapped at Valhalla, but he accepted the help to his feet. He straightened his grip on the baseball bat and dropped into a ready stance - he'd learned his lesson about getting it caught in the seaweed whips and wasn't about to repeat the experience.
No, this time he was going to ******** kill something, and he was not going to get dragged all over the lakefront to do it. All this determination sounded good in his head, and it was perfectly well and good until the boathouse imploded right in front of his eyes.
"WHAT THE ******** ********," screamed Babylon, at which point it occurred to him that he was probably not going to get paid since camp had turned out to be a negaverse front.
He gripped the baseball bat to his chest and rushed at the Blob with all his might, renewed by his anger at having just wasted two weeks of his life for no pay, some bruises, and a bloody face.
"EAT BASEBALL BAT, FUGLY."

As Niflhel and Babylon were used like battering rams Polaris found herself being flung backwards, hitting the ground with a loud umph.
Niflhel's warning kept her down, but as the sound of the boat house crashing to pieces echo'd through the night air, her teal eyes focused on the new and huge monster.
She was kind of far away, so she wasn't sure how well it would work, but she had to try. Focusing on the wreckage of the boat house the senshi of magnetism prayed some metal beams would pull themselves loose enough to hit the giant Blob. "Super magnetic field!"
"Maia. Thank you" She smiled softly at the familiar senshi as she appeared, still crouched low and tiredly on the ground. Her face could tell just how thankful she was for the help.

At the "death" of Zog, Ganymede moved a bit closer to Valhalla, not all that fond of the idea of straying too far from him, especially as another monster rose up from the lake. And to think, he and Chris had just been out on that lake a few days ago. If he knew it were capable of harboring such revolting monsters, he might have second guessed his decision to go out in the canoe. Seriously, what the hell was in that water?
"So, Wonder Boy, are we sticking to your original plan or are we going after the blob?" he asked Valhalla. The strength of the newest monster and its rush to destroy the boat house set a rather uncomfortable feeling in the pit of his stomach.
"On second thought, I think I'll stick with these guys for now," he decided, approaching one of the other monsters to land a strike to Sog's torso.

Flora was making faces at the ugly swamp creatures crawling up from the lake. Had they been in there the whole time? Did that mean that when they were swimming in the lake, they had technically been swimming with those creatures? Ugh.
She grimaced and then went after the destructive Blob. She was determined to not let it go anywhere near the cabins! Not after seeing how it had wrecked the boathouse.
Flora steeled herself and then aimed her hands in its direction. "Flora Pollen Storm!" The pollen cloud shot out towards the monster; hopefully it would distract it and it would turn its attention towards her? Not that it was really a good thing of course, but it was definitely a better option than letting it plow towards the cabins with the children in them.

Captain Painite followed after Zippeite, mostly to keep him safe. She didn't want him to get in trouble.
Of course, she didn't want to fight the giant ugly blob, either, but if he was going to attack it then she had better not take her eye of him. It looked more than dangerous, considering what short work it was making of trees and man made structures.
Summoning her strength, she charged in toward the thing, javelin gripped in both hands, stabbing it forward once she was close enough with as much force as she could muster. Which, like the Lieutenant before her, was not as much as she would have liked.

Bog was clearly distressed by the lack of attention he was getting and another furry creature attacking it. It grabed Zirconia and growled at her before swamp slimming her. It then laughed in an garbled nonsense sort of way that sounded more like nails on a chalk board than any sort of normal laughter.

The senshi of mountains shirked back as the newest monster emerged from the lake. When would it end!? She took up a position close to the center of the three amigos (herself excluded from this figure and gender) and gulped hard and loud.
"What the ******** ******** is right," she said, much quieter in comparison to Babylon's yell.
Maenalus noticed that Bog seemed to be slowing down, or at least as much as a monster could, and decided to concentrate her efforts on it at the moment. It would be better to get the smaller ones out of the way so everyone could focus on the big one, right? However, the task became far more pressing when it grabbed Zirconia.
"Let her go!" She took her baseball bat and smashed the thing in the back. Nervously, she was aware that she'd have to keep an eye on the two smaller monsters (though they were not small) and the giant blob, already having to dodge a few of its wide swings.

Well, that was one monster down... and another giant blob was coming up out of the lake, oh wonderful.
He frowned when Ganymede came up to him to ask what to do, although he'd already decided.
"Attack the little ones first!!" Valhalla called after Babylon when he went after the Blob. They'd already injured the little ones. If they got rid of them, then they could all focus on the big one at once. At least one of the little senshi seemed to pick up on that and he paused to give Hug-bell a thumbs up.
"Back away! Look out!" he called after Ganymede, not wanting him to be hurt by the monster. Or Zirconia. He wished she would stay closer to him, but he doubted she'd listen if he told her to, so he didn't. Of course, when he saw her being picked up by the monster, Valhalla raced forward and jumped up to kick Bog in the... shoulder??... trying to get it to let Zirconia go. Of course, he was also thankful for Maenalus's help in distracting it, although he hoped she would get away in time, too.
"Let go of her!" he shouted at it, attempting to grab for her and get away. That was his cat. Er... best friend.

Zirconia barely had time to blink when she found herself grabbed, and then, suddenly... oh god, swamp slime. Slime. SLIME.
She made a weird little retching sound, and then a yowl, and started squirming, flailing and clawing with utter desperation. If she didn't get to water soon, she might flat out cry.
Oh, and she was in the grip of a monster but more importantly this was disgusting. "Let me go!" she screeched, still keeping up the rapid flail of claws and teeth. She barely even noticed Maenalus and Valhalla coming to her rescue.

Perseus wasn't sure how much disorienting the monsters was going to help everyone, but she wanted to try anyways. Perhaps it would stop the grubby lengths of seaweed and debris to find their way around fellow skirts. At this point, since it seemed to be attacking unbiased as to sides, she was sure that the Negaverse would also rally against the cause which made them temporary allies.
Bracing herself, Perseus moved herself within range of Blob and aimed for it. "Illusion's Kiss!" She blew her magic at the beast, hoping to slow its raging tendencies at least a little. Hopefully it would be enough to allow some of the more offensively geared senshi to attack without recourse.
After unleashing her attack, Perseus moved to back away from it, and away from Painite as well. The woman had taken enough from her in this past week and this past night, and the senshi would not allow her to do any more damage. At least she seemed rather intent on attacking other people at this juncture. She ended up somewhere near Flora, and she turned to smile at the super. "Good to see you again, though it has been quite a while. Wish it were under better circumstances though."

*********> narrowly managed to miss hitting the black suited senshi, landing on her feet rather firmly. Oh god, how wobbly her legs felt after such a harsh landing. The manx needed a perch for now, but somehow she didn't think the corrupt senshi (Carnelian) would be a good target. For a brief moment, a flash of Tisiphone and Hel's face touched her memory. She felt pity towards all, though in Tisiphone's special case, she also felt a sort of hatred that ********* rarely seemed to possess.
In a desperate attempt to get somebody to assist her, ********* let out a loud whining mewling sound for ANYBODY NEARBY to hear. She needed to hitch a ride and hitch a ride FAST.
