Takera listened carefully to Hatari's words. He considered what Hatari had been saying and it began to anchor itself within Takera's mind. He'd lost his parents who tried to support him and his brother as they grew, and then after the adventures they shared and the adversities they met, his brother was taken from him. Thus leaving Takera by himself in this cold world to wonder. He felt the pressure build in his face and held back his sorrows as he watched Hatari sulking. "I've lost everything of importance to me in this life, but I just continue to move forward. I don't know why." He let out a sigh. ".. But I've experienced a pain like that of your own and I understand it very well.
Takera moved his hand up to his chin and rubbed it for a second while he thought. After about a minute his hand moved back to his side. "If you're that confident Rizu won't have a reason to destroy you, then just know, when we move on whatever happens with him, I can't help you. I've experienced a small portion of what he can do and it's insane." Takera exhaled as he readied his left hand and got into a stance. "I know you're injured, but you have to try and jump the pit once more. I'll try to catch you the best I can, but I'm not all that strong honestly, so you'll have to forgive me if we end up back in that pit." Takera stood firmly attempting to prepare himself and braced for the boy who was about to jump to him.

Hatari took a moments time to limp backward as he slowly inhaled a deep breath of air as he looked over towards Takera and thus began his forward movement towards the pit just before jumping outward, his right hand outstretched just in case he hadn't made the right amount of speed and height length. Damn it... I'm too far! Suddenly watching as his hand reached that of Takera's Hatari was relieved that he had finally got over the pit with none the less but the person who mistook his actions for that of an invaders. He sighed as he stood upon his left foot with his right foot slanted upward in a manner where it was relieved of pressure. "Now let's get the hell out of here before the time runs out! and don't worry about me I'll be able to keep up...good thing Rizu went ahead perhaps we won't have to do much."Quote: Jump Check: Agility(85) + Strength(30) = 115 vs 250 -5% on check

He reached out and grabbed his arm firmly, pulling Hatari right out of the air and landing him next to Takera. Hatari spoke suggesting that he'd be fine without Takera's assistance walking and that they needed to move quickly or the exams would end and they'd be left with nothing. Takera looked over at Hatari. " If you're certain you're alright, then let's go. And as far as Rizu goes, his abilities are more than enough to handle whatever else this place had left to throw at him. If we're lucky there won't be any remaining traps like the pit that can't simply be turned off and passed over." Takera turned back to the pathway and began watching but kept his eye on Hatari to make sure it didn't hinder him or cause him to fall. If he fell and Takera weren't watching him, he might accidently run off ahead without him and not notice for several minutes, so it was better to simply keep an eye on Hatari and see how well he handles himself with his injury.

Hatari lifted himself upward and quickly began to make his way towards the long lit hall way towards the open chamber of yet another test; however, the lit hall form what he could see was far longer than he had ever Imagined it to be thus they would have to work fast in order to catch up with the other two. I must move quickly or else I'll never make this second exam I can't believe how much time was wasted as Takera held us both here for so long, was it truly his intent to stay behind and fail along side of me just to prove I was really an invader...no matter that's done and over with... he thought to himself as he continued down the lit path before them, as he looked ahead he simply spoke in a calm mannerism. "We must hurry, I'm not sure how much time we have left; however, I know a great deal was wasted due to assumptions and no hard evidence, as for the street brat, he would have never gotten food if he hadn't been strong enough to take it form me... you see I had clones all throughout the area scouting the area...what I did notice was a handful of new faces that I've never seen before much like Rizu. However with that said I'm not calling Rizu anything at this point he's helped me this far and I'm willing to stand by him no matter what, you must understand that by now if I would have continued my attack I surely could have killed you. With that being said I find going into battle the only way to solve an issue, if you don't know how your opponent fights you won't know if they're telling the truth or not. Do you understand... I risked all I had and told you why I was here, to be perfectly honest no body knows about my parents because they weren't from Kumogakure, I was brought here out of a business transaction in which my parents had with a crime lord and when they went to that business meeting they never came back and that is why I became a shinobi in the first place to seek out my parents and to find at least the littlest of information upon them..." He continued down the hall as he pushed his ankle much harder than he did during the climb out of the pit those last two times, he wasn't worried too much for it would only bother him until after he finished the exams in which case he'd get it healed by a medic or someone who was capable of doing so. As the battle had ended Hatari's eyes had gone back to their usual dark color, he had no reason to put up his guard for his skill did all of the talking for him. Takera continued running and keeping his eye on Hatari, or more so Hatari's injured leg. He seemed to be pressing on nicely, so it seemed that it might not have as bad an influence on their pace of travel as he originally thought. Hatari spoke as they made their way down the long path and were coming up on the next test. He started to explain that his parents were not of this country and that due to illegal actions they vanished without a trace and now the boy only wanted but to find them. He also spoke of the child Takera mentioned earlier and how he was treating him, then remembered that Notwen had become unusually serious and aggrivated with Takera during their conversation as Notwen did with Hatari's statements. Notwen was sort of pal-ish at the start when he tried to wedge himself into the group, but his attitude quickly did a 180. Takera sorted his thoughts on the subject and figured that maybe Notwen's actions further mislead Takera's suspicion to go off track. He pushed the thoughts back as it was all just speculation now and commenced to speak in responce to Hatari's words. "I understand how you feel more than you know. I wish I could explain my own experiences so openly as you have, but I unable to do such at this point in time. I will however ask something of you. Have you ever seen a boy about my age named Zeru? Or have you heard his name anywhere before?" Takera asked Hatari with concern in his voice and genuine interest on the topic. "He's the only thing I have left in this world, and he went missing some time ago after an ambush assault against us by some bandits. Since then I've trained and traveled desperately seeking answers." Takera's voice became a bit unstable as he took a breath to calm himself and began to lightly bite his lip.

