TELL THE STORY NOWZ! :B

As you talk with the boy, a thought strikes you. He has yet to inform you about just why he had brought you down here. You voice your query and the boy smacks himself on the forehead. ”I’m sorry! I forgot!” He taps his lips with a finger and sidesteps something that’s suspiciously skull shaped. Do you:

A) Sidestep whatever it may be as well.

B) Stop to investigate the object. Maybe it’s something useful?

Answers:

A) You continue along without incident.

B) You pick up the object, unable to fully make out what it may be in the darkness. You run your hands over it, shivering when you realize that it is indeed a skull. And it seems to be occupied. A large spider leaps out of one of the empty sockets to crawl along your arm. Before you can swat it off, it sinks its fangs into your skin, injecting venom into your blood steam. Sorry, but you’re in for a very slow death. Game Over.



”You see, I was down here playing one man tag and I heard fighting,” for emphasis the boy waves a small fist in the air, ”It got really loud! Like, I mean, really loud!! When I went to peek, I found another Pokemon and he was really beat up. So I went to find someone to help!”

He grins at you from over his shoulder and then points up ahead. ”He’s right up here!” Do you:

A) Continue at your current pace. If this Pokemon lasted this long then he couldn’t be too badly injured.

B) Pick up the pace! Someone out there needs your help, this is not time to dilly dally!

Answer:

A) You and the boy continue at a normal pace, not knowing that you just barely escaped a run in with one of the experiments gone wrong that roam the catacombs. Good thing you didn’t hurry!

B) Out of concern for the unknown injured Pokemon, you rush past Ichi. Automatically assuming that the boy will follow. Unfortunately for you that the increase in pace times things so that you ended up right in the path of a furry monstrosity the size of a bear. It gnashes its rat like teeth at you, tasting the air. When it senses your intent to run, it lunges. You really should have taken things slowly. Game Over.



Through the darkness you can barely make out a wall just up ahead. As you draw closer, faint outlines of doors appear on the wall. You have reached the end of the catacombs, but what now? You glance down to the boy to find him looking just as puzzled as you.

”I know he’s behind either this door, or this one,” he points at two of the doors, ”But I can’t remember which one! Looks like the choice is up to you.

A) You approach the door on the right and press your ear against the cool wood. Something could be heard shuffling on the other side, indicating that there is indeed life in this room. But is it the Pokemon you’ve come to aid?

B) You approach the door on the left and press your ear against the cool wood. Silence reigns, so as far as you can tell, the room is empty. But, what’s the harm in taking a peek?

Answer:

A) You push open the door and a hand shoots out from the darkness, and is it just your head playing games with you, or is one of the fingers on the hand glowing purple? The hand clamps onto your shirt and then drags you into the darkness, the door slamming shut behind you. Game Over.

B) Slowly, you push open the door, wincing when it creaks and shatters the silence. You hold your breath, waiting for certain death to fall upon you. Instead, fortune smiles upon you. In the back of the room rests a battered young male in formal attire, glowing wisps floating up from his form. Congratulations, you have made it to the end and have found Lampent. The poor Pokemon seems to have gotten separated from his two sisters-his younger sister, Litwick, and his elder sister, Chandelure, are in the Battle Arena- and ran into a foe he couldn’t handle.
