Aire

"Anuuuueesss" She didn't quite lift her head high enough from the pillow, upon hearing his voice, so her words were somewhat muffled though still coherent enough to understand.
Pushing herself up into a, relatively, upright position, the female Gardevoir turned to stare at her subordinate with a half confused and half AMUSED expression. Her hair was plastered comically to the side of her face, at least hiding her scar for all the good that did.
A low whine arose in her throat upon noting the wine bottles disappearance, even though it was already empty.
She huffed, like an indignant child, and stood with to her feet with a slight wobble; hands randomly grasping at the air as though it'd support her.
"You-" She started and then repeated as the words slurred out the first time. "You're not the boss of me, I'm-I'm...the boss of you." She took a step forward in what she believed to be an intimidating manner, but was really a swaying stomp that nearly sent her falling to the floor on her side. A finger jabbed Anues in the forehead once before she spoke again, "I'M-", whatever she'd planned to say afterward ended abruptly as she leaned forward to far and promptly collided/collapsed with/on the other Gardevoir.

Anues

Aire was mostly ignored as she slowly collected herself up into a sit. She was actually amusing to watch, though he didn't let on. The male merely cocked an eyebrow as she stumbled to her feet and struggled to walk over to him, making no attempt himself to assist her. If she fell, it was her fault. "Technically it's safe to assume I would take over if you're incapable of working." That was a horrible thought but whatever sounded like a threat. His eyes left hers in favor of considering the rest of his response before promptly turning back to the female-- finding her far closer than he had originally expected her to be.
The unprepared Gardevoir gave a startled blink as he was suddenly poked hard enough to leave him slightly disorientated as Aire promptly rocked forward. Having only one arm at his disposal, he took favor in guarding his right from Aire with it before taking the fall back onto the floorboards, mostly managing to sit upright despite the female's weight working against him. He quickly fixed his posture, squirming slightly as he worked his left arm free and pushed back on the female's opposite shoulder to keep her somewhat off of him. "For God's sake, Aire, stay on the couch or go to bed-- this is ridiculous, you're--" Anues cutoff in favor of taking a deep breath. Trying to reason with her when she was sober was pointless so why did he think trying now would be any better was beyond him. He should have stayed out. "Get up, I can't lift you, where's Thorn?" Right. Closed bar. Why would she be here. Anues closed his eyes for a moment as he recollected himself before glaring at the female again. "Off."

Aire

A single squeak of surprise escaped her when what she'd hope would support her gj anues had failed and she went falling down right onto him. Comidec moments would ensue, had not her temper reared it's well-groomed head.
The female grumbled something obscene as she positioned her hands on either side of the Gardevoir to push herself up off him with a glower as though this had been his fault.
Without bothering to remove herself from over his person, she snarled down at the younger Psychic before inhaling sharply through her nose as though a dragon about to breath fire.
Unfortunately a quick death would not come for Anues, instead he'd get a verbal assault. Which was Aire's specialty.
Her hair no longer obscurring half her face, her disgruntled expression was visible, the sneer curling up her scar in a grotoesque manner.
"You idiot! No one-NO ONE-replaces me!" The assumption of his words had hit a cord and in her drunken state that meant she had to kill him.
She raised both hands to flail/punch at him angrily, but forgot she needed those to hold herself up and promptly fall on him again.
Well, hell, while she was convienently near a chest to sob into. May as well.

