Steven laughed as Rosie said his full name. It seemed that even in Kodo he couldn't go anywhere without being recognized. Ah well, it didn't really bother him either way.

"You've got me," he told her with an amused tone. "And its a pleasure to meet you, Miss Ewell and Guy." His attention remained mostly on Rosie though, even as Guy leaned over to whisper to her.

"So you live around here, hm? Its a nice place, I have to admit. I would really like to see a league started up in this region, actually. I don't know why they haven't done it already."

The Aron blinked in surprise as the blob of white suddenly turned.. into another Aron! "Aron!" That was really cool! How did it do that? Then a Litwick came down to check them out, and Aron gave it a greeting as well. "Ron ron!"

The red eyed Aron squinted in the direction of the new greeting. Opal's eyesight really wasn't all that good, and it didn't help any that the other Pokemon was a ghost type. "ARON!" she greeted in her current form, regardless of being able to see the others well or not. With her currently stubby legs, she bobbed up and down in a content manner. Rather quickly, the bobbing up and down became something even more entertaining. She didn't stay in place, and soon enough she began to circle the other Aron, almost as if she was parading around. It was a game to her, and soon enough she was singing out a simple little tune to keep herself entertained. "Aron ron ron aron ron ron!"

It would be no fun if she kept playing by herself. Eventually she paused in her antics and turned to the actual Aron and the Litwick. "Aron ron air!" (You can join in)

Izumi was on her way to investigate one of the food stands when she spotted a little Aron, which was interesting, because she loved Steel types, since the ones she had seen were as much like machines as they were biological beings. The blue haired girl started to make her way over to get a better look at it, when a giant almost walked into her. The girl let out a startled yelp as she came to stumbling halt and recoiled away from the huge man.

"Oh- I-I-I'm um- E-excuse me... I'm sorry- I-I wasn't looking where I was going..." The girl fumbled around with her words, staring wide-eyed that the man with the long blond hair.

(By the way Suu, I realize that my post after the last one you did was missing a chunk out of it that didn't go through the first time, I added it back in, since it involved your character. Sorry T.T
Didn't want it to seem like Rosie was ignoring Luke at all. D8 )

Glancing over at Guy when he subtly asked her about Steven, tilting her head slightly. She knew the Grand Isle didn't have much in the way of contact with the Pokemon League, if they had any at all, so it made sense the wouldn't know.
"Mr. Stone is... or was, the champion for Hoenn's League." She explained, though she had heard he retired some time ago, she didn't quite remember what the status of that was now. "He's a master trainer."
So, yeah, she guessed he was a celebrity.
"I hope I'm not mistaken." She finished with a couple more blinks, before shaking her head.

"Thank you~ I really love it here" At the mention of a League being set of here, Rosie perked up considerably. "Its always been a hope of trainers here, that Kodo would get a League set up."
Being an accomplished trainer in Kodo proved to be difficult at times for this reason,
"You won't find any complaints here" She shook her head at this, the Pikachu on her shoulder holding a paw up with a confirming "Pika!" in agreement.
It didn't sound like it was a definite thing though, at least not at the moment.
"What bring you to Kodo Mr. Stone?" She asked politely. Though if she had to guess, it would be the fact that Lance, the champion for Johto and Kanto, was said to be missing on their island.

Melody had turned her head around, both her claws placed on Rosie's shoulder as the small green Charmander stared at the newcomer with silver hair, blinking her eyes a couple of times.

Fine, let them all think she was rude or a snob or something, she didn't care. She pretty much ignored the lot of them in favor of petting Anya after putting down little Isabella, though another male voice (obviously) caught her attention. After straightening up she saw him to be some old guy an older gentleman, who Rosie seemed to know... or at least knew of, at any rate. Something about a has-been at the League? Something like that. Either way it wasn't an interesting topic, so she idly continued stroking Anastasia's head.

Isabella curled around Sera's leg, staring at the other pokemon with wide gold eyes that had only grown wider when she was put down on the ground. There were so many big people and pokemon stomping about - of course, to the little baby Absol, everything was big and stomped around - so she chose to stick (extremely) close to her owner for the time being until she knew whether or not to trust any of these things.

As the blue-haired woman stammered and stuttered, Dith tried very hard not to feel guilty. He failed. It wasn't like he'd asked to be gigantic and terrifying, but knowing that he was he really ought to have learned to look where he was going by now. "It's fine," he said with a soft smile and a small dismissive gesture, "it is just as much my fault, and no harm is done to either of us, da?... I like your Beldum, I have not seen one coloured like that before." Complimenting people often made them feel better, and complimenting her pokemon was less... less problematic than complimenting her tattoos or something; last thing he wanted was for her to think the giant guy was also a sleezy old b*****d who hit on women young enough to be his daughter.

