Okay, that took forever, but it was worth it! Three players have intros in this last post: SirBayer, lily564a, and Jikial. I think I spelled all those right. Also, AP totals have been updated! Rejoice. I will not reveal the reasons for it, except for things that are especially deserving of an award, and those are not replicable. Alright, sweet deal, y'all.

Don't worry, Shaula; the mishap with not finding the gun was merely Siber's failure to be a good GM razz In fact, the gun fell into the front of the man's pants, which were loose-fitting sweatpants, and Lexi was likely unwilling to search them, or at least that part of them, on a still-warm body. Does that work? ^_^
To everyone: there will be no more significant GM intervention unless it is absolutely called for except in lily's case until everyone has settled in for the night. Normally, I would not say something like this so blatantly, but failing to in the past has led to a lot of fractioning we have learned is much harder to deal with than avoid. No one feel rushed; this is merely an FYI.
Blackbird and Jokerman, you may assume the attacker and his raticate remain KO'ed for sufficient time to deal with him how you wish, unless you were planning on hours-long torture or disposal methods.
Optimally, dawn will break by Thursday at the latest, and Friday at the "eloi, eloi, lama sabachthani?" flavor of "latest."

Okay so I have some interesting news.
I've been called upon to go on a research boat for a few days (should be back by Friday night or sometime Saturday AT LATEST....if they don't change the plan on me....again....). I thought I'd have internet but it seems that I don't have that luxury. I'm sorry - science calls to me and I must answer.

Siber has brought it to my attention (I imagine he figured privately for my convenience, so I feel no shame in bringing it into public view) that he feels I may be overplaying Paul's ridiculous awesomeness, indeed giving him powers a fair character ought not to have. If this is a concern of other players, do not hesitate to let me know; I have ridden a bit of a wave of "oh goodness the things I did last time were pretty rad" and just assumed, on some subconscious level, that these deeds would be somehow remembered, cosmically, for this reboot.
Well, if that's your fear, don't fear it. If Paul has strengths, he has weaknesses; if he has exploits, it shall be because he earned them. I like to think I'm a bit too good to play a Gary Stu, and Paul is definitely too good of a character to be played as one. If there's an illness, it'll be cured.
If nobody was concerned about it, or if it hadn't grabbed your attention, well. I guess I have a nice, clean slate to make a beautiful impression upon, now don't I?

@Bayer: There was certainly no need for public apology/warning/etc.; we merely noted a few key words that raised a slight worry. Fear not, your aptness to massively godmode alongside Jokerman have ebbed significantly in the time I've known your RP skills ~_^
@Isa: DO ALL THE SCIENCE. IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE.
@everyone: I do not have time at this moment to update, but I did just read through all of your updates and beheld such glory as would have made mine eyes weep had I a heart. Oh my goodness, I love this RP ^__^
Also, we have a new member whose username I have forgotten momentarily but whose character will be the young'n Aaron Cummings. Please issue him a warm welcome; I look forward to his blinding us anew with the blaze of his still-glowing cinder.

As for Bayer/Paul: I'm not terribly worried about it. I've always seen him as the overly (and overtly) paranoid planner-militant. Not necessarily mister badass.
Because we all know who Stetson Schraeder REALLY is, amirite?

Well, there's always Ramsden. @Blackbird/Joe: WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK HE IS?! (not that I should encourage that >_>) Also @Blackbird: Well, that's quite accurate and quite kind of you. Also Jikail. He does have a touch of the crazy, but mostly of the crazy awesome flavor.

Honestly, Jikial, I'm not quite sure where to go from here. I could just say "Paul didn't wake up and Zoidberg left her alone because she doesn't like him," but that seems pointless and excessively curt. So I'mma wait for Siber to move us along.

That aside, Terrian is perfectly human! I think. I mean, definitions of "human," of "insane," you know... and please, please, people, do not make extra efforts to insanify your characters; too much crazy just leads to a big ol' schizo-fest. We already have Ramsden, Alyssa, and potentially Aaron, apparently, along with baseline Pauline and Stetsonian inhumanity razz
Anyway, update will be coming later today; see y'all then.