Hatari looked to his right once more as he continued down the half lit underground alley way in which Takera and himself were traveling within. After speaking Takera picked up once more on the conversation only to state he was keeping his past within the past; however, he mentioned a boy by the name of Zeru; unfortunately the name had never rung a bell nor did it sound familiar in any sort of way and thus he replied to the masked boys question as he continued down the alley way side by side with his partner. "Sadly I know no such person, nor have I ever heard of them before today, if he was someone close to you than I am sorry that you've lost him...Perhaps your paths will cross once more only on a different scale for either good or for worse honestly you never know...people change and thus the situations become complicated or irrelevant to those who wish to seek other idealisms for themselves. I say this with one purpose those who seek out to hurt others don't have anything to lose and thus their emotions are turned into frozen blocks while their lust for power, fame, or fortune are increased tenfold. this Zeru guy, I think you'll find that family never leaves you in some way or another, I've kept remnants from my parents and thus they hold precious value to me, wouldn't let them go for anything in this world except my parents themselves...it appears that we're almost in the second section of the second exam, this dim lit alley way seems to be getting brighter and brighter...I wonder what this main-village has constructed within this Subdivision-village within the outskirts of that of the main-village...No matter what we've got to make it to that final location before the timer runs out and we get enclosed due to failing the Exams." Within that instant Hatari knew that there was something huge within the corridor before them, he had no clue what it was but he had taken a guess due to the bright lighting and the door that opened apparently when Rizu and Meitsu went on ahead of them. He sighed in relief as he entered the corridor looking back at Takera and smirked a little. "Now... where do we go from here..." Hatari thought for a moments time before scaling a massive amount of moving tiles it wasn't until he looked further left did he see a straight shot to the other side of the giant room, there had been where Rizu had some how managed to turn off the tiles and got through with out issue. "Over there, to our left...see the line of tiles that aren't moving that's where Rizu and Meitsu got across this puzzle board of a room."Quote: 78 out of 75 lines, Part 1 of step 3 complete!

