(( Horus had his yesterday XD)
Yep it was definitely the perma Kaname often talked about. So he would just go with the flow and treat her as a small adult, weirdly enough. Hmm some how he knew she was probably telling the truth his own birthday was only a short ways away himself but he was pretty sure Kaname had stated Jaci was born around the same time as Horus. “ah that’s because I look mostly like my father and Kaname looks mostly like his mother or something like that. “ He explained “Well my tribe is around here so Kaname was just dropping me off.”
Akori smiled. It was always good to be honest in the long run; it tended to cut down problems. Akori wondered if the cousin thing was real as well but Horus said it was and if they took after the non related parents it could be possible. “Ah your welcome, its not like it’s a big secret but knowing dad’s day he would probably be all up tight about it. “ Akori commented before looking back at the older foxes.
Kaname shook his head. “No its not a secret we’re related Morin grew up in the first Kemet so he knew Horus and stuff. No I don’t like talking about past stuff, its just I wanted to get some herbs in the area and we where still catching up at the time thus I walked him to the border.” Ugh he had been having a watched feeling earlier it would be definitely Jaci to stalk Kaname, she did want to know where Marius and Akori’s personality had come from. "ah yes this is one of the scouts for my tribe, dont let her appearance fool you she is in fact the oldest one here." he stated towards his cousin in law.

Faiza blinked. "I apologzie for the offense. I have never met an adult trapped in the body of a kit. You are called a permakit, correct?"
Jaci rolled her eyes. "Yea, that would be me. Ready-made, parents didn't even have to use a growth-freeze item on me." ((OOC: *gives Nasai a pointed stare.)) She looked at the black and purple male, Morin, then at Faiza. "So is he just as big a stickler for secrets as Kaname is?" Jaci shook her head. "So mean, Kaname won't tell me anything even if I ask nicely. I'm trying to get Raz to convince Nubi we need to gang up on him, like a therapy session, but Heru always manages to distract us right before we can act." Jaci pouted a little. It was very hard to get Raz or Anubis to harass someone with her, so it was disappoint that Horus kept managing to divert their attention.

“well that’s because its better not to know” Kaname replied with a serious tone. He knew perfectly well that Horus kept on stopping him as he had asked his good friend to step in. It wasn’t exactly something he was ready to tell yet, not even Himeko knew about it. “Plus Horus has a lot of stuff to get ready for thus he needs Anubis who can actually hear the modeities as well as he can to help him” Kaname answered.
“Ah yes I would be the same, however I might answer a question or two. It’ll be cryptic though” Morin said in a light tone. He laughed having seen Anubis; well that’s who Morin assumed Nubi was, when he had been there visting. “However I don’t think ganging up on him is going to get him to spill either. Amatsu, Meris, and Xi lan all tried too as well. Luckily for him he lived in a tribe of thieves so questions definitely weren’t asked and Faiza didn’t pry having things she wasn’t ready to talk about either.

Jaci pouted in a comical fashion. "What is it with guys and having secrets they think are like super dangerous to know about," she muttered rebelliously, looking around at the gathered foxes for support. "Akori, Faiza, back me up here."
Faiza blinked down at the permakit, then shrugged lightly. "Perhaps it is not that they are "super dangerous" secrets, but just things you do not need to know about. Sometimes a past is so full of tragedy that even hearing the story can spead sorrow. That is why we hold secrets in our hearts, to spare others the same suffering."

Morin looked over towards the side with what might have been a guilty expression. “Well that’s because it’s a combination of what Faiza stated and yet at the same time it is a dangerous secret.” He laughed a bit as Akori seemed confused on what direction he wanted to go to. “I can give you a hint though, it has to do with evil Daevas” he ignored the suddenly cold look from Kaname.
“Well it’s in the job description to be a guy.” Kaname stated in a light tone. He briefly glared over at Morin for his little hint before letting out a small sigh and turning towards Jaci. “If it ever gets to the point where it will interfere with life in general I’ll tell you it. As for the part about not telling how adventurous as a kit and that’s where Marius and Akori get their personality is a whole different manner and you hush” he stated when he saw the mischievous look in his cousin’s eyes.

Jaci grinned widely. "I like your cousin, Meme," she piped. "At least he gives clues." Sure that meant she now had a half dozen scenarios running through her head, but Jaci thrived on stuff like that.
((Just so you know, Meme is supposed to sound like maymay. Just didn't want to spell it like that XD ))
Faiza had to hide a smile at the look Kaname shot her mate. She hadn't thought she'd find someone else willing to part with information, but she had to admit she'd found a contender. Morin would at least hint. "Perhaps a subject change, then," she interjected, trying to help out her new cousins. "Maybe you can tell me a little of your tribe? Morin has hinted that you have interesting histories and traditions."

“Well it’s almost better to tell a little bit of information, and then they go off on crazy tangents.” Morin pointed out with a small shrug. Besides he definitely wasn’t the one to ask. You might be able to get it out of their friend Amatsu, highly unlikely and it was never like this group was going to be able to get a hold of Xi lan.
Meme? Why did he always end up with such weird nicknames? Morin and Horus used to call him Kana as a kid. Focusing on the more important situation at hand he was still going to kick his cousin if he kept being his charming self. “Well Morin’s probably told you this is the second time the tribe has been active, the first time we lived among Humans they revered us as creatures that where close to the modeities image and so we managed to get along. We’d protect them from desert predators and the like and help with carrying and they provided food and shelter. Then the third Modeity got jealous and pretty much wiped out the whole tribe expect for four of us. The fourth was off visiting other family at the time which is why she survived. Now the modeities are getting along… better for lack of a better word and the tribe’s just been accepted so our elder is about to ascend.

