Akemi woke up the next day to find Stephan's face right in front of his. The bird boy bit his lip to stop himself from squealing and pretended to be asleep. He didn't want to leave his side and the bed was just so warm...

Stephan heaved a heavy sigh and hugged Akemi closer, bring their faces slightly closer, to the point of their breath mingling together in the air. For a little bit, Stephan stayed like this, but eventually his eyes opened slowly, only halfway, but enough for him to see Akemi's face and feel the urge to pull him closer, but didn't instead he stared blankly at the young boy's face a bit longer.

Akemi opened his eyes to see what pulled him closer. Then he saw that Stephan was so close to him. And his eyes were open too."Ah, Stephan!! " Akemi said, face flushed. "Um... Good morning ...."

Stephan's eyes widened a fraction of an inch when Akemi's eyes opened and he couldn't help to stare at them, "You know Akemi... I've had the strangest urge since yesterday when we talked about fears, and I've been quite curious about it too." he said, bringing his hands up and placing them on either side of Akemi's face, gently, "You said that you could never hate me, right? You said that you liked me, didn't you? How much do you like me...?" he asked softly, his eyes never left the other's.

Akemi blushed even more. "I l-l........ What do you want me to say anyways? It doesn't really even matter so..." But he wanted so badly to tell Stephan his feelings for him and couldn't say it. That was the real problem here.

Stephan studied Akemi's reaction for a moment, "I've been thinking since that one scientist, Elliot, told me that I was oblivious... At first I thought he was talking about something involving Kylie, but then when we were talking about your fear of lightening and thunder, it kept coming up in my mind... did he really mean Kylie, or did he mean something about you? You looked so enuthiastic whenever you'd speak to me, and only me, that I couldn't help but wonder... How do you feel about me, Akemi?" he asked, whisper quiet, and he slowly brought the boy's face closer, their faces were now only centimeters from each other.

Akemi opened his mouth to say something and stopped himself. !W-w-why are you so worried about what Elliot says " Akemi asked as he chuckled nervously. "Kylie likes you too! I mean not too but you get the point right? " His face was all red as he tried to scoot away from Stephan.
{I should just let some sadistic scientist sell Elliot off. >]}

Stephan watched as Akemi began to pull away, and he blinked once, letting go, "Ah, sorry. You probably thought that that was weird. I shouldn't've done that." he siad, sitting up and rubbing his face free of sleep, but it was obvious that he was hurt a little by his voice.

Akemi turned away, knowing that Stephan was hurt because of him. He bit his lip and then looked at Stephan again. "I hope you will not stop liking me because of this but.... the truth is that I'm in love with ok a moment to pause and blush before continuing. "I'm in love with you..." Then he just froze, now unsure what to do. 'Shoot, I wasn't suppose to say that………' Akemi thought as he covered his mouth.

Stephan looked back at Akemi incredulously, and he couldn't help but smirk, "How could I possibly not like you for that, Akemi? If anything, it makes me really happy." he laughed, and it was a shaky laugh, one that was obviously showing his relief as he ran his hands through his thick blonde hair, "You're amazing, you know that?" he smiled, laying back down and pulled Akemi into a hug, then he kissed the boy's cheek, "I hope you don't mind, but I'm a touchy feely kinda' guy." he chuckled, burrying his face into the space between Akemi's neck and shoulder.

Akemi blushed even more. "S-so you like me?" He stared up at him with wide, blue eyes. "Me amazing? How?" The bird boy was baffled as how he would be amazing. "I'm far from amazing," he stated bluntly. Akemi smiled happily as he let him kiss and hug him. "I'm so glad..." he murmured to himself. "W-What do you mean by a touchy feely kind of guy? You like touching people......?" For some reason, it sounded wrong to him. It was probably because of Elliot. Most definatly because of Elliot.

Stephan couldn't help but laugh at Akemi's questions, "Of course I like you, and you are amazing, if you weren't then why would I tell you you were?" he said, hugging him closer and chuckling, "No, silly. I mean that I like to hug a lot and I like to be close to people I like. So, I'll be hugging you and staying close to to you a whoooooole lot." he smiled.

Akemi grinned as he hugged Stephan. "I love you lots! .... You know that right?" He rested his head on Stephan's chest and sighed contently. Akemi kissed Stephan on the cheek. "Then you have to hug me lots or I might think you're cheating on me and I'll get jealous. You can't flirt with other people either! I'm sensitive to those things, you know."