Takera continued to run alongside Hatari as they made their way down the dimly lit corridor. It began to get brighter and brighter, to which Takera started to recall the incident with the pit fall in the darkness. Are they trying to brighten the place to hide something or are we just within good fortune to have proper lighting? Takera thought to himself as he continued his steady pace. He looked down ever so slightly to notice Hatari's foot/leg was still holding up fine. It seemed there was little to no worry left. He'd probably be just fine until they get to Sorain or even be able to hold out farther, though once they reached Sorain he'd be able to assist the boy and rid him and Takera both of any injuries or damage they've sustained while in this place. He peered over to Hatari as Hatari spoke in response to his question about Zeru. "Zeru's a little off from what people are normally like, but he's always been 100% reliable. He'd never turn to a darker side unless he were forced into it by some overwhelming factor, but he'd still remain himself regardless. That's just how he is, I suppose." Takera had gone from beside Hatari to about 2 steps back from Hatari's side now as he'd let himself get caught up in his recalling of Zeru. He looked up ahead and watched as they came up upon what looked to be the next trap of this test, but something was off. It seemed among the moving tiles on the ground ahead of them, a string of them had been made still and formed a solid path. Hatari had looked back to point this out to Takera, but he had already noticed it a few seconds earlier. "Yeah. It seems I was right. Rizu must've blown through the rest of the test during our scuffle and reached the end. He's probably waiting for us at the end with Meitsu unless he was set free of this place and left, but I wouldn't take him for the kind of person to just up and leave like that."
Takera tilted his head to look back behind them. He had an odd feeling about this place. He shrugged the thoughts that began surging into his head away and turned back to the moving tiles and the path.Takera moved up to the tiles that had been arranged and stilled. He took a breath and reached a foot onto the tile putting a low amount of weight on the tile as to test it's stability. If this test were like the other, then it's possible Rizu simply managed to figure the trick out and get over it and what it looks like is really too good to be true. He slowly put more and more weight on the first tile until he moved himself onto it. "It seems clear. I suppose Rizu really did find some sort of way stop these tiles." He began to walk down the tiled path treading lightly until he finally reached the other end. He stepped to the side on the other end leaving an opening for Hatari to walk past him once he reached that side as well. "That's one more down. We're making good progress." Takera took another look around at their surroundings now that he was on the other side of the trap. Ir seemed that the trap really was just the sliding tiles.

Hatari once more peered back at Takera and gently took a breath into his lungs just before exhaling gently. He had come to the conclusion that who ever this Zeru might be he was especially important to Takera and thus he would do just about anything to find him as well; although, they were one of the same with objectives they were two very different people. Hatari himself liked fighting as Takera did not, it seemed like Takera was much more passive on the matter of standing his ground for what he believed; however, Hatari had nothing to hide as thus far he's told nothing but the honest truth about his intentions and that of himself. He hurriedly stepped behind Takera and took no time in seeing if there were any traps of the sorts within this test for if Rizu and Meitsu had already gone through the test they would have been sure to put a stable route of transportation. looking a head he found a more sections of tiles along with different routes in which they could take; however, the route was already written for them as he thought before. Slowly jumping up onto a mass of square blocks he looked around only to find a pitch black void beneath them, it was probably instant death if they would have tried to jump without Rizu present either that or they'd be shuffled back to square one where they'd have a even more harder time getting past the more faster traveling tiles. He sighed as he looked over back to his right and looked at Takera he was standing there looking a bit flushed as he tippy toed practically everywhere. Hatari spoke for a third time just as he jumped down from the mass of blocks. "you don't need to worry all of this is stable Rizu and Meitsu made sure that we, well rather you could follow their lead and thus catch up to them without hesitation. So lets continue on, I feel as if we're being watched though...not to mention we'll be to our destination within no time, we just have to follow their trails and hope like hell that we make it to the final room in time, yeah... I'm pretty sure that was the test to have x amount of rooms along with x amount of tests within each room... it sounds like a hell ride; however, in fact if we can't pass these tests then whats to let the higher ranks believe we're ready for such things as being a chuunin and taking on bigger responsibilities. We should get moving Takera I have a feeling we'll make it by the skin of our backs." He wasn't too worried for he knew the tests up until the third exam would be fairly easier for they involved more of a team effort, his main concern was the third and final exam. oh how he wished he had knew such things before hand so that he could have possibly prepared himself in a more suitable fashion than where his skill level was at. he sighed as he darted off towards the next door. From what could be seen this door was filled by a long almost never ending tile trail that went for what seemed a entire mountain length of a walk. He couldn't believe that Rizu and Meitsu had already traveled through this in such a short amount of time. He would have to do it not only for his sake; but, as well as the sake of his missing parents. " Looks like we're just about there just a couple more yards ahead and we shall pass this exam with no more troublesome setbacks; however, before we go I'd like to ask you a question, are you an invader?" He stopped mid track as he stared bluntly into the eyes of Takera, His question was that of a simple one and for the soul purpose of knowing he wanted to know, because either way they were right before the door, the door that lead them to the next part of the exams. Hatari didn't however mean to be distrustful in any way as he kept his mellow toned look upon his body structure as he simply waited for the answer to slip through Takera's mouth. "The only reason why I ask that is because of what happened earlier, and for you to tell me the truth now wouldn't change anything due to the point of being blank point at the door and if you were a invader you could in fact throw me off of these tiles and into this endless pit in which he stand over. Hatari just wanted to get this over with so he took a vial from Rizu before popping open the lid smelling it as it had no smell and simply drank it. be spoke soon after. "It's been an interesting turn of events, I just hope I made it out of this alive..."

