Saikoro shrugged his shoulders, "That's fine wit me then." He said simply, his head turning to stare off into the orange sky. It would be night soon at the rate the sun was dropping from the sky but that wouldn't be such a bad thing, it just meant that the second exam would have to end soon. He was curious as to how Kyu, Hibiki and Kira had managed to do in their first to tests, knowing the group they probably all passed with flying scores. Shaking his head of the thoughts, Saikoro only lazily glanced towards Musica as he blurred out of existence while Saikoro himself bent over to address Zagula, "Give me a second, this shouldn't last too long~" He hummed softly as Musica's punch simply soared through the empty space above his body, himself straightening back up to match the pace so he could use his back to hit the kid's hip and cause him to fall to the ground. "So, whenever you are ready, we can begin."

Musica tucked his head in and rolled the moment he made contact with the ground, only rising when he was five feet away from Saikoro. Of course it wouldn't work. He thought, replaying the scene in his head. Musica stood, analyzing his partner's stance. He waits until the last second before he counters, He thought, replaying the moment he was throwing. Learning to fight like that would be a decent advantage. But, that's his way of fighting. Musica smirked and flashbacked to when he disappeared. I have my way, too.

Musica closed his eyes and took a deep breath of air and held it for two seconds, before slowly releasing it. The boy ran forward at Saikoro, disappearing in a blur of motion yet again. And, like last time, Musica reappeared behind the man, throwing a straight punch at the back of his head. This time, however, the punch was a feint and his disappeared right at the last second, the only trace that he had been there was a circle of dust and a small amount of fire. There was a slight disruption in the air as Musica reappeared again, this time up by Saikoro's head, sending a round house kick right to his partner's face. The air around Musica flared as the temperature spiked as he kicked. Right when the boy thought he had Saikoro's full attention, he disappeared again just to suddenly reappear in front of his opponent, rising from a crouch, firing an uppercut right to his partner's jaw.

Saikoro tilted his had slightly to the side to look at Musica from the corner of his eye as the boy rolled across the ground and quickly got back up to regain his composure. 'Quick recovery.. ok reaction time... A hand spring would have stabilized him sooner though and given room to avoid a counter assault.' The man evaluated in his mind calmly, his body stance still nonchalant even though the boy was obviously about to attack yet again. With a sigh, Saikoro shoved his right hand into his pocket and pulled his left hand to his face to push a few stray strands of hair from his eyes to behind his hair, his eye closing gently as he did.

A small grin spread across the man's lips as he relaxed his neck from the tilt, letting the boy out of his sights as he began his attack. He wouldn't come straight at him, he had already proved that from all his other attacks... 'From behind again.' The man chimed in his mind as the boy blurred from sight and appeared from behind yet again, his attack being a straight feint that Saikoro simply leaned to the side to avoid. But as the feint was revealed, he quick threw his raised hand out to the side where the next would come from, where else but the place he had been forced to move to.... and just as he had expected the form of Musica appeared with a roundhouse kick, but it was once again another feint.

A grunt came out of Saikoro's lips, the form of Musica's body once again disappearing in what seemed to be a freeze frame for the man. His body was for the majority of a tilt, the smartest attacks would be towards the direction his body was moving at an upwards angle from the ground. The preference would be for his hip, knee or kidneys... The next best places would be straight, direct attacks from either his front or back but that would be to foreword and leave the attacker open. It would be better to attack from a lower or higher stance, definitely not too close to the side where his hand was still pocketed and capable of reacting from a relaxed position. The best reactions was to drop and spin at once to bring his elbow crushing down on any attack aimed at his opening, his hand still raised for a protection for his head, he would need to bring his hand out of his pocket though to prevent it from being stuck and a liability. The other choice was to kick away to all together create a bigger opening in his defense but instantly move him out of any immediate attacks aimed at him, his recovery time was faster then the boy's reaction time so it would be fine. But the best reaction...

The man continued to let his body to arch towards his shift, his right foot crossing behind his left so by leaning his body weight into the shift his entire body tilted over as though to fall over. His body rolled to the side and his left leg arched up and over to make a backwards sweep of everything from behind and in front of his as he spun quickly to regain his balance. If Musica wasn't fast enough to react he would simply get caught up and tossed to the side by the man's strange kick.

