"Because you're cute!" He chimed out, laughing softly and bumping his side with hers. He was about to make another comment when he stopped, a low snarl escaping him. When he turned to look up, having just exited the alley, he spotted three males.
"Who the hell are you?" Allu snarled, moving in-front of Ava.
"The guys whose turf you're on, punk."
Turf? This place? What the hell! It wasn't owned before. Carefully, he moved before Ava, snarling lowly. "Really? Doesn't smell like your turf, someone failed at marking it, didn't they?" This caused a low snarl from one of the males, both boys tensing.

Ava stuck her tongue out at him playfully. "I'm not cute." She said with a laugh as she trotted more out into the open of the alley. She was about to head down a random alley when she heard Allu snarl. She turned around to see what the matter was and she easily spotted it. 3 males who claimed this was their land.
She was worried because everyone was getting riled up. She kept behind Allu but poked her head out under his so only her face could be seen. "I'm sorry we are on your land we'll leave right now. It's my fault. I'm new and ran into something that spooked me than darted down the nearest alley. My friend here followed to make sure I was ok. We didnt have time to really think and stop to see if we had stumbled appon others land. We'll leave right now I promise,"with that said she nudged Allu hoping he would lead them out of here.

Allu looked at Ava, then at the males. When she was done speaking the males grinned at one another, looking at her. Allu snarled, knowing this was not a good sign.
"Oh? So he's just your friend? Well, that changes everything. How about you come on a date with us?"
Allu snarled once more when a male came closer, bristling. "No." He snapped back. The male that had stepped forward snarled at Allu, not amused by his protest, and swiped at him. Allu rammed his bracelet into the paw, causing the male to yelp and leap away in pain.
"Come on Ava." Allu nudged Ava to the side, keeping her from the males.

Ava nodded and kept her one side against the alley wall. "No not today I'm already on a date maybe in a few months? But right now I must leave." she asked hoping that if she seemed willing to go with their plan they would let them go for now.
The third male that hadn't said much of anything slipped down one alley way and took a detour and was able to pop back up at the mouth of the alley that the two strangers where trying to leave.

Allu snarled when the two stepped back. Why were the being so lenient? He pulled Ava down the alley, a different one, and suddenly skidded back, pushing her against the wall when he spotted the third male at the end, snarling.
"What the hell are you doing?" Allu snarled, curling his tail around Ava, moving protectively in-front of her, again. He was not letting anyone hurt the girl he liked! Ever! She was going to be safe, and go home safely.

Ava watched her male and the other with surprised eyes. Her eyes darted back and forth and she made herself smaller so it would be easier for Allu. She didn't know how to fight and wouldnt be of any help.
"I wanted to get a better look at her," was all the male said

Allu snarled, tail lashing back and forth. "Didn't you hear her earlier? She doesn't want to spend time with you right now." He snapped. He knew what this was going to become, knew it and didn't want it. "Now move out of the way." He snarled lowly, staring at the male.
Ava growing smaller made him angry. She shouldn't have to be hiding! This was anyone's turf, not just one persons. Sometimes he hated the city.

The male walked away mumbling something about a "pissy a**" and disappeared back into the alleys off to be with his lil pack.
Ava nudged her head against Allu and asked softly "Are you ok?" She could tell he was mad and didnt want to do anything to direct that anger at her. She doubted it would happen but it was always a possibility. "Can we leave Allu?" she asked.

When the male left Allu relaxed, smiling at Ava in seconds. His personality had changed, rapidly. "Ava, I have something to show you." He mused, nudging her out of the alley and heading to a path that went into a park. He'd show her! And then he'd take her home, even if she said no.
He turned to make sure she was following, grinning at her before entering the park. He headed straight to a bridge made of wood overlooking a small, human made stream with lily pads in it. He waited for her, pulling out the tiny little silver necklace he had stolen from the human.

Ava smiled "Thats right you do have something to show me. I wanna see it,"she said excitedly bouncing on her pads. She followed him, her tail wagging in excitement.
She slowed down some as they entered the park. Different flowers and birds catching her attention. She followed him onto the bridge and picked her head between the bars to stare down at the lily pads than she pulled her head back out and gave him her full attention.

He smiled at her when she went to inspect the water, smiling at her. He pulled out the necklace, having hid it around his bracelet so she wouldn't see it earlier. Now, he set it in-front of her, smiling.
"Do you like it?" He asked. "I just grabbed the first thing I saw, so if it'd bad I can get another." He wagged his tail softly, flipping his hair out of his face. "I wanted to let you know that I like you, Ava."

Ava gently took the necklace from it letting it dangle from around her paw as she examined it. It was breath taking and would stand out nicely on her dark fur. Grinning at him she kissed his cheek and said "Thank you I love it. Its perfect." She continued to gaze at it when he said something else but she was a little lost in thought so she repeated what she thought she heard. "You like me?" she asked it slowly working its way threw her mind than once it clicked she blushed and pawed at the ground, "I..uh like you to Allu"

He laughed, moving towards her to nuzzle her. "So you'll be my girl?" He asked, hopefully looking at her. He lifted the necklace, helping fasten it around her neck and grinning. Well, what a lucky steal~ All hers. And now, she was all his! There was a silence for a brief second before he pulled her closer, kissed her, and wagged his tail.
Ava was his girl~ His girlfriend~ His mate was a proper word, but Allu was a city fox, different terms came around when you were in different places. Now he'd have to leave the city for her~ For her? Of course he'd leave the city for his girl!

Ava nodded with a blush on her face "Yes I'll be yours if you'll be mine," she said bowing her head so that he had an easier time putting the necklace on her.
Once it was on she looked up at him and smiled and kissed him back. It was official today was the perfect day to travel so far from home. She was glad she braved it all.

When he pulled away he squirmed under her, lifted her, and twirled. He was elated, down right elated. With her on his back, he looked up and grinned whined, winking. "Time for home now, doll?" He asked, looking to the side. "We could extra long to just you know, spend some time together~ Anyway, isn't it tradition for the men to get the girls home late?" He grinned, head tilting.
He'd kidnap her every day and snuggle with her! Wait, he'd live in the forest, with her! "Whaddya think of me living near you?"
