Muka saw Aislin come out of the maze and giggled loudly with a wave. She seemed to have some spoils from within and it only made him more excited to go.
He'd told Syb that he would watch her things but he wanted to go in soooooo badly! He emptied his pockets of the spookies and sat his Nyan-Cats next to them with the patchwork girl's things. If she came out she would see his belongings and know he'd gone in as well.

"I'm back!" Syb whispered, appearing next to Muka. "I got things!" she added proudly, showing them. "But you can go in now, I'll watch the stuff this time," she added as she sat down and started going through the bag of things he had been watching for her, putting them back in her pockets. "Be careful about getting bit," she added with a nod.

"Wonderful! Aislin got the same one.. I hope I get one too!" The feather with a fang on it was something he hadn't seen before. He gave her a quick hug and giggle before the strix jostled his wings and did a little hop as he walked into the maze.

The first thing he came upon was a nest. "Ooh!" He giggled, excited. He peered around for some chicks or eggs or something but to the naked eye there was nothing to be found.
He rolled up his sleeve very carefully and reached in to see what he could snag. The twigs of the nest were sharp and he was glad to have rolled up his sleeves. He didn't want to snag the fabric!
After a bit of jostling he pulled out a feather with a claw attached. "Huzzah!" He whispered it, as low as he could, so as to follow the rules about being quiet.
His head bobbed around, curious as to what else he could find in this maze!

Muka's long strides took him around the maze rather swiftly but it was a bit confusing. He craned his neck and tried to use his height to look over the wall. He didn't want to cheat really but it didn't matter much. They were way too high to see over!

Willow after having moved from the human studies booth stopped at the minipet training booth to read the rules. Her tail flickered as her eyes followed the instructions down the list until she felt sure she knew what to do.
Seeing Syb she walked over with a smile, "Oh hey." Her tail flickered as she picked out all her stuff that might be considered food and sat it on the ground making sure the bag of spookies was tied tight. "Yaus will you guard these? When I get back if nothing's missing I'll let you have another treat." She smiled as the mouse nodded.
"So is Muka already in the maze?" She asked curiously wondering how long it takes to get through the maze.

Just as Muka turned a corner something jumped out at him. It was a blur but there was a snarl and snapping teeth and the strix boy made the quickest decision he could.
HE RAN! His legs took him quickly away. Was it chasing him? he couldn't hear it anymore. Where was he now?! Oh sheesh. He hoped he hadn't gotten lost.

Ulmuka sighed when he looked down and realized he was standing ankle deep in a pool of water. It was the first time he'd frowned on his trip, his happy grin literally turning upside down in a scowl. He felt alright frowning as long as no one else saw it.
His beautiful white shoes! His socks!
He shook off his feet and sighed. He took a minute to preen himself in his reflection and soon his smile was back. Perhaps he would try and work his way back to the entrance. Maybe he'd find something along the way!

HA! He would not be fooled this time! The pool of water in front of him was danced around. His feet no more damp than they were before.
What was with all the water everywhere? He crouched, sniffing it slightly, but could not deduce it's purpose. Perhaps the minipets drank it or bathed in it?
The strix continued on his way, starting to become impatient with the maze.

Another corner was turned and MORE TEETH AND CHASING!
Was it the same beast as before or were their many of them lurking in the corners of the maze? Birds weren't as good on their feet as they were in the air and Muka let out an agitated squeak as he was pursued by what he could only assume was a rabid beast!

He panted as he finally stopped running. As he held his knees, bending over, he realized he was staring back into the mess of twigs that was a nest.
Muka cast a glance from side to side. Was there an angry minipet waiting to ambush and attack him? With not even a breeze moving the grass around him he felt safe enough to reach into the nest to see what else he could find.
He pulled out a ribbon and tilted his head, puzzling at it. He tucked it away with the feather-claw combination and headed to the exit.

Aislin had given the Strix a brief wave as he headed into the maze, then gave the patchwork girl a wave as she came out. They must have been in there at the same time! Aislin stood outside for a bit to see if her friend would come out and chat with her a bit. He seemed pre-occupied with... something. Oh well. With a shrug she stepped off, heading out to explore more of the Open House.

Muka emerged clutching a ribbon and the feather-claw combo. He sniffed the air around them slightly and then gave a satisfied nod. "Look what I got Syb!"
"Thank you! I enjoyed the maze except for rabid minipets chasing me." It was directed at the shirtless professor and followed by an erratic giggle.

Willow watched Muka exit. There must've been a lot, "Rabid?" She blinked looking at Muka before laughing and shaking her head, "I bet they're not rabid."
She headed into the maze with a grin and hummed. "I'll be back in a shake of a tail." Grated Willow didn't even know how long that tail shake would be.

Willow looked at the nest she had ran into it had something in it, she reached in carefully before she realized there was something on those items. "Oh gross..." She muttered pulling out something from the nest.