Musica's eyes widened as Saikoro's foot arced it's way at him, adrenaline making every thing move as if underwater. Wait, I can follow it. He thought, sending the order to his arms to cover his face. I can block it. Musica had just enough time to think that before the kick landed flat on his chest. The boy flew back, the adrenaline making his fall go in super slow motion. Guess not. Musica smirked and landed on an out-stretched hand, springing himself back up, using a twist of his wrist to allow him to face Saikoro.

"That was interesting," Musica commented, a wide grin spread over his face. The rush, the speed at which everythig moved. It was all very. . . . "Exhilarating." He flexed his arm, checking his wrist and making sure everything was in working order. Nothing popped or cracked, which Musica assumed to be a good thing. "So, Snake-Eyes." The boy called, looking up from his wrist to Saikoro, his smile still plastered on his face. "Any questions, comments, or concerns? Any and all would be appreciated~"

Saikoro chuckled softly as he brought his leg back down to the ground and stood up straight once again, his arms crossing over his chest as he did so. "You're very fast to recover and that's great. Your reaction time however is a bit slow at times and your attacks can be predicted by the majority of fighters as just about everyone will have some form of martial arts training... and more so fighting experience." The man said in his soft velvet voice, his foot moving to take a single step but by the time it had landed on the floor his entire body was directly in front of the boy as his other leg was raising up to slam it's knee into his face into his face, his closest hand gripping the back of his head and hair to pull him towards the attack.

But the attack never landed as Saikoro spun up and over the boy's shoulder and simply shoved him roughly foreword. Landing easily back on the ground gently, Saikoro turned to look at the boy once again to finish his instructions, "To cure being predictable there are two things... To increase your skill where it truly doesn't matter if you can see what I'm going to do next because you can't stop it. Or to become unorthodox in how you fight... and in some sense dirty." He said simply before dropping down into a crouch and then a sit with both his hands stretched behind him to prop him up. "The eyes, nose, ears, neck, armpits, genitals... It's all great places to aim your strikes during a fight if you can. We're shinobi, our fights boil down to life and death situations a lot and its rather silly to die because you refused to break some moral code. Also attacking from the least expected areas, creating a pattern of attacks and then suddenly breaking it, constant attacks that almost random but have a methodical reasoning to them to get an advantage. These are things that will get you the upper hand in battles, specially against opponents stronger then you."

Hibiki felt his body floating as he stirred slightly. His eyes were unable to open as he moved his head from side to side. He now felt a burning sensation throughout his whole body as it replaced the floating feeling. The pain he was feeling felt familiar, but how? His eyes finally fluttered open gingerly as light stung at his pupils. There was some noise about, but he couldn't focus on any of it, it sounded like a low hum. His eyes weren't adjusting well either, everything was a bright blur, or a dark blur as the Medic Nin would walk by.

Finally, his brain began to piece together what happened, or rather, how he got here. I was in that damn tunnel with Kuro, Kira, and that Wind Babe...what was her name...Oh ya! Oasis. Anyways, we got over the pit with very minimal effort, Kira was the only one that got hurt, and it was just a flesh wound. The panels were also very tricky, the only reason we got past that was due to Oasis' pure determination. Those Sand Shinobi are pretty good folks after all...

But then.
His thoughts cut off as his eyes finally adjusted to the surrounding scenery. He was in a smaller type of hospital, probably some sort of Medical tent. It had various beds with a variety of Shinobi either passed out, recovering, or waiting to be signed out. Kumo Medical Nin were also pacing around, making sure everyone was fine. Then, after the horrible panel trick, we finally got to the room. Kuro passed out first as Oasis made the quick decision to send me in. We didn't have enough time as the toxins finally began to get to us. And that's how we ended up here...

His ears finally were able to distinguish the noise around him. There were beeps and bloops coming from some machines with the sounds of a variety of conversation. A snarl made it's way on Hibiki's face, "Speaking of Kuro." He spoke loudly, "Where the hell is my Kuro?!"

