A guild which I am currently in uses that kind of system. It is indeed good but it causes sudden slowness of posts and movement but it is more logical in terms of sense and it encourages interaction with more members of the guild.

I was in a guild that did something like that! I think it was a pokemon guild though, so I'm not sure if it applies here.

Travel is a major issue with things like this. That's why travel should be made convenient.
Don't force people to make big long posts about travelling unless they want to. As long as they leave a note they're moving to a different location it should be fine. However. Make roleplay mandatory if two people are passing through a location at the same time. Each location should be small enough that they will at least be aware of eachother right?

At least three of the suggestions are intended to be 'LOLSORANDOMXD'.
Can I suggest that there might be a time and a place for it and it's not a suggestions thread.