Anues

Anues gave a sigh of relief as the female began to remove herself from over him, assuming she was being reasonable though upon making eye contact with Aire, she was rather paused in his face and seemingly pissed.
Well, he could have hoped.
He frowned and his ears lowered; not out of fear but just instinctively knowing what that look meant. Aire found out how to be pissed in that drunk mess that was she. "Air--" Anues fell silent and flinched back slightly as her anger erupted and his ears stood tall as she threatened to attempt to strike at him, only to make herself fall and send him back flat against the floorboards again having not been using his arm to hold himself up. Couldn't say he expected it. Anues blinked a flash of confusion away after his head hit the floor only to readjust to hearing her muffled crying. Anues merely sighed, still for a moment before raising his arm to pat the female's back. "There's no need to cry-- I wouldn't replace you, it's called assisting." Assuming that was the issue, at least. It seemed like something she'd get uncomfortable over. He did feel bad, though just to an extent. It was never an easy task guessing how she'd react to anything.
Anues merely laid there with one hand on the female's back and his eyes stuck staring at the ceiling above in silence. Now he took a moment to question why she was drunk to begin with. He didn't bother scolding her further, there was no point in that and she'd probably just tire herself out this way. Finally, his head tilted to the side in order to make looking down at her an easier task to do. "I'm sure everything will be fine Aire and if not... well, we'll think of something. We'll manage, so don't think about it so much. I admit it's scary, but what can we do besides wait and see? I'm not going to replace you nor am I going to leave you, I can promise you that." He smiled at her slightly in attempt to be reassuring before his expression reverted back to its neutral self and he stared off elsewhere, considering what'd he said. Anues wasn't a talker, but as long as he said what he felt necessary, he was generally okay with it. It should be comforting enough. It was just the matter of not being able to figure out one of what he assumed to be the two keys in Aire's responses. She'd agree with him in some way, or she'd get mad and defensive.

He should probably just stop considering it at all. It seemed like something entirely randomized from the outside; something or another was bound to happen with her. These arguably odd episodes though so strange grew to be rather normal and expected, and they always seemed to be around the casual things she always complained about. He'd simply wait it out like he always did and see what comes of it.

Aire

There was no visible reaction from the female, and why she was crying probably wouldn't be explained even after she sobered up.
Aire was not the type to open up her feelings to anyone, not even with Anues who was probably the only one she would if she cared enough to do so.
Regardless of the source of her tears, she was not inclined to move until she had thoroughly soaked the male's shirt until it was nothing but a sopping mass of cloth. So far so good.
Lifting her head enough to stare at the now dejected Gardevoir under her, Aire's gave a pout and she starred at him with wise watery eyes, her hands suddenly grabbing the front of his shirt in an almost threatening manner.
"Don't you dare-Don't you think about it! If you leave me like he did, I'll find you. I'll hunt you down. I'll kill you."
It would have been more intimidating had each word not been gasped out as a sob, more tears spilling sloppily down her face to dribble on his already damp shirt.
"You b*****d-! Why-WHY-What did I do?! Why did you go?!"
Eyes closed, the tears squeeze out to slip down her face in a steady stream and though Anues was the only one in the immediate vacinity, she didn't seem to be talking to him.
"D-Don't go, don't leave me..."
Aire didn't share things with anyone, she didn't like to discuss the past but lately it had been pushing it's way forward in her life again and again. It started with that Ivysaur, how she hated him for starting this mess, this slow spiral down into madness.

Anues

Anues' attention fell back on Aire almost immediately after leaving as she grabbed at his shirt and began panicking promptly after. He gave a startled blink at the female's response, letting her finish though his mouth did open as if to say something before she herself continued, only to allow her. "I wasn't-- I won't, I told you I wouldn't. There's no reason for me to leave." Anues sighed, his reply quick and mostly rushed as she finished. He rubbed her back idly after a second, trying to compensate for the silence he entered as his eyes struggled to remain on hers rather than trail off as he collected his thoughts. He hated keeping eye contact in such situations therefore he never did. It was obvious something was bothering him, but Aire was panicking too much for him to simply look away.
"Aire, calm down, everything's fine. I'm not going anywhere-- ...I can't even get up." Anues frowned, his eyes only turning down for a moment when hers closed; trying to avoid any comments at her venting specifically though it was provoking. He knew better than that. "You should probably try sleeping, it's been rather rough." He looked back at her as he spoke, allowing his arm to simply drop back to his side as if permitting her to get up. "And no, I won't ditch you in your sleep, stop getting ideas." Not that she did or would, but Anues felt it necessary to say regardless, rather it be Aire considering what she said to be silly or her taking any form of comfort in it.

