Without a thought- quite literally- her fist had slammed into the side of his face from the sheer shock of it all. Her body had been conditioned to react immediately when faced with shock, as it was always better to act, rather than to freeze. Of course, Dietrich would be more than happy to disagree with the notion, seeing as her fist was ringing with pain and the sound of her hand slamming into his cheek still rang in her ears. This? Or should I just copy paste the whole post?