Now back in the village of Gryu’jiong, Hatari began to stretch in a standing upward position as a sharp pain ran up from his leg and into his left side as his ankle was beginning to bother him once more. He sighed momentarily just before reaching down and rubbing his ankle in hopes of soothing it's pain. the time spent running with Takera made his twisted ankle even more swollen than it had already been; however, they at that point in time needed to run for the time limit was almost up. In fact they made it just in time to see it to the finish line. If it wasn't for him I would have got a better placement score...I suppose it's okay seeing as I'm currently in fourth place. I've got to kick a** in the combat section of the Exams in order to make it to Chuunin though...Now that I've accomplished unlocking the Mangekyou Sharingan I shouldn't have a problem with people getting in the way of things. Hatari smiled gently as he looked around and found a sign that stated that registered students for the Exams could pick up free items with their exam Identification numbers. "Hmm I didn't see that when I first came here...I wonder if I had missed it on the way in... oh well I'm going to enjoy getting nice new items for myself, yes indeed! Limping his was from the left side of the village and onto the right he finally got to what appeared to be a local shop with the same exact sign stating that all participants of the chuunin exams could no doubt obtain a free item pack with the confirmation of their Registration Identification Cards. As he continued into the store he was greeted by a lovely woman, her name tag read Hieso. She was a red headed woman in which was just about as tall as he was with a decent amount of bust to her chest, she was on average one hundred and thirty pounds in weight as he looked at her he couldn't help but blush with the sense of lust in his eyes. "h..Hi Hieso, I'm currently a participant of the Chuunin exams and I was wondering if the signs I read were indeed true, about the free item set given out to those with a Registration Identification Card." Heiso smiled and promptly bounced up before landing on her feet once more, this making her breast bounce due to the force as Hatari tried not to get a nose bleed. "Oh goody we have another one Sensie Kota! And yes we are indeed giving out free item packs for those who are participating within this years Exams, please follow me and we'll get you you're free items in no time!" Kota a much older looking male spoke out as he encountered Hatari at the front desk. "Ah so you're another contestant of the Exams huh, interesting these Exams are this year wouldn't you agree young man. Now if you'd please show me your Registration Identification Card I'd be happy to give you anything you'd like." with that being heard Hatari simply pulled out a Card from his pocket and showed the man his Identification Card, and Kota smirked and tapped the Identification card on the counter. "Heiso if you'd be so kind to bring in the following items I'd sure appreciate it. A pack of Kunai, Shuriken, Smoke bombs, Soldier pills, a Med kit, and not but least some tracking tags, thank you my lovely apprentice. She'll be here in a moment if you'd like you could start looking around at the special offers we have here." Hatari nodded to Kota just before limping away, he found many items; for instance, summoning scrolls, vials of unknown liquids and even Jutsu scrolls; however none of these seemed to fit his personality nor his style at the moment. Heiso appeared from the back room and gently smiled towards Hatari before speaking up to Kota her sensei. "Well I think I've got everything here Sensei-Kota it's a lot; however, I bet the participants are loving the free give away." Hatari couldn't stop staring at Heiso's large breast as they clung together due to her holding all of the items in which Kota had asked for, not to mention she wore a V-neck top which showed the tops of her breasts as little red dimples showed due to being exposed. with a quick reaction Hatari quickly squeezed his nose in the sense to stop the blood from pouring out. "Eh.... hehe, Heiso t-thank you for e-very thing, I appreciate it. you could just set them down upon the counter, for to be honest I just wanted the ryo from selling them, I'll even put them back if you'd like me to. Heiso looked at Hatari as she cocked her neck to the side in question about why he had held onto his nose, but then soon realized the state in which her giant breast were in and blushed deeply with a big smile. "oh come on now Hatari, they're not that big, besides haven't you seen breasts this big before?" Hatari choked on the words that were just spoken as he quickly couldn't help blush a bright red. "Eh, well no... I'm sorry for staring like a pervert... I guess all this Exam stuff has made me think less about the usual stuff and more about combat...however you are quite beautiful." Kato laughed as the two young ones talked as if they were in gradeschool still. "Okay, that's enough before you make me laugh all the way to the bathroom, Heiso you really should wear more appropriate clothes; however, I myself don't mind seeing a young womans bust so I allow it... call me an old dog if you must but I love the way she's got dimples on the tops of her breast Haha!" Heiso's face turned red just before turning around and took the pack of tracking tags and slapped him across the face. "That's enough Sensei-Kato.....grrr... you don't have to be a perverted old fart about how my breasts look like. and I'm flattered Hatari here is so polite about it, he's rather an interesting type of guy to be honest. oh and Hatari we'll just leave these on the counter for someone else, you may get your ryo once the old guy here stops crying due to the b***h slap I just gave him. We should have ramen sometime!" Hatari almost collapsed as he watched Kato get smacked seriously hard upside the face as Heiso demanded him be more proper, He sighed momentarily and soon spoke in a polite manner. "That actually seems like a great Idea Heiso, if you'd like I could give you my address and you could stop by sometime and I'd be willing to take you out for ramen, my treat of course." Heiso smiled and gently winked at Hatari as Kato got the amount of ryo ready and put it within a pouch thus sliding it over upon the counter over to Hatari. "Enjoy the day young man, oh by the way good luck in the Exams, I saw that you placed fourth so far, we'll be rooting for you to get first place indeed!" Hatari took note that he was in fourth place currently and couldn't help but smirk with pleasure. "Yeah I know, I'm looking forward to showing off my abilities within the Ring in a couple of days." Heiso couldn't help but lean over and give Hatari a kiss on the cheek as they both blushed deeply. "Make them bitches wish they never took you on as an opponent cutie pie! and we'll be talking soon I promise!" and with that Hatari left the shop in his usual limp walk way.