Aire

The older Gardevoir frowned, face flashing vermillion though whether it was out of embrassment in general or at her having shown so much emotion wasn't clear. Her green eyes locked on his in what was almost borderline glaring though there was a soft edge to her jawline to dictate lack of tension or anger. Her gaze was more intense than full of rage, she seemed to be contemplating something though it wasn't anything obvious to him. Her ears gave the faintest flicker of motion as he continued to speak, the only signification that she was paying even a little attention to him.
She pushed her arms back up to lift her weight off the younger Psychic before promptly rolling to the side, off him and on the floor to his left. One hand reached out to reclaim the collar of his shirt and remained clutched onto it even after obliging to his request. That being to sleep.
Her head hurt, she felt stupid and ignorant. She felt like a fool. What had she been saying? Been doing? What had sent her digging through the wine cabinet to begin with?
She couldn't remember, and she supposed it didn't matter anyways. Anues only warning to her suddenly lapsing off into sleep, was the hand clutching his shirt going lax only slightly, otherwise not letting go.

Anues

Anues laid still and silent as their conversation ended and Aire spent a few seconds that felt like minutes staring at him. It was overall returned though only due to wondering if she'd comply or not. When the female finally lifted herself, whatever little tension he held was lost and he smiled slightly before his expression promptly turned to alarm as Aire suddenly grabbed his shirt again. Anues looked over at her in minor confusion though it quickly mellowed and his eyes closed in exhaustion. Today was too long, though he was probably just lazy compared to how he used to be. The male turned onto his side to face her in order to make the pull of her grip less stressing.
Anues didn't think of much prior to passing out. This whole ordeal was surreal and best left for the morning-- however that went about though the casual was to be expected.

Aire---Eric

She had a glass of wine in her hand and around four swilling in her stomach by the time Thorn decided to close the bar after Aire felt the need to terrorize some of the customers. Granted they had deserved it for harassing the girls but ladies do not slam others heads into the counter top repeatedly. It was just rude. The Roserade made sure to do her close up duties before pestering Aire, giving the female Gardevoir a moment to collect herself.
Upon snapping the lock on the register the grass type finally trotted back to the counter where her employer had yet to move.
"Going to be alright then?" Thorn asked quietly and her only reply was a brief nod from Aire who refused to look up from her glass.
There wasn't really anything Thorn could do if Aire refused to let her know what had set her off so badly that she would assault a customer.
With nothing left to do she exited the bar, the older Psychic didn't even lift her head to watch the floral Pokemon leave so when the door opened again she naturally assumed it was just Thorn returning to grab something she had forgotten, but that was not so.
"Aire."
Her eyes widened slightly at the voice and the wave of familiarity that accompanied it. Slowly she glanced up and immediately regretted it.
"Eric." Came her reply, soft and wary though her bite returned with her next statement, "Aren't you suppose to be dead?"
Before her stood a Gallade with natural coloring but of a near imposing height that rivaled her own.
His face portrayed an age around her own as well but his expression was one of arrogance.
"Clearly not, I heard you'd done well for yourself. Own a whorehouse-"
"-it is not a-"
"Working alongside this guild system despite you not particularly liking them-"
"That's just for-"
"Oh right, you're little b*****d. Found him did you? Well, not like you couldn't just make more of them anyways you-"
"Say it and DIE."
"Slut." The Gallade said simply and the Gardevoir across from him rose to her feet with a sudden vehemence. Aire seethed at him but he remained oddly calm given the circumstances.
"Regardless, I thought I'd drop by and give you a visit. And a warning. You ruined my life, prepare to have the same done to you."
Without another word the dual type turned and stepped out of the bar with the door slammed behind him and Aire slowly sunk back down to her seat in silence.
What was he even doing alive? She'd heard he had died back when the clan split apart during some massacre. Why would he warn her about this payback he intended to pay her? To scare her naturally. Of course. He wanted revenge for something she had no control over and her stomach clenched in an odd feeling she rarely ever experienced. Fear.

Anues

”Is everything alright?”
The dull eyed Gardevoir stood at the top of the stairs leading to the main level of the bar, staring at the troubled female in both concern and worry. He didn’t respond until Aire’s voice rose, but someone was here. It was a psychic of sorts for sure, he sensed that, but he didn’t recognize the aura at all. The intruder was gone as quickly as he came, and Anues hadn’t shown until moments after the other male’s leave. The Gardevoir gave a careful glance around what he could see of the lower level of the bar from his positioning before finally eyeing Aire again. He wasn’t quite sure if he regret his timing, but it wasn’t worth worrying about now. Anues was still for a moment before finally stepping down the stairway and walking over to Aire in silence. He didn’t sit, not at first but instead stood by her with a passive glare at the door before locking it with his psychic, if only to make himself feel a little less uneasy.

