When he bathed? The question was so random, the male actually stopped and let out a quick bark of laughter. Leaping over the log as well, he tried to think. When he stepped into a river his paws went in first, and his underbelly got wet second… But what he actually spent time on was, “My face. Then shoulders and on down.”
His second question was going to be another repeat, but something she had said changed his mind. “Why do you think you will be a bad mommy?” He asked softly. She seemed sweet and caring and, unless she had a secret, murderous, darkside, he couldn’t imagine her being a worse parent than he was. And, as his kit survived into adulthood and still liked him, he couldn’t be that bad…right?

Oh! He laughed! A grin of delight touched her face, tail wagging. Then she giggled more when he actually answered the question. Oh, well, he was willing to be silly~ Cute! Her eyes widened when he asked his question, nodding.
"I'm a little bit...." She paused, sighing. "I like attention, or so I'm told. I would probably smother my kids with love and whine when they paid attention to something else. It would probably annoy them beyond belief..."

Akito shook his head. "Kits need love. And lots of it. Besides, if they go off and do something, go to your mate and annoy him until he pays you attention. And if he doesn't," Akito grinned, "sit on him. That way you're at least spending time together while the kits are off being kit-like."
Akito shrugged. He was as hands off a parent as he knew. His kit liked him well enough. The thought came to him that between his hands off approach and her hands-on approach, they could probably make some pretty mentally stable kits. Akito chuckled to himself. Wouldn't the tribe be proud.

Blushing, the vixen looked up, stopped, and kissed his cheek. "You're a good guy, you know that?" She cooed, smiling widely at him before hopping ahead. "This looks like the place! Well, we need to walk just a taddddd more. If you see him and he is your brother what will you say?" She asked softly, head tilting.
She was hoping he was, she'd be happy to have helped. What she hoped the most would be that the two got along..

Akito blinked. He was? He was just trying to be honest. The kiss came as a surprise and the male froze for a few seconds. Was he supposed to kiss her back? Comment? Ignore it? Well, she hopped off before he could make a decision, and figured she had just made it for him. Akito shrugged and followed after Lorelz, catching up to her.
"What will I say? I don't know. Maybe 'Hi Trocar. Mom's been worried about you'?" Akito asked more than stated.

She laughed gently, tail wagging side to side. "Won't you be happy to see him?" She asked, head tilting back to look at him. She heard a sound in the distance, a female voice yelling something, her head tilting.
The voice clearly was young, though how young she couldn't tell. Younger than her, that was for sure. Padding ahead quicker, she glanced back to make sure Akito was still with her before continuing on.

Akito shrugged. "I don't know. He's almost a stranger to me. I suppose I'd be happy that he's alive but...I think I'd be more emotional about it if I had lost Aegle or you and the found you again." He said slowly, trying to explain when he didn't really know how to put it.
He heard the sound up ahead too and wondered who else was around. A vixen wasn't too much of a threat, they were usually pretty friendly.

Looking up at the male, a light blush touched her cheeks, voice gone silent for a second, for once in her life.
"M-Me?" She stopped walking, turning to look at him with a flick of her tail gently. "I'm special?" She asked softly, blush brightening even more. "You'd be upset if I vanished?"
She almost went to lick the males cheek, though didn't. He really would be upset if she vanished? Eep!

Akito shrugged and tried to ignore how cute Lorelz looked when she was blushing. The male didn't know why he was thinking like that. He never thought like that. "I...well...yes." Akito replied, tail twitching with a nervous movement. "I have officially spent more time with you than my brother, and I believe I would be...." Akito paused, looking for the right word. "Lonely?"
He looked at Lorelz and frowned. "You talk a lot. I think I would miss that." Akito told her. Realizing that his statement could very easily be taken as an insult, the male laughed softly. "I meant that as a compliment." He said, his right ear folding down self-consciously.

Peering at Akito, she almost pouted when he said she spoke a lot, however a smile formed on her mouth when he fixed his statement, her little tail wagging a mile a minute.
"Well, that's a new one. I rarely hear that as a compliment.". Winking at the male, her eyes flicked to the sky, ear flicking briefly as a bird let out a shrill cry. "I'm a little jealous you have siblings. Can I steal some?"

Akito looked down at her and riased an eyebrow. "Why not? Do most foxes not like talking to you?" He asked, completely confused. She seemed nice to him, why wouldn't other foxes like talking to her?
"You can have my sister, she's a bit of a busy body." Akito said, smiling a little. "And then there's the four half siblings wandering around. You could probably steal one of them." He looked up when the bird shrieked before turning back to Lorelz. "Is he close?"

"Mmm. I talk a lot, Edward often says it's bad for me or that I should stop and listen to others sometime." She shrugged gently, ear flicking as her eyes flicked to glance at the male. "But I finally found someone who doesn't mind! Though, I do like listening to you speak, too."
Her tail flicked lazily, head tilting to the side. "Alright. Next time I see one of your siblings I'll just tell them their mine." With this, she nodded to confirm the statement. Her body jerked to the side as a loud shriek broke the silence, pressing into the earth gently. Ugh! Birds! Damn birds! At the question her head turned, nodding.
"The lake I saw him at is right up ahead. He should be near that."

Akito frowned at his female companion. This was the se ond time she had reacted so badly to the chirping. "Are you...okay?" He asked, concerned from the strong reactions. He wasn't one to pry, usually anyway, but Lorelz seemed to be bringing a dicferent side of him out. Moving fast, Akito stepped in front of Lorelz.
"Forget the lake. Are you hurt somehow?" Akito nearly demanded, frowning down at the starry female.

"I just never liked when birds made loud noises." Flicking her tail, she frowned briefly, then focused on what was before her. When had he moved in-front of her? Blinking, his words caught her off-guard, almost crying out in response. Forget the lake? Wait! No... viewing herself she paused in her thoughts. He was worried about her? Oh. Offering a hesitant yet warm smile, she made a show of scanning herself to assure him.
"Oh! No, I'm okay. Thank you. I just don't like when the birds let out noises so quickly and without warning." Twitching briefly, she considered her options. Padding closer to him, the vixen rubbed her cheek against his, smiling wide.
"See? I'm okay! Now, let's get you to the lake, eh?"

Akito pressed back against her nuzzle with one of his own before perusing the female one last time. Akito noded and backed out of her way. "Alright, let's get to the lake." they couldn't be too far, Akito could scent water on the breeze.
The male thought about what it would be like to meet his brother again. In all likelihood his brother wouldn't even remember him. Hell, Akito could barely remember his brother. He knew the other male would be predominantly white; Akito was the only one who took after his mother's dark base coat. Personality wise, though, Akito had no idea. Was his brother going to be more like Akito and their father? Or more like Aegle and their mother? Well...they'd find out soon enough.
