Chiyomaru nodded and leaned in, the cherry stem sticking out of her mouth. She pulled it out and ate the cherry. "OK," she said.

"well, you see..." Kyokie paused, not sure of how to word it i come from a family of witches. my brother you met, he's a witch. so's the rest of my family. and so am I. Kyokie said, leaning away, looking for her reaction. Kyokie smiled weakly, hoping she woudn't do anything stupid with what she'd just said.

Kyokie blushed, scratching the back of her head. heh. glad you think so. I'm not very strong though. my brothers are. the boys develop their powers faster. Kyokie said quietly, stirring her tea absent minded.

"Well, it's the opposite in my family. I became more powerful than all three of my brothers put together. The only one that can even start to compete is my oldest brother, Takashi," Chiyomaru said. She took another sip of her tea. "But, my mom was a weapon, so that's probably why."

Kyokie smiled, nodding. yeah... but that's really the reson why all my brothers were such jerks. they no they can kick everyones but with a flick of their magical wrist. and the fact that we're locked in mortal combat for the family title until my father dies in probably never doesn't exactly help. it just drives me crazy. Kyokie said, shaking her head slightly as she took another bite of cake.

Chiyomaru nodded as she finished off her ice cream. "Well, me and my brothers all know Takashi is going to be the next head of our family. He's the oldest, most mature, blah, blah, blah," she said. She looked at Kyokie. "But, I don't care, really. That just gives me more time to find the Kishin that killed my father. After that, I'm not really sure what I wanna do. I don't think I want to be a Death Scythe, because I'm friends with a few Witches. I don't think I could kill one. Now, if he or she tried to kill me first, that's a different story. I'll defend myself of course." She paused. "OK, I'm talking too much again." She smiled.

Kyokie nodded, taking her last bite of cake. that makes sense. but you should know, that just because you're friends with a few witches doesn't mean they're all good. most of them are bad, or act good and are spies, like lady medusa was before she got caught. being a witch, i knowa thing or two about personality fluxes. only one of my brothers is a real nice guy, and he's albina, which may be why. we are crows, and crows are black. he's a white crow. in fact, he's attending school here as well at the moment. it's his second year, i think. he lives right next to me. anyway, enough about that subject..... Kyokie said, trailing off. she felt as though she may have said a little too much.

Rêve walked in the restaurant and sat down in a seat, she had not eaten in a while so right now she felt as if she could eat anything. She glanced at the menu, skimming through everything.

Chiyomaru nodded. She ate the last bite of ice cream. "So, what should we do now?" she asked. "Maybe we can find a low-level Kishin out there that we can practice on!"