His attention finally turning back to Aire, he sighed quietly and stepped off to the side to sit beside her, still not breaking his silence. Part of him acted as if this was just another one of her moments. That would be the case entirely had he not been fully aware it was someone else that made her uncomfortable, or so he safely assumed. Aire yelled and a door slammed, that's all he really even had to go by.
He rested his elbows on the counter before the two with his head perched on his cuffed hands as he continued to passively eye the door before staring off ahead repetitively, though randomly. It was more in a sense of curiosity than worry, unsure if he'd even get much of a response from Aire anyway. She seemed a bit off since his return but he made no comment toward it. Had this been someone she’d been waiting for, for whatever reason was beyond his knowledge, but Anues had grown accustomed to simply existing remotely near her when such mood swings came about. It wasn’t like he had to do much or be anywhere else. Anues himself was more so connected to Aire than the bar itself, leaving him to avoid this level of the bar more frequently than not. Now he started questioning if he should probably be around more often.

Aire

It was always one thing after another wasn't it? She hadn't gotten a break since this madness began and it was putting her in a foul mood. This wasn't a foul mood though, it was more dismayed. She wasn't angry, just tired.
A hand turned to dump the remains of her drink in one of the small sinks behind the counter before she promptly tossed the glass into the trash rather than in the sink itself to be cleaned later. The way she handled it was as though afraid it was tainted. As though her touch had caused the glass to be unclean and immediately afterwards she folded her arms so she could tuck her hands inside the sleeves of her coat in a very defensive manner.
Her ears flicked upward as a voice sounded though she gave no other noticeable response. She knew it was Anues, that was one of the few voices she could recognize without fail.
Aire barely even looked up as he made the slow descent down the stairs to next to her, but not before she heard the faint click of the lock.
It was almost immediate relief having the door locked, she could feel the tension ease somewhat, but not enough to relax entirely.
She knew she would have to answer eventually, but for the moment no words could form. 'Is everything alright?'.
No. Nothing as right, everything was wrong. She wanted the peace of her life restored, she wanted to go back to the time before she was involved with the guilds. A selfish part of her blamed Alfred, she found herself wonderinf if he was even worth trying to help. Surely he hated her, anyone would after what she did.
The older Gardevoir inhaled slowly before finally replying after the long silence, "No, I want to close the bar. For...for a while. You can have the time off."
He had friends at the guild right? Anues should go stay with them while she dealt with...HIM. At that point she wasn't sure what she would do, but she'd be damned if that Gallade layed a hand on her, her own hand lifted to the scar on her left cheek, again...

Anues

Remaining idle during her silence, he simply stared off and avoided eye contact with the door. Aire wasn't really attempting to glance back at him though and after a short moment, he took the time to quickly look her over out of the corner of his eye before letting them turn elsewhere as if on reflex as she inhaled; taking it as a cue that she was going to speak and possibly look over at him. Her words were... somewhat expected. He expected something else, but not an entirely different answer. Anues didn't respond right away. Instead, one of his hands lowered to the counter and he tapped it quickly with his fingers before promptly sitting upright and allowing both his arms to rest on the counter, and his attention finally turned on Aire, having figured out his wording. "And leave you alone?" The male grew use to playing with his own wording around Aire. He skipped the direct concern of her own being in favor of simply making it obvious he knew the issue, at least to some extent and he didn't reject her words either. Really, could she just assume he'd simply leave?

Well, she herself admitted something was wrong anyway so while he was at it, "Who was here?" Anues continued to eye her after the questions were posed before finally looking at the door again, then Aire as his hands clasped one another on the counter, obviously waiting for something-- He made his actions obvious though only as much as her own... though of course that wasn't all that lightly at all. There was a certain tension on his posture that didn't allow Anues to relax where he sat to gesture he didn't plan on staying long. Though, was that for the sake of an act or the assumption he was actually leaving any time soon was left unclear.

