The Mystery Demon's ship pulls away, leaving you alone in the water. You dawdle for a while, certain that as soon as you try to make your way back out to the open sea, another ship will attack you, but it seems the pirates around here have lost interest in you.
Giving your trusty cannons a pat, you turn your boat away from land and steer toward adventure. And better writing.
