He'd made his way to a local bar, scanning the streets for a bank, when he heard the gun shots echoing through the air. Ducking behind a pillar fast enough to turn down his invisibility, he made a mad dash into the street. As he did, he noticed just in time that a car was turning the corner rapidly in order to make the light. Perfect. The vehicle lined up perfectly with the young man, slamming into his legs. Pierce's mind reacted with lightning speed - he immedietly collapsed, acting as though he'd actually suffered damage from the car, knowing the driver would be unable to proceed while he lay in the path of the vehicle. Sure enough, after a few moments of trying to drive away from the scene with no success, the driver gave up and opened his door. The instant Pierce could see the man's cheap shoes exit the car, he lept to his feet and shot off in the direction of the gunshots.
He skidded to a halt outside the store, surveying the scene before crouching out of sight. As quick as he could, he removed his torn undershirt, wrapping it around his head like a face mask. He could feel a dull pain in his muscles - he hadn't burned off all the energy from the car yet, and his body was beginning to strain from the pressure. He'd have to be fast. He chose to ditch his coat - it was too distinctive. He left it in a heap on the ground next to the store, and peered inside once again. He noticed the cameras, but knew they wouldn't be able to make a clear image of his face or hair with the shirt around his head. Turning himself invisible, he snuck into the building, using the various reflective surfaces to scan the places he couldn't see with ease. After a few moments, he noticed Andrea crouched behind cover. Damn. I had a feeling this would happen. It never goes smooth...why can't things ever go smooth? Just once, I'd like something to go along with the gorram plan... With the best caution he could muster, he snuck through the store and sidled up next to Andrea. "Looks like you're having a good time, fearless leader. What's the situation? I need details, give me data." he muttered to her as he peered around again, taking in their surroundings. Maintaining his camouflage, he crept out from cover, using the reflective surfaces to lead himself to where the punk and his hostage were. I must say, I've been looking forward to this. ↳Some accidents happens within a mile away from home. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SIlence Is the key… Akita listens to Andrea and nodded. That was fine; she and Rorik would go ahead and help the man that needed help while she would go get some items. She looks at Rorik and smiled warmly, before gesturing for him to head towards the male on the other side of the street. Once they started walking she hummed a soft melody. She was in some good mood today, which was... well pretty weird. There weren’t any negative thoughts around, only good ones or stressful ones, but that made her mood go up a bit more. More like she forgotten about the situation she was in and how she should feel down, sad and scared but she feels the complete opposite. Once Rorik and her cross the street and was close by the unknown man, she felt a thought that was meant for her enter her brain. Her eyes darted towards the store where Andrea was in. She and Rorik was away from the store, but when she heard about her giving her direction to know what the other guys were thinking to give her a head ups about the fight. Akita blink in terror, her hands beside her was clenched a bit, but once it was started, it was over. She shook her head a bit, wishing she could or would’ve done something to help her out.
Akita let out a sigh, her mood definitely changed from that single thought. Her eyes went back to the man who was looking at them two oddly. She put up a warm smile. ” Why hello their, I see that you need help with you bags there,” Akita said warmly, pointing towards the bags on the floor and then letting her arms fall to the side. The man looks at them both oddly, before smiling a bit when Akita had spoken about the bags and helping. ”Why yes, How did you know?” The man asks her, one of his eyebrows rose a bit. ”Just the way you look, I’ve seen many people confused when they need help” Akita responded back to the man. It was of course a lie, but she needed to think on her feet and that what had come to her mind at the moment. ” Oh I see, that is understandable, but I need help to bring my bags at home, is that okay?” The man said, his lips turning into a frown. Akita looks at Rorik, but then shrug, they needed the money and that was fine. ”and of course Ill pay for the help, ten dollars each” the man said. Akita smiled a bit, taking the two bags on the floor. ”That fine”[ color] Akita said with her voice being calm and relaxing. She could read the man thoughts, and how thankful they were to help him. The man nodded and grabs another of his bags, before he gestured with one of his hands with the bags to follow him. Akita looks at Rorik and shrug softly, only hoping for him to grab the bags that were left for him to grab. She then walked behind the man silently, looking around the place to see where they were heading. Rorik bit his lip and blushed brightly when Andrea told him to go with Akita. He had not been alone with a girl for any length of time before. He follwed Akita close behind and was prepared to hold or handle anything for her. The music blared in his ears as they walked across the street. He did not speak but he listened to the man and looked at Akita. She shrugged and then they motioned to the bags.
Rorik picked up the ones left over and followed Akita. "I-I can take the others Akita..you..dont have to carry them." He blushed again and ducked his head so that his blonde locks hid his eyes and face from her. What that right to say? The man always took the bags from the girl right? Not letting her carry them. ↳Some accidents happens within a mile away from home. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SIlence Is the key… Akita kept her guard up a bit, and keeping her mind actually sent on the male in front of them to make sure it was nothing fishy or anything that would end up Rorik and her into a big mess. Akita blink a bit has she heard Rorik talk to her. She turn her head to face him and smile slightly ”I’m fine Rorik, I can carry them” She said warmly, watching has he ducked his head so he can hide from his hair. She smile warmly again at him, wondering why he seemed to be scared or at least, from what she can tell, embarrassed on being with her and this unknown male.
Akita turn her attention back to the male who cough to get there attention. She flushed when she read his thought about her and Rorik. ”So how long have you guys been together?’ The man asked, raising one of his eyebrows at them, his voice a bit amused. Akita blink in surprised on what the male just said which made her look down a bit. Akita then smiled warmly, before answering the man back. ”W-We aren’t together has a couple, we are just friends” She said calmly and soothingly. ”Why you think that?” she asked, a bit curious on what made the male think that Rorik and her were dating. ” I don’t know to say, but when I see a girl and a guy together I just assume they are dating and not friends like” The man said, shrugging his shoulders. ”Sorry to think that, so anyways, I haven’t gotten you two names, First mines is Robert” Robert said, introducing himself and glance back them. Akita listens and wonders why he would assume something like that, but then again it was something most people would see. Akita then had to think of a fake name for them both, if she gives him there real name, someone would ask and then it be trouble. ”Nice to meet you Robert, My name is Susan and this is my friend Jake” Akita, A.k.A Susan said introducing them with fake names of course. Akita hope Rorik didn’t mind her saying that his fake name was Jake. ”Well nice to meet you Susan and Jake, anyways we close to where I live so hang on there” He said, chuckling at the end. When Robert look away from her, Akita look back at Rorik and mouth hope you didn’t mind. Though she can speak through his mind, she was afraid that it would also go through Robert mind has well, since she is still learning a bit on that issue. She then shrugged apologetically.
Akita eyes flicker to the man, Robert, which was in front of them. His mind went a bit blank before he started thinking random stuff which made her tilt her head slightly to the left. What just happen to his mind at the moment? Was there something Robert was keeping to himself? Or whatever it was that his mind just went blank for a second and then return to it random thoughts on how he was going to cut the grass, feed his dog, and put the grocery away. Akita let out a sigh; it was silent a bit so it wasn’t like it was a bit noticeable. Akita look around them, from the city they were just in to be surrounded by different looking houses made her curious and wonder how far they walked. She clenched and then unclenched the bags, since it was getting a bit numb but it was probably from holding it too long.
