"I think you're right. It smells familiar. I can't tell from where..." Emi muttered. Normal animals strayed away from Emi normally, and this one was practically asking for a fight. Not really thinking, Emi had already revealed so much already, she revealed her fangs. She hissed and barred her teeth and hissed at the dog, making it her dare to try something. Sylvia cursed aloud when the top hat girl voiced her opinion, it coming out as a sharp bark. When the vampire girl talked, Sylvia felt a slight coldness when she said Sylvia smelled familiar. Sylvia was quickly distraced when the vampire revealed her fangs and hissed. Sylvia let out a louder bark and ran forward. She jumped at the vampire, but shifted into a bat. Screeching, Bat-Sylvia tore at the vampire's face, trying to distract it so the boy could get away.

Ryoku mouth was left hanging, the dog wasn't really part of his plans but...it worked with it. With them distracted by the dog, Ryoku took the chance to pull out his nearly completed rifle, it shifted from a simple grey metal box to a smooth looking rifle with the touch of his skin. "Just gotta... connect power" as Ryoku openned up the main frame, all he had to do was connect the circuits to the power, and then load his newest invention with his special ammunition. He was waiting for this moment test it out, without hurting them of course, his method was to take down his opponents, not out.

Sylvia flaied her wings pitifully, flapping them furiously, trying to get out of the clutch of the top hat girl. She mentally cursed herself for getting caught. Sylvia had learned from experience that once a shapeshifter was somewhat contained, it was harder for them to transform. Sylvia kept shifting into different types of birds, hoping the top hat girl would loose her grip.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Emi hissed at the bat when it was caught. "Annoying little piece of-..." Emi cut herself off, snapping back to look at the boy. "What the hell does he think he's doing?" she said upon seeing that he was holding something. Emi started slowly for the boy, watching him for signs of movement. She didn't think about charging the boy yet. She might get to him faster if she didn't.

Rosanna kept her grip tight. She held the small creature to her face."Hey"She said to it."Change into your human form and I'll let you go"She lied. Rosanna walked over to the vampire and held the shape shifter in front of her."Do you know who it is?"She asked then glared at the animal.Rosanna held up her index finger and poked it in the stomach. She laughed a little then poked it harder.

Sylvia let out a string of curses at both of the girls, her voice coming out as angry chirps. When the top hat girl poked her, Sylvia struggeled harder, snapping her beak at the girl's finger, hitting her target and not letting go. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "The scent is familiar." Emi said simply. "I don't know for sure who it is." Emi said, keeping her eyes on the boy. She recognized now the thing the human was holding was a gun and Emi tensed. It didn't look like a normal one. Emi watched the boy, ready to move when he fired. (( Gah, writer's block DX ))

"Ow!"Rosanna yelled."You stupid animal!"She flicked the shape shifter on the head and kept poking it. Rosanna looked at the girl then back at the human boy.She could see why the vampire had tensed. The boy was holding some sort of weapon. She froze.Loosing her grip the animal got loose.