At this point, a slight pressure against his leg caused him to look down. Expectant gold eyes looked back up at him, and Dith gave a bass chuckle. "Ah, this is Viktor; he wishes me to introduce him to you and your floating metal friend. We were heading over to the tournament sign ups; are the two of you here to take part?"

Charlotte had been listening to Steven and Rosie's conversation that she forgot to introduce herself. "Oh sorry. I'm Charlotte" she said giving a half wave to the newcomer. "It's nice to meet you Mr. Stone." According to Guy's whispered question and Rosie's reply he was a champion for Hoenn's League and a master trainer, how intersting.

The Aron, mimic Aron, and now a litwick seemed to be standing around together. Draco watched them lazily from his spot between his owner's feet. Two of them had just recently appeared and the umbreon had already started to lose interest.

Ugh, there were so many pokemon gathered, just running around. Why did people think it was such a good idea to let them wander like that? Weren't they just a nuisance? He watched the small group disinterestedly; he didn't really know who this Steven Stone guy was, but so far he wasn't saying anything interesting, and all this talk of a 'pokemon league' meant nothing to Luke. ...What was that weird little white thing? He'd heard of pokemon that could change their shape, but seeing it happen was just... creepy.

All the talk of the league, master trainers, Kodo being a good place for... something... Luke couldn't really contribute to it or even really wrap his head around it. Seraphine seemed similarly unenthusiastic - was that why people kept their pokemon around? for something to occupy themselves when they got bored? - but he was still a bit too sore over the way she'd reacted to Guy to find any companionship in her. Well, whatever. Something interesting was bound to happen eventually with such a large group assembled.

Guy raised an eyebrow at Rosie's explanation of mister Steven Stone. He had never heard anything about a 'Pokemon League before, and he only knew very vague things about Hoenn, so he paid little attention to that part. All he could even vaguely identify were the words 'master trainer.' That he could hazard a guess at. "A master trainer, really? That's pretty interesting," he replied.

For a moment or two, it seemed like Guy had forgotten all about who exactly he had set out to find, and remembrance came back to him in a jolt. He glanced around for Luke and spotted him a little way away. The swordsman walked over to his friend and gave him a friendly pat on the shoulder. "Hey, Luke, come on over and say hi to this guy. Rosie said he was some kind of 'master trainer!'"

Anonymes gave a small smile in greeting to the two strange Pokemon, and he was startled to see the red-eyed one prancing and dancing and bouncing about like it was a rubber ball. Why was it doing that? Was it trying to say something? Was it... trying to have fun? Anon liked fun. He wanted to have fun, too! He grinned at the red-eyed Aron's invitation to join in the dancing, and he began spinning and hovering and bouncing about as well. This was fun! Anon liked fun!

Steven genuinely enjoyed the company of other trainers, and could tell when there was a good one before him. His interest was mostly in Rosie who seemed very passionate about her interests in Pokemon. Thus he found it easy to talk openly with her.

The man chuckled lightly, "No you're right. I did take some time off from my duties as champion to search for rare stones around the world. Although at the insistence of some, I decided to come back recently."

Charlotte's introduction drew his attention and the Hoenn champ smiled and dipped his head politely. "A pleasure to meet you too Miss Charlotte." Eyes then followed Guy as he wandered over to the red headed boy, encouraging him to be social.

Steven's attention quickly went back to Rosie though as she asked him more questions. "Well, several reasons actually. I'm here representing Devon Corp, my father's technology corporation that's based on Hoenn. We're looking for business here in Kodo, to compete with Kaiba Corp, and Devon is one of the sponsors for this event actually. That's why I'm in the neighborhood anyway, and it gives me an opportunity to search for rare stones in this country too." However, Steven's smile then faded, his expression darkening just a little bit. Obviously this wasn't the only reason.

"I'm also investigating the disappearance of an important legendary in Hoenn, Kyogre. Plus, I'm sure you've seen the news lately." This drew a sigh from the man, his brow creasing in worry.

Aron watched as his white copy danced around, and was soon stepping in rhythm with the other Pokemon and the wiggling Litwick. "Aaaaron!" he cheered happily, following after the white Pokemon.

Oh. Hm.
That was interesting. Dupin just sat there, watching the Aron's antics, even as more people and pokemon gathered.
She found she had to move a couple of times, so as to not be stood upon, but was mostly left alone except for a greeting or too.
She politely, if a little guarded, nodded a greeting back.
Everything was always so fascinating for the little black and white Eevee and yet everytime she found other pokemon and people, all she wanted to do was observe. Actual social interaction seemed hard when it wasn't with Lestrade.