Takera continued along semi-slowly assuming that the tiles were firm and steady, so he'd have no problem moving forward. As they continued Hatari tried to convince Takera that his caution was for not and that Rizu and Meitsu purposely set the way so Takera alone could pass. Takera thought for a good moment on what the other two's reactions would be seeing Takera and Hatari both meeting up at the end with him. At the very least they probably expected Takera, but it wasn't a far cry to believe Hatari might've gotten the upper hand and trumped Takera either. Hatari finished up by remarking that he believed they were cutting it really close with completing the exam versus the time they were alloted to complete it. Takera nodded as to concure with the statement and turned back to the tile pathway continuing to walk forward. " They must be enjoying the chance to relax while they wait on us." Takera said with a slight smirk thinking about Sorain and Meitsu just relaxing. His mind began to wonder for a few moments as he continued forward and he imagined the two of them in swimming gear/clothing just relaxing on a beach. Shortly into his temperary absence of mind, he snapped out of it remembering how Sorain was and pondered if Sorain could even honestly relax on a beach somewhere. It almost always seemed as though trouble followed him or he was creating some kind of trouble, so for the most part relaxation didn't seem like something that would come easily. Takera crossed his arms as they moved forward still considering what was ahead of them. At that point he got the feeling again he had gotten not too long ago. Something was up. Could it even be possible for someone to watch them and not be seen themselves? He shrugged it off once more and kept his steady pace when Hatari spoke up once again. He had asked Takera straight out if he was an invader. Takera wasn't all that surprised, but it was interesting to hear him ask after so long. Takera didn't answer immediately as it seemed he was only pausing before extending his question with an explaination for his asking and a statement of how Takera could turn and betray him once more. " If I were really out to get you then I'd have just plain left you in that pit back then when I had the option to walk away and continue the test with Rizu and the girl. I've been an ally the entire time. I knew once I landed in here with you all that Rizu was who I believed him to be and knowing that, I'd have never agreed to this if I were an invader, as I'd be signing my own death warrant." Takera explained as he peered towards their destination. They were now merely a good 10 or so feet from the final area. He listened for Hatari's response, but picked up his pace in an attempt to reach that final point. As he got closer, the two who got their originally could hear the footsteps of two people in the distance if they listened for it. Takera could now make out what looked like Sorain and beside him was Meitsu who had a flustered look as though embarrassed almost. He raised a brow and his mind began to wander again about the possible things that could've happened. His facial expression turned from curiousity to a surprised look. [ 'o.o' ] " Hey, we're back." Takera spoke out to Sorain and Meitsu as he was now only a good 5 feet from the two. He stopped two steps after speaking and looked past Meitsu and to Sorain. He then noticed the vials and waited to see which one was his before he picked his vial up. He kinda got a look of confusion on his face as though he'd kinda been disturbed by the thought of what the vials possibly asked of him, but he noticed an empty vial, probably belonging to one of the two laying in the open nearby. " So, what's the deal here? Are we done or..? .. and what's with these vials. Are we suppose to drink them? I mean, that seems a bit obvious, but better to ask than to assume." he questioned Sorain casually. Within moments of your most reactions within your teams, each shinobi will find themselves no longer capable of moving as the poison finally takes hold of your body. In only five seconds you will find yourself gagging and falling to the ground with a terrible cold sweat. For those who drank the potion, you will find yourself recovering moments later as though just a passing phase, however those who didn't will soon find themselves in excruciating pain and soon blackout. Proctors will enter the tunnel within a few minutes to escort the survivors out and take the unconscious back to the village.
