Grinning, he ran and leaped, splashing into the water shortly. His head broke the surface and he looked at her laughing lightly. "It really is nice!" Paddling, he swam back towards her till his feet touched the bottom and he could stand. "Twilight... I want you to know.. that this has been the best picnic I've had with some one outside of my family..." Reaching over, he gave her a light peck on the cheek.

“Oh,” Twilight said is surprise. She was still unused to any kind of affection in her life. “I had had no idea that the day would be so exciting and fun. I glad you’ve enjoyed yourself and hope that next time we have just as much fun. I was wondering if you would like to sometime go stargazing?”

"Star gazing?" He pondered this for a moment before finally nodding with a warm smile. "That sounds just wonderful. Perhaps maybe tomorrow night? That is unless you have some where else you need to be.." He didn't want to seem like he was trying to monopolize her time all to himself after all. What might she thing of him if he had tried to do that?

He couldn't help the smile that spread across his maw. "What time should I be here then? Also.. is there anything I might need to bring? Snacks, blanket...." Candles.. he thought but the rakish thoughts caused him to flush scarlet.

Hmm well I’ll bring the blanket and the celery roots that you have a great fondness for. You’re Welcome to bring any types of food and candles-though it might be best to keep them away from my little telescope. It might be very romantic to have a picnic under the night sky…very romantic,” Twilight said as she wiggled closer and leaned her head on Abisen.

Abisen blinked and gave a small start at her leaning her head on him, but soon he relaxed and leaned his head against hers. He couldn't have been happier about her being so close. "Well.. I had hoped to make it a special night of sorts.." He smiled fondly at her though she couldn't see it.

Twilight sighed in contentment. It was so nice simply touching another noodle and she had been alone for such a long time. “ hmm.. You fur is so very soft,” Twilight hummed in delight as she snuggled against Abisen fur. “You smell a bit earth and fruity, “Twilight inhaled his personal scent as she buried her nose against Abisen’s neck.

His eyes widened as she buried his nose in the fur on his neck. A nervous chuckle accompanied his words as her spoke. "I ah... never thought I'd smell like fruit.. heheh" Still, he allowed himself to relax against her. He took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, she smelled... like grass and spring night air. it was a pleasant scent, one unique to her alone.

“Fruit is a very pleasant and yummy smell,” Twilight thought a moment; “I’d say you smell precisely like strawberries. Plus strawberries are a beautiful pink color just like you,” Twilight smiled shyly as she snuggled against Abisen.

He chuckled lightly. "I ah.. well.." He fumbled with his words some. " You remind me of spring grass and the breeze on a warm spring evening." He blurted out. Just having her snuggling next to him was sending his senses all a tingle. Turning his head, he looked at her and leaned down his head, nuzzling the top of hers' gently in an affectionate manner.

“I’ll look forward to seeing you tomorrow, “Twilight cuddled against Abisen’s soft pink fur. She softly gave Abisen a quick kiss on his nose and hurried down the road towards her home. She was really longing for tomorrow to quickly pass and many new adventures with Abisen.

Abisen looked after her with a wistful look for a moment. His heart had jumped into his chest without him realizing it. Swallowing hard, he waited for the ringing of his pulse in his ears to settle before turning and leaving for his own burrow.. and perhaps to relate to his brother his latest good fortune.

Twilight had wonderful dreams and woke up feeling refreshed and excited to see Abisen. She hummed as she prepared food for the night picnic and found big blankets that she dragged out and placed on rocks hoping to air them out. Twilight smiled as she worked happy to no longer be alone.

He'd slept in late after discussing things with his brother. He wanted at some point for Libi and Twilight to meet.. so his family knew he wasn't being foolish, not that they had showed such concerns. He stepped out of his home and walked down the path, a bit of a dance in his step as he made his way towards where he and twilight had agreed to meet once more. With him, he carried a small bundle. A few snacks to add to what ever she might bring with her. After all, he wanted to make a better impression today.. work things to a smoother edge.