And speaking of said Leafeon... Lestrade had become bored. Jeremy wasn't moving anywhere soon by the looks of things and he was curious over what Dupin might be looking at too.
She was such an odd pokemon. Oh, he supposed he was too, but he always remembered being happier than his little 'sister' seemed to be as an Eevee.
The Leafeon smirked as he sauntered up behind her.
<<If you won't go say 'hi' or join in, we may as well go back to Jeremy.>>

<> Came the reply, Dupin tilting her head yet she kept her eyes on the playful pokemon nearby.

"Aron ron ron aron ron ron!" The false Aron continued on with her little tune, bobbing and bouncing and dancing as she moved along. Now that she had two others playing with her, she began to cut her own path, almost like a conga line. It might have seemed silly, but it was definitely fun for the mimic.

Soon enough the white Aron was cutting her own path away from the current gathering of trainers. She wanted to show Ivory her new friends. Ivory liked meeting Opal's new friends!

"Ah- No- no... Um... w-we don't battle." The girl turned slightly and pointed back towards the makeshift center. "I-I'm just here to set up the machines and keep them working..." Izumi looked down at the Espeon and smiled shyly. "H-hello there. Um. This is Wheatley." She motioned to the metal pokemon floating beside her.

Thank goodness the giant man didn't seem to be as terrifying as his statue, which calmed the blue haired girl enough that she'd ceased the wide-eyed stare.

"Ah, a machine doctor!" Dith beamed. "I have always appreciated the skills of engineers; all of those leetle tiny parts that look more or less the same to me and you just know where they go without failing it seems. Humm, and now we have introduced our pokemon, we should introduce ourselves, da? I am Dmitry Konstantinovich Vladamirin, but most people calling - sorry, call - me Dith, or Dima, I don't really mind which." Still smiling, Dith extended one massive hand towards the tattooed young woman. "Pleased to meet you, miss...?" Ah, this would mean that he would be shaking her metal hand. Would that be alright with her? Presumably she'd wear a glove over it if she wave sensitive about it, unless the cloth would get caught up in the mechanisms? Mmh, well, it was up to her whether or not she wanted to shake hands, if she didn't choose to that was fine by him.

When Guy moved away, Rosie's gaze also followed his progress, stepping to the side a little, before smiling softly, when he went over to get Luke.
Guy really was a god friend to Luke, he seemed to always consider the younger man.
And Guy was right, bumping into a League Champion in Kodo wasn't something that happened often AT ALL, Luke wold probably benefit from meeting him. Especially since they've been working on becoming stronger trainers.

Her smile remained on her lips as she waited for them to join, glancing over to Seraphine who still seemed like she wasn't to pleased with anything right now. Rosie tilted her head at her, giving her an friendly, encouraging look that told her 'its okay'
Before looking back over to Steven when he continued to talk, listening with growing interest.

Eyebrows arched, hearing a much nicer reason for him being here, Company representative, she remembered when her mother would do that in Johto for the company she worked for.
And for rock hunting, she wondered if Kodo would be good for that.

"Than we have your family to thank for this festival!" she beamed. That was so wonderful, things like this, especially ones that held trainer event battles were always something to look forward to, especially now.

"My sister had a dream to work at Kaiba corp before she went to train pokemon. From what I heard from her they're the only tech company on Kodo, Some competition for them would be pretty good."

Kodo was better with their industries then with pokemon it seemed, and having a family that was based mostly in the industry, she understood a -little- bit of what this meant.

Her smile faded a little when the conversation turned a little more serious, the champion mentioned the missing Kyogre, and whats been happening on Kodo news.

"Kyogre is missing?" She asked, with eyes widening in surprise, she knew that was a legendary, said to be located in Hoenn, but... "But than why would Kodo-" She paused before she finished the question, biting her lip. "So does that mean Team Rocket might have something to do with it?"
At this, she looked back over at Luke, concern growing.
She couldn't think of any other reason why someone would look in Kodo for a missing Legendary.

She nodded again at the mention of the news, reaching a hand up to place it on Melody's back.
"There hasn't been very much new news since the cops sound that one underground bunker that was here in the city..." She sounded really disappointed about that, she didn't want her city to be home to something so horrible. But the more she looked into it, the more she found an increase of Team Rocket activity in Kodo... more stories of head broken trainers, stolen artifacts and destroyed buildings.
"All of us are hoping for the best..."