Kyu sat at a barbecue bar in the middle of Gry'jiong, with his face planted against the mahogany bar counter. Pain shot through his head like electricity, and his body felt more sickly than it had ever been. As the babeque chef walked over with his order, Kyu's limp blue hand fumbled into his pocket, and retrieved a plastic card. He handed it to the owner, and sat up, peeling his pale face from the wood.

"Just charge the order; I really don't feel like counting at the moment." Kyu said, looking down at the hickory-sauce slathered boneless ribs in front of him. He hadn't eaten since he was at the bar in Earth Country; and even then, he didn't have a whole lot before things got out of hand there. Hell, he didn't even get the pair of drinks he ordered at the bar in Rain Country either.

But for now, Kyu had to eat something. Kyu picked up his plain metal fork, and stabbed a rib with it. He brought the chunk to his mouth, and slipped it in. Kyu's thick brows lowered, and he stared at the plate. Fork still between his teeth, he grumbled, "Fuggn' poyshun eben epphs up by dastebuds." Kyu made a flipping-the-table gesture in disgust. He probably would do it for real if it weren't for the fact that he sat at a bar, and not at an actual table. The manager returned with Kyuzaku's card, eliciting a false smile from the ninja. After the man turned his back, Kyu's reverted to angry chewing and reluctant swallowin.

Kyu swallowed the beef chunk, and disdainfully ate another. He did his best to ignore the disgusting effect that the poison took on his taste receptors, opting to get some nutrition instead. Kyu only finished half of his dish before putting his head down against the table again, "That guy is going to pay for this; I swear..."

Saikoro yawned softly as he let his hands run through his hair softly, his eyes moving pass Musica to look towards the large amount of proctors that began to walk out of the hut that had been the site for the first exam. Amongst them was a large amount of unconscious genin, most of which were cringing in pain even through their current state, and a few that were standing on their own perfectly fine. The crowd wasted no time to disperse to do their own thing, the large portion going towards the hospital tents to care to the unconscious genin.

"Looks like the second exam is now over... I suggest you go find Mei-chan and see how she's doing, Zagula." Saikoro said simply as he turned away from the two and moved back to the legendary sword that he had turned into a back rest. With a simple jerk of his arm, the man easily pulled the weapon free of the ground and with a grandeur swirl over his head, he refashioned it into the holster he had strapped against his back. "As for you Musica, I'd say either go train some more or keep a look out for Kira. I'm going to go check on some of the other guys from our country." He said before walking pass the kid, his hand ruffling his hair as he moved past and on into the crowd itself.

"Well you look like s**t, bud." The velvet voice sounded from behind Kyu.

