By little... wait, that's right. You guys know nothing of Personality/Real Life.
stare ::laughs:: And your what 15? 16? How cute. Do tell us then of personality/real life. I'm not meaning to antagonise you (well, I am a little but its to make a point.) kiddo but you sound like a lot of my friends at that age. And all of them now, no matter how much they had exprienced up until they were 15/16, realize they didn't know what real life was like then.
But, you seem to be getting offended at people that can't make the Aeris/Sephiroth connection. So... I'll use some textbook PSY to explain why even under the best of situations... Aeris and Sephiroth probably wouldn't have clicked. Meaning, I'll use Sephiroth pre-mental breakdown.
Pre-mental breakdown Sephiroth personality analyse:
Rather you take it from his rank in his profession, his gestures, or simply the way he communicates. Sephiroth shows signs of the classic alpha-male. He carries himself at a higher level than the typical person. (Not that anyone can really blame him.) The classic alpha-male typically does not take well to shots to his ego and prides himself on his ability as well.
Sephiroth never really showed concern to others. He defends them as an officer of SOLDIER... but like many people in a profession for an extended period of time he seems quite numb and unrealising of this. If you remember Tifa descibing "nice" Sephiroth as quite cold. And unlike Cloud... Sephiroth does not seem to be using the cold stoic guy as a front. That seems to be his genuine personality. Sephiroth also many signs of independency.
Now... Aeris was attracted to Cloud... but Cloud used the alpha-male personality as a front. If you remember whenever Cloud demonstrated traits of being "cool" Aeris made fun of him. Cloud was not really an alpha-male so he either laughed (well... once) or shrugged it off. Where as generally an alpha-male would have taken offense. Also... whenever Cloud attempted to be protective of Aeris she rebelled but later thanked him for the concern and help. This would more than likely annoy and confuse Sephiroth.
Now... although at first Cloud stated that others didn't concern him he proves otherwise time and time again. Others never seemed to concern Sephiroth... even as a "nice guy" he only showed interest in himself and his work. Now Aeris... once realising this she'd probably would come to despise this trait in him. Aeris seems like the type that wants to spread joy through herself to others. And Sephiroth does not seem like the type to be resiprative to this.
Lastly... Sephiroth's independency.... Aeris has a mantality similiar to that of a Nurse Betty. Meaning... she shows signs of being attracted to a type of man that needs to be taken care of... rather emotionally, physically, maternally, or even politically. Independent men would like Sephiroth would find this smothering and this would leave Aeris feeling useless and unappreciated.
In the end... a relationship with Aeris and nice Sephiroth would more than likely be a short relationship based primarily on passion. The likelihood of it growing is slim with their personality types. They are too alike of fields that would work better polar and they are too polar in fields that would work better alike.
Now... as for dead Aeris going for dead Sephiroth.... first off again... he killed her and I think even sweet Aeris would have a problem forgiving that. Secondly... AC proves that Sephiroth(well... the main evil clone at least.) is not actually dead. Thirdly... remember the cycle of the lifestream. When a living thing dies unless the soul is to go to the promise land then when a person dies the soul re-enters the lifestream. The lifestream intermingles and is redistributed into a new living thing. Meaning that a bit of lifestream that had made up Sephiroth has now been reborn with other dead people as: a baby boy, a cat, two girls, a litter of puppies, etc. (Its somewhat like Hinduism) So even with the good Sephiroth dead he's some what reborn now and Aeris is in the promise land.
Listen, little one, if you like the coupling that's one thing; more power to you. But if someone disagrees with you and you don't like it... either be nice or have the fortitude to fill the void of nothingness within our puny brains you claim we have with some back up behind your insult... Because you do have to do that in real life after all.
