Xagarath Ankor Which system are you playing? (Was himself up till 7:30 am in the cold last Saturday, doing F&H) LT. Same system as the Gathering. It didn't just rain. It snowed. And it's snowing again. And I have a cold. And I'm going just one stop down the line from that place this weekend. *sneezes*

Back. Since next weekend's event's been cancelled, I'll be around for a little bit.
Managed to give myself concussion and whiplash, so excuse me if I'm more random than usual for a few days.

Xagarath Ankor Nuala Back. Since next weekend's event's been cancelled, I'll be around for a little bit. Managed to give myself concussion and whiplash, so excuse me if I'm more random than usual for a few days. Ouch. Are you sure you're ok, there? Sore and slightly muzzy on Ibuprofen. Managed to fall head first and headbutt some tarmac on Saturday night: concussed myself when I landed and caught the whiplash as my head - having nowhere else to go as the rest of me hit the ground - snapped backwards (also adding to the concussion when my neck had nowhere to go but into the back of my skull). Spent Sunday by the fire in the referees' room (having been nothing but bruised the night before and gone back to the game, but finding the swelling quite painful the next morning) drinking tea before having to carry my bags back to Wales, which didn't help.

I've had concussion before (someone once accidentally piledrivered me head first into an oaken ceiling beam whilst I was at university - it's probably best if you don't ask...), and it's the short term memory loss and the mood swings that're the biggest pest.
I'm finding the whiplash - which I've never had before - more annoying: I crick when I walk, and I can't lie back with my hands behind my head without my shoulders and collarbone straining.

Don't sell yourself short like that - I've hardly been talking to anyone recently.