It had been a few hours after Notwen had been escorted out of the underground cave with the others. In that time he had stopped by a restaurant and had a personal pizza with extra cheese. Having eaten, the crippled Uchiha walked around for a bit and found a park near the northern end of Gryu'jiong. The sun was soon to set and he still needed to find a place to rest, but that was something he could easily compensate for. After looking around for a bit Notwen found a leveled area in the park with very few signs of having people in it and decided to make his camp there. However before he did anything there was one problem he had to deal with: his injured leg.

The dark-skinned blonde tried massaging his ankle for the next few minutes. The constant kneading seemed to help out tremendously, but Notwen still felt an odd discomfort remain. With a sigh he got up slowly and tried walking around in a small circle.
This will have to do for now. he thought, then proceeded to make his makeshift tent. Using his youton creation technique, the crippled Uchiha placed his hand on the ground and made a rectangular wall of lava, which he controlled to make it slant. He repeated the process ten feet away from the other wall and had them join up at the top, creating a small tunnel of sorts. Finally Notwen blocked off one end with more lava, finishing his tent. The crippled Uchiha smiled at his work and was about to go into his tent when he heard the sound of footsteps approaching quickly from behind. Turning around to see who it was, Notwen saw a young boy with red hair and overalls stop with his hands on his to catch his breath.
"Please, sir, you have to help!" said the boy with a hint of desperation in his voice. The dark-skinned blonde walked over to the boy, placing his arm on the red-head's shoulder.
"What's the matter?" he asked. The boy looked into Notwen's hazel eyes with his own brown ones.
"A gang of bad guys keeps attacking my grandpa's store and breaking everything. There's about eight of them. I've been running around all day looking for ninja who could help us out by keeping them away, but they are either feeling too sick or not willing to help at all..." Tears began welling in the boy's eyes, and Notwen could see that they weren't crocodile tears. Even his awareness dome confirmed the kid's intentions. The dark-skinned blonde smiled.
"Don't cry, okay. I know it's tough for you to be powerless to help your grandpa out, but you don't have to worry any longer. I will lend you guys my strength." At this the boy looked up at Notwen with with a surprised expression, then hugged his midsection.
"Thank you!" said the read-head, hugging the crippled Uchiha tighter. "We are forever in your debt!" After the red-head let go Notwen went into his bag and pulled out a traveler's cloak with a hood. Next he unwrapped Novvus and put the cloak on him, attaching chakra strings to the puppet as he worked. After drawing the hood over Novvus' head, Notwen manipulated the puppet to pick up the red-head.
"Which way to your grandfather's shop?" he asked the boy, who pointed south west.
"Near the western edge of the village." The dark-skinned blonde nodded.
"Alright. Hold on tightly." With a wiggle of his fingers, Notwen animated Novvus and began they began the trek to the old man's shop.

Fifteen minutes later they arrived at the shop. It appeared to be some sort of puppet retail store, a fact that the crippled Uchiha found ironic. He made Notwen put down the child, who in turn ran into the store shouting,
"Grandpa! I found some help!" There was the sound of a door opening somewhere inside the store and a tall, skinny, wrinkled man wearing overalls and thick glasses appeared at the door.
"Thank you for answering our call for help young man." he said with a reedy voice. "My grandson Gabriel has been running around all over Gryu'jiong for the past few days looking for help. It's a miracle that you have shown us such kindness." The old man bowed, causing Notwen's cheeks to flush.
"I'm humbled by your words, sir. How may i be of service?" he asked. The old man straightened up, a mischievous grin on his face.
"I was thinking of setting a trap for those punks..." For the next five minutes Notwen and the store owner discussed their plan of action.