"Ascend?" Faiza was puzzled at the world, and looked around at all the assembled foxes in hopes of an answer.
Jaci pouted again. "Means Heru's probably gonna get a whole lot bigger," she said, then sighed in an exaggerated fashion. "Probably gonna be the same size as Sephy, so I'm gonna have two super big friends. And Raz has Nubi." She shook her head, scowling a little. "Why do we keep gettin' all the really big foxes around her," she asked, looking up at Kaname as though it was all his responsibility to have the answer.

“Well in most cases Elders are born like Normal foxes, when a modeities finally thinks the tribe is ready for the next step they send a tribe guardian to watch over the tribe and the tribe elder visits the modeities where they change him into the normal elder form. Most of the time the process is called ascending. “ Morin explained. “Kemet just got their tribe guardian so the next step would be Horus ascending and then getting the tribal jewelry or tattoo as you can see they don’t quite have them yet.
“Yes I seem to notice that for a tribe we seem to get a lot of winged modifoxes.” Kaname did agree. Normally you had one or two in Kemet’s recent history. There had been seven total, not all of them had stayed two of them going off to explore other paths but it was still a bit weird…. “and yes he will be as big as Persephone… perhaps even a bit bigger since Horus is a guy.”

Faiza nodded at the explanation, and almost smiled at the expression on Jaci's face. Trying to distract herself, she turned back to looking at Morin. "Has the elder of your tribe done such a thing yet," she asked curiously. Morin didn't talk about the goings on in his tribe very often, and for some reason Faiza was actually feeling curious.
"Hope not," Jaci muttered. "World don't need more big foxes." She sighed in a resigned way, marching over to Kaname and positioning herself just slightly behind his front legs. "Well all you giants are good for shade, so I guess that's fine," she said, craning her head back to peer at Kaname.

Morin did a slight twirl to prove the point he was about to make. “As you can see I don’t have any new markings or jewelry either so my tribe leader has yet to ascend either.” Morin answered with a nod. “We have enough tribe members I believe….” Lets see there was Kylar, Laiat, Maya, the beta, and his elder, then there was that skittle female and Amali…”Yes we have enough members so I guess it would be whenever Loki decides to give us a tribe guardian and or when he feels like our elder is worthy enough.” He explained.
Kaname chose not to comment that all of Persephone’s children would be phims and all of Amatsu and Eirene’s children would be phims so there would be bigger foxes in the world eventually considering he knew both Persephone and Amatsu wanted children. “well soo glad that I could be a shade umbrella” Kaname said dryly.

Jaci craned her head back and gave Kaname a playful grin. "Well what else are you guys good for?" She was preeeeetty sure that Kaname could, and most likely would, bury her in a landslide of reasons. He could do sarcasm well enough, but Jaci always thought the male was too serious for his own good.
Faiza cast a glance at the kit, wondering if she should be mildly offended that she seemed to think so little of Phims or take it all in stride as a joke. She went with the former, going by the grin Jaci had on her face, then turned her attention back to Morin. "What would that mean for us, if your elder is deemed worthy," she asked, glancing at all the foxes gathered in question. After all, she was the only one among them not part of a tribe.

Morin thought about it. He didn’t think all that much would change but that was just off the top of his head. “Well I would be a bit busier and have to check in more often, supposedly. I could then talk to foxes telepathically, not that they could answer back. Sport a new tattoo, oh and seemingly the modeities would bless us with less kits” he replied. “ah and then you’d have to come down and talk to the elder and get permission for us to even have children and for our mate ship to be approved.” Mmm that would be a bit of a change wouldn’t it?
“Hmm since basically we are the same as every other fox, a lot of things,” Kaname began even though this wasn’t entirely true in his case since he was in a tribe with a rank that gave him certain abilities. “however one who is uncomfortable with heights shouldn’t tease a winged being too much” Kanamed nodded with a smile. He did really take anything Jaci said too offensively and he wasn’t actually going to go through with taking her flying.

Jaci frowned in a ferocious manner up at Kaname. "You even try to take me flying, and I'll fill your workshop up with the nastiest river weed I came find," she threated. Of course she'd have to go that threat alone, since Anubis wouldn't help her with that prank and Raz would probably tell Anubis not to let her go, traitor. So mum's the word and all that secretive stuff.
Faiza raised an eyebrow inquiriously. "So, if the elder does not approve of me, then we would be unable to have children and no longer able to see each other?" That seemed like a pretty raw deal to her, though she was sure tribes worked in such ways for reasons.
((How on Earth we gonna end this one >_> ))

“Hmm lucky I have hidden workshops all over the place, even one non flappers cant get too” Kaname challenged. “Besides Persephone would have my hide if I did such a thing” Kaname started and then trailed off. “Well apparently we’ve been gone from Kemet for longer than I thought. Horus just said he needed us to come back” the phim spoke up. It slightly concerned Kaname that Horus had sent a scout so far out to pick them up but Marius didn’t sound too worried.
“Well she will. Considering I do most of the work steering unwanted visitors off Harami lands” Morin lightly growled. He was generally not a violent fox but if his elder disapproved for a flimsy reason Morin was not going to be very happy. Sure loki wanted him there to help but one should always have their mate slightly above their tribe.
