Cobra_X Also, on the note of Byakugan... a life and death situation is not required to use it. Im editting that requirement. ...Hinata showed that it could be activated by hand seals. Does this also count for Hyouton? Or does it have to be a battle? Also; does it have to be a battle? Is falling off a cliff count?

...Haku presented the ability to use his water manipulation skills early on without any prior trauma.

Yes he did, but if I remember correctly he could only create small figures and stuff. It got intense after his father attacked him after he thought that Haku was some kind of monster or something like that. Don't remember the earliest episodes.

'All jutsu' are any form of techniques, you name it. Nin/Gen/Tai/Kenjutsu. Just think of it as the user is smarter than others and can learn jutsu faster, it doesn't matter what kind of jutsu it is.
And that includes Kekkei Genkai techniques. But remember, if Intelligence is placed as the Tertiary Attribute then your character is just smarter [Slightly] than the others, you don't get the whole Benefit.

Hrm.... Guys, can't remember anything against this suggestion, but if it was already discussed and denied, then I'm sorry for forgetting >_< . Would a tweak that changes ninjutsu to genjutsu and vice versa be plausible? I mean, we have a tweak that lets people replace their taijutsu style with a kenjutsu style and vice versa. Maybe we can have something like that for ninjutsu and genjutsu?

I am sure you can come up with something that will work, put whatever your think will work out into your profile and Cobra will make a call. If he doesn't some other crew will.

can water in the desert be plausible? like, if an RPC had suiton as his main element, and he was a genin in suna, would he be able to "draw water from the air" or something like that? or would he just have to carry water around with him?

I don't know if it's possible, but if it were you would want to draw it from the ground, deserts are notoriously dry... i.e. can't draw enough from the air around you, you would want to instead try and draw it from some sort of underground reservoir which would make more sense...

He would have to carry water with him; and refilling is not a problem, there is a waterfall in Suna. And for any case where you can't find water, I think there is a technique of Suiton for creating water.

I have a suggestion! Can the Cursemarks be re-done? They're very confusing... I could do it if no one else is available to do it? I was reading it, and got extremely confused. Not sure how else to describe it.. I guess it's just how its described.

The whole thing (for the Curse Seal of Heaven) seems unorganized to me. It talks about rolling dice at various places and times, thrown in with various other things. It makes it difficult to understand, although after re-reading it thousands of times I get the basic concept.
And can I submit a character, then afterwards apply for a cursemark (it says nothing about no restriction on applying for the CS after character creation)?

It is organized very well. And the whole crew understood it in one reading. So, it either must be you, or Deil expressed it in a too advanced manner. Let's see if other members make the very same "criticism" as you.
I believe you can, as you don't get the Cursemark right away after applying.

What you need is a Camel summoning or some cactus.
