Time was going by slowly had what seemed to be a time passer only made him want to jump right into learning more suitable for him. Since he wanted to jump right in he thought learning more chunnin level jutsu would be sort of a warm up.

Centering his chakra into his body he forced it into one spot which was his hand. Ever since his dealing with Katon techniques he grew more in chakra control. Sending his chakra into the palm of his hand he molded it into lightning that he then shot from his hand. Practicing more on it he was quickly able to throw blast of lightning out continuously.

Artimes walked through the gate and into the training grounds. She watched the other shinobi perform a jutsu he was apparently trying to learn , while keeping her chakra suppressed to a undetectable level. She walked to a tree nearby and drew her kodachi silently. Being careful to keep her chakra supressed she began an exercise her deceased sensei had taught her before he went on his final mission. It was a simple tree climbing exercise but to her it was a bit more complicated. Instead of releasing a constant amount of chakra to remain in contact with the tree she had to learn to release it only when her feet touched the tree , and then to reseal it the moment her foot lost contact with the bark. This would ensure maximum concealment with her chakra suppression technique. Each time she attempted the climb she would make a slash mark into the tree, and every time it was a little higher. Within a few hours she had about mastered it. And this suppression method was doing wonders for her chakra control. She took a break and sat under the tree sighing. As she sat there she took out the weapons and tools in her pack and a single rag along with a wet stone. She meticulously cleaned and sharpened each and every piece paying special attention to the details of every weapon. When she was done with the small tools she drew her kodachi from her sheath and worked the stone around it tapering it to perfection. She lightly toughed the blade to her hand and when she lifted it a single drop of blood fell onto the blade. Satisfied with the form she cleaned the blood off the weapon and replaced in back in its scabbard. She placed the stone back in her shirt pocket and put the rag into her bag. she began to get tired and started to nod off again. Her hand instinctively went to the hilt of her blade and she seemed to stir every time the person training moved. It wasnt a very still sleep but she was getting rested. Oddly her chakra seemed to stay suppressed when she slept. It seemed she had gotten used to using this state. Her tenketsu seemed empty and any sensor that happened by would think she was a corpse if she wasnt careful. It didnt help she was so pale.

Artimes stirred but didnt move much otherwise. She was aware of the person calling to her but she didnt quite know how to react. Her hand made a single seal while the other rested on her sword. Her eyes stayed shut.

At the statement of rank and status her eyes snapped open. She hurredly got to her feet and offered a deep bow. "It is your village...you may go where you wish. Im not trying to cause trouble. Yes i am from kumogakure. " Her eyes remained low and she was ashamed by her act of hostility. as minute as it was. She was still keeping her chakra suppressed to nothing."My name is Artimes Sandetsetsu and im trying to learn a few styles to better defend myself. Its proving difficult and there isnt really any way to truly test it. Id be hard pressed to find an enemy nin this deep into your country Mizukage-sama...Im not sure what i am suppose to do for this war effort but i know i am a tool to be pointed at the enemy. I will do my duty no matter the cost."

She raised her eyebrow in slight shock. "You , the mizukage, would take time out of your day to help a lowly genin with her styles? I am not one to refuse you so if you wish i would be honored to accept your help." She eyed the mizukage for a moment. She didnt trust many anymore. She felt he may have an ulterior motive for helping her. But she was about to pass up lessons from a legend."would you like to assess my abilities before teaching me?"

She smiled and drew her blade slowly. "That is my forte. Are there any rules to this spar or is it as combat?" Her blade came up to her face and she licked the steel lightly moving the blade so it was pointed towards the mizukage in a horizontal fashion." to injure you could be seen as treason. Not that i expect to win."her left empty hand came up in a single seal. 3 regular bushin popped up beside her. She made no effort so far to conceal her location.

She nodded and sent two clones in opposite directions of each other. When they reached what she believed their peak she had them impale themselves on the swords they were carrying causing them to dispel in large clouds of smoke. She sent the third up the middle through the smoke and directly at the Mizukage while she backpedaled silently into the trees around their arena. She made sure her chakra was suppressed to nearly nothing and stopped the level just short of becoming dizzy.The clone slashed her kodachi horizontally attempting to cut across the opponents chest starting from the left then slash to the right finishing with a back leg kick with her right leg to the mizukage's neck. she had it speak as it did this"Know your opponent, and you need not fear the outcome of a thousand battles!" The words were a screen for the noise she made entering the trees. she found a position which she could see well enough from that offered decent cover. The she whispered another bushin and had the 2 begin to quietly circle the arena to different locations.
