Devon was sitting on the rock with his elbows on his knees, his hands were folded together and were the only thing holding up his head as his chin was resting on his intertwined fingers. His hair was sticking to the sides of his face from the sweat and his breath came in raspy little gulps of air that he managed to get in through his stuffed nose.

At first, Devon didn't react, but then his eyes slowly opened only a little bit and he stared off into space for a minute before gaining realization of his surroundings and Ze next to him, "Ze? What're you doing here? I thought you were at Alex's place sleeping." he said, rubbing an eye free of sleep and looking around in a daze.

"My condition? What're you talking about? I'm fine." he said, and as he continued to rub his eyes free of sleep, he looked a lot like a little boy, even the way he looked up at Ze and the way he sat said that he wasn't 17 at the moment, but rather a 5 year old in a 17 year old's body.

A sudden sneeze had caused Devon to shudder, sniffling due to a runny nose, "I told you, I'm fine. This is nothing." he added, standing up and stretching. The motion had him grimacing in pain. His muscles were soar and aching from the uncomfortble position he'd fallen asleep in and from fatigue from his cold.

Devon took the tissue, blowing his nose quickly, "That's because you're making a big deal out of something little." he mumbled, and then he looked at the water, slipping his free hand into his pocket, "So, what do you want? To take me home? Like that'll do me any good, there's no one there." he added raising his eyebrows as he waited for an answer.

Devon was silent for a moment, thinking, then a small smirk creeped onto his face, but he didn't look at Ze, "Sure, why not? I've been meaning to find some company for the house, but pets are ruled out due to me never remembering to feed them or really take good care of them." he sneezed once more and coughed afterwards, taking a couple more tissues, stuffing a few in his pockets for later and blowing his nose with one. He glanced over at Ze for a moment, then turned to leave, "Come over whenever, I live in apartment 42 at that old apartment complex, Golden Housing, downtown. Don't be surprised if the lady next door does something crazy, like, pull out a gun on you when you pass by her door." he flashed a grin at the other, then he was gone.

A few minutes later and Devon was walking up the stairs to the fourth floor, pulling out a single key from his shoe and unlocking the door before silently shutting it, not eve bothering to lock it. He slipped his shoes off beside the door and walked to the couch against the wall of a pretty empty room, laying down and tossing an arm over his eyes tiredly, "Ugh, I need to get a grip. This cold has gotten way out of hand." he coughed, and then he sighed, deciding he'd take a nap while he was laying there. The room was completely empty aside from the couch and several stacks of books beside it, there was a small kitchen at the end of a hallway and only one door on either side. One was the bathroom, the other was a bedroom that Devon has never even looked into before. There weren't any windows in the livingroom, but there was one in the bedroom and the kitchen.