Hatsuma left the pit, escorted by the proctors into real daylight once more; the cool wind hit her face a nice alternative to where she had been only moments ago. Down in a pit which had little air flow at all, probably just enough to breathe but that was it. Pushing that thought aside she looked back at the blue one she was teamed with, she had gathered they were both invaders from the start, however fiction didn’t matter to her, only realistic facts, they may not have been allies in reality or in the little game they had just played, but she did understand their reliability, though she might have to think a bit on Notwen, though he followed his role in the game he simply did not opt for a logical solution to the issue, it was easy to understand why given the fact that he poisoned the blue one. He was trustworthy for now until she found a reason not to trust them, and that was something she excelled at finding out. Walking along into the crowd she began seeking out a particular red bob that would be noticeable even if it wasn’t poking out over the crowd. In the worst case she was poisoned due to her naturally trusting state, that and the fact the rules of the game might have eluded her. Whatever it was she was sure she would be fine even while poisoned, after all she had more than enough energy to spare for an entire team of shinobi.
Hatsuma took the opportunity to sit and reflect upon her actions and her test result for the first two portions, it was likely she scored extremely low and would have to make up the points in the final steps of the exams. One thing was certain however, these exams are simply a formality for her as her goals lie on the edge of the shinobi world. Few others know of the world she deals with, the only ones who come close would have to be jinchuuriki as they have a personal connection with demons and those are the creatures she has dealt with for the majority of her life. Though she has only dealt with the spawn of greater demons, it’s only a matter of time before she has to deal with the inevitable re-balancing of powers. Something that happens on rare occasions the last occurrence was during the great shinobi wars. During both wars a power balance was lost and once they had completed her people were tasked with restoring order to the world’s energies. The shinobi world took care of the mental, or rather political aspects of the world and her people dealt with the physical or spiritual aspects of the planet, both work together in harmony in an attempt to keep the world in check through the generations. She sat in a flat plot of grass that was beside the main-through of the city. She got quite a few stares from passerbys as she sat there meditating on her future course of action for the days to come sticking out like a sore thumb for anyone who chose to pass by on this route.

Oasis suddenly sat up bolt straight and clutched at her chest for a moment. It would seem the poison they were using, was cured and was not going to kill them at least. She groaned lightly and flopped back down looking at the ceiling of the tent. So after all that effort they weren't fast enough to get the vials. She felt well and fully inadequate at this point. She rolled to the side and saw a number of other chuunin hopefuls in the tent. She sighed and focused for a few moments to clear the blur from her mind and then she popped to her feet and got off of the bed. She needed to get back out there and maybe get something to eat. Oasis rather quickly made her way away from the tent ignoring the medical shinobi who were buzzing about. She felt well enough that she didn't want to stay around. She looked back for a moment to Hibiki and gave a short wave before leaving.

Oasis walked from the tent and followed the scent of food to a simple vendor who was offering taiyaki, and some delicious teriyaki chiken kebab things. She purchased some of both and went wandering again. She was going to find Hatsuma. She took one of the kebabs and bit off a piece of chicken. Hatsuma wouldn't bee too difficult to find all things considered. For one her friend did stand out in a crowd a bit, and two it was likely she would be somewhere quietly contemplating. Also she had noticed the ability to feel Hatsuma's location from when they were trying to retrieve those swords. She nodded her head and simply followed her gut instinct and found herself walking along the main-through of the city. She paused as she noticed a sort of bottle necking in the crowd where people would obviously slow down for some reason or another and gawk at something before moving on. She figured that meant Hatsuma was there. She slipped out the side of the crowd and walked her way over towards Hatsuma. "Hey... Hatsuma, how did your test go?" she questions as she plopped down beside Hatsuma.

"The score was not adequate, it'll take work to make up the points in the final round..." Hatsuma stated calmly opening her eyes and looking over to Oasis who now sat down beside her. "You look ill, did you breath to much of the toxins in?" She questioned coolly noticing the slight hint of discoloration in Oasis' tone. "I haven't seen any medical shinobi around will you be able to handle this yourself? we should probably go and see what made up the poison so we can safely neutralize it. " She explained calmly getting to her feet and looking around for any officials that over saw the events thus far. No luck, it was likely they were busy getting the next and final event set up.

Oasis sighed lightly "We didn't get to the antidote thingies in time." she states lightly as she held the bag of Taiyaki over to Hatsuma "Want some?" she questions while taking another nib of chicken from the kebab. She sighed again and then rocked back slightly and let out a light groan. "Yea... Oasis will be able to deal with the poisons, don't worry." she states with a light chuckle. She put her hands on her stomach for a moment "The proctors... disabled the poison, so... Oasis just needs to get rid of the remaining after effects." she adds as she took another bite of chicken "So, I figure that you made it to the vials, an got the antidote." She states with a light smile in her expression.