Va'laria'lutgur'lian to Moshi'ngor'nal ✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠ The siren stretched luxuriously, her tail fins lazily moving through the water. The low humming that could always be heard in the ocean surrounded her, reassuring her that all was well. Va'laria'lutgur'lian to Moshi'ngor'nal, the most powerful siren to have ever walked on land or swim through the oceans had just woken from a long nap. After another successful kill, she had needed to rest, and returned to her secret lair. It was located in the middle of the place known to humans as the Bermuda Triangle. It was hard to get to due to the amount of storms in the area and the unpredictability of the currents, but was no problem for an experienced swimmer such as herself. She had found a natural underwater cave that was hidden by large clumps of coral and underwater vegetation. There were plenty of fish for her to eat, so long as she did not gorge, making it a perfect place to return to after wearying trips to find other sirens or to land.
With little effort, she pushed herself up from the ocean floor, accompanied by a little puff of silt that made it so soft. A flick of her tail fins pushed her speedily through the water and she left her cave behind, snatching an unwary fish as she went by. Within minutes, she had devoured the fish and was coursing through the ocean, headed for the east coast of the United States. She had a target to find and begin cultivating. They were a member of that accursed Underground Society, the group of humans and monsters dedicated to hunting down others like herself. He was a human male, codenamed 'Prince', and reputed to be a deadly foe. Her client had paid quite a handsome sum to have the boy's head delivered to him. She'd accepted the job, hoping he would be more of a challenge than the last few she'd killed. They'd pathetically surrendered and begged for mercy.
For a normal aquatic creature such as a mermaid or a siren, it would take days to swim from the Bermuda Triangle to the United States, but Va'laria'lutgur'lian was not ordinary. She had consumed the flesh of dozens of sirens, gaining their power in addition to hers. As a result, she could make the trip in several hours rather than days. Once the sea floor began to rise dramatically, signalling dry land was near, she began to slow down, not wanting to disturb the military's radar sensors. If something came into U.S. waters with the speed of an underwater missile, they would panic and make it impossible for her to make her way on land.
It wasn't too long before she found a secluded beach surrounded by treacherous terrain. Most humans found it too difficult to get to, so it was rarely visited. Va'laria'lutgur'lian always used it in order to transform from her mermaid-like form to a more human-like form. She rested in the shallow water for a moment, then surged up out of the water. As she did, her body morphed into that of a voluptuous human woman with a head of thick black curls. With long legs, she strode through the water until she reached the beach. She approached a large rock that was surrounded by sparse clumps of seaweed, then knelt to dig in the sand. It was still damp from high tide, and was easily shifted. She finally found what she was looking for, pulling a large, sturdy plastic bag out of the hole. In it was a human outfit, complete with accessories and shoes. Humans found naked women to be very disconcerting except when in heat, so she'd used some of her treasure to buy various outfits. They were all hidden around this rock, marked by the seaweed clumps.
She wriggled into the change of clothes and quickly put on the necklace and bracelets. Va'laria'lutgur'lian held the high-heeled shoes in one hand, since they would be impractical for traversing over the rough terrain ahead of her. She only paused long enough to hide the plastic bag and refill the hole she'd dug, once again marking it with seaweed, then set off.✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠✠ ϯhε ȿɨɼεȵ aѡaɨϯȿ ϯɧεε, ȿɨnʛɨnʛ ȿɸnʛ fɸɼ ȿɸnʛ...

Sylvia took her chance and flew out of reach of the top hat girl, and away from the vampire. She flew down the alley way towards the boy. She fluttered up next to him and shifted back into a Dobberman. The boy was holding some sort of rifle, and Sylvia was glad she had moved out of the way. Sylvia wondered who this boy was. He seemed to know about the monsters. Why else would he be not loosing his mind? Plus, he had a weapon. This was a guy who knew some things. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Emi watched the shapeshifter zip past her head and down the alleyway. Emi sniffed the air again, catching the scent of the shapeshifter. It was a female scent, and it was defiantley familiar. Emi shook her head, pushing the thoughts away for later. She had the boy to deal with first. "Watch out for the thing he's holding." Emi growled to the top hat girl, stalking forward and towards the boy. Her fangs were sticking out the sides of her mouth, and her eyes were cold and hard.

(( Um... Sylvia never turned back into her human form. She just shifted into a Dobberman again. I don't think Ryoku saw Sylvia as a cat either, just a Dobberman, a bat, and multiple birds.. ))

Ryoku was to focused on and missed what really distracted the two ladies, he manages to get his rifle turned on finally, as his rifle was already loaded with three cylinder shape. It wasn't really ment to hurt monsters in this case scenario, Ryoku managed to turn on his laser green light, and pointed at the center of the two people that were going to double team him.
"I really didn't want to do this but, *Sigh* forgive me..." as squeezed the trigger. Ryoku made it "look-like" he missed intentionally as it impaled into the surface of the ground between the assassin and the vampire.