Aire
Sometimes she wondered why she bothered ordering him around since he never listened to half the things she told him to do.
Granted half of her orders were something not even she would obey and understandable, but it seemed everytime she dropped the 'leave me alone' hints he refused to do as asked regardless of the circumstances.
It was both frustrating and pleasing at the same time. Aire offered a slight smile that quickly faded at his next question and she glowered at him instead before deciding it wasn't worth getting angry over and simply staring down at the counter without answering. She hoped he didn't expect one, as she had no plans to give it.
The female Gardevoir tapped her fingers along the counter for a moment before standing without warning.
"I'm going to bed, if you insist on staying make yourself useful and clean something." It was both a 'good night' and a 'dismissal' and she quietly made her way to the stairs to ascend them and vanish out of sight.

Anues

Anues quickly frowned as Aire's expression changed from a simple smile, thinking he'd won, to her glaring at him instead. There was a certain dejection in his look as if to wonder what he'd done, though it quickly turned blank. Not like Aire would fall for s**t at this point. He merely looked back ahead at the bar's wall before him and sighed as Aire dismissed herself from the counter. "I never said I planned on staying." Never said he planned on leaving either. The male's voice rose in the open enough for the leaving female to hear, though it drifted off into a quiet mumble about nothing in particular as he closed his eyes for a few seconds as everything came silent, only to open them again and glance around. Cleaning... eventually. The defeated Gardevoir closed his eyes again and folded his arms on the counter for his head to rest against. He was still for some time, at least 30 minutes before turning his head toward the door again. Something bothered him. The silence was insecuring. Anues narrowed his eyes and finally sat upright where he took a moment to glance at the stairs Aire took her leave before standing himself. The Gardevoir approached a window closest to the bar's entrance, taking a moment to stare out with his eyes squinted. Little could be seen at this hour, but simply going outside the bar bothered him. Aire was here though, and something was there. It was a weak feeling, but it was there, and it was the only thing keeping the male uneasy.

Anues stood upright again, stepping back from the window with his arms now crossed. He silently counted to 3 and teleported an odd half mile outside the bar before he had a chance to get any second thoughts. The pressure of his teleport was far stronger than usual, only to make his aura more detectable. Of course, this made it just as loud and eerie. Now it was merely a game of waiting and seeking. If nothing was to come about, there was no point in staying. He'd return to the bar and remain awake until Aire herself was up for the following morning; not that sleeping did much for him personally.

"You work at the whorehouse, do you?" The voice was calm despite the shriek of the teleport that sounded practically on his lap. Directly in front of the Gardevoir, the Gallade sat calmly with his legs folded on the side of an overturned tree. A cigar was balanced lightly on his bottom lip but was unlit and he didn't seem inclined to light it anytime soon.
The dual type raised a hand and turned his arm so he could examine his elbow blades with the silent scrutiny a butcher would his knives. He didn't seem particularly bothered by the sudden visitor, his manners held to the tune that he was expecting such. After all, you didn't threaten someone in their own business and just walk off without a slap on the wrist. Whether Aire had sent the kid or he'd come on his own accord was irrelevant.
The Gallade raised both arms and slid his elbow blades against one another with an audible metallic clink, sharpening them by appearances it seemed but no. Instead he waited for a spark to start from the metal scraping against eachother before leaning in so it could light his cigar. Task done, he lowered his arms and blew a smoke ring out towards the male Psychic with a sneer.
"You one of the sluts there too? Wouldn't put it past the b***h to hire male ones. She never was entirely all there. I mean, seriously..." He raised the hand he was holding his cigar with to wave around the air and smoke swirled around overhead as he did so. "...sleeping with a legendary. The whore. What a stupid thing to do...then she comes crying to me when he takes off on her. What did she expect? It was a damn legendary, they can do much better than some mortal slut afterall."
Replacing the cigar back in his mouth he gave a broad smile.
"I'd advise you to get the hell out of dodge, kid. That bar's going to be a very unhappy place soon...might be a bit too warm for you." The lingering threat in his voice left little to the imagination. More specifically he was going to torch the place.
He didn't seem to care if he was provoking Anues either, rather he seemed to enjoy pressing his luck by bad mouthing the female Gardevoir to any he could.
