Bryony came back around the corner with a relieved smile. "There's nothing up there, at least from what I saw. Then again, I don't know this place like you do." She tilted her head to the side and sighed as she looked at Arthur.
"Maybe...you and I should go check it out...alone...you know for their safety..." She nearly twirled a bit of her long black curls.

Bryony let a happy smile show as he agreed. She inhaled a breath of air and let it out in a lovey sigh. Following him as they turned the corner , she walked a bit in silence, but kept looking at him with a sweet smile, sometime she'd bit her bottom lip and smirk. Occasionally her hand would subtly brush his.
"Have I ever told you how awesome I think you are?" This time she did gingerly take hold of his hand.

Some thought I was getting special treatment from 'daddy'...not really, unless I gave lots of offering for special treatment...But it hurt, that I couldn't make friends like most campers...I had a bad childhood, it made me...angsty...but I saw you and you were kinda neat, I mean powers over the one place people fear to go and will eventually go anyways..." She gushed her heartfelt memories and thoughts. "You always seemed nice to me.."
The fact that she was on a time sensitive mission and that she was waltzing through the underworld didn't stop her, she was love struck. "What did you think of me?" She asked in a more apprehensive tone. She was acting like it was a first date or something.

Arthur blinked, surprised. Even he hadn't expected that. His cheeks flared and he cleared his throat. He placed his hand on a rock beside him and cut his palm on a sharp point. "Shoot," he cursed, jerking his hand back and examining the wound. It was just a small cut, not very deep.

Arthur gently pulled his hand out from her grasp. "Keep the nectar for bigger injuries," he said as he saw her pulling out the flask. "And, um, it's alright. That was just . . . very sudden."

NO! Arthur was about to say, but something held him back. He didn't want her to like him. That wouldn't be fair to Eros. Arthur had made it a necessity not to irk any God or Goddess unnecessarily. But on the other hand, if he just told Bree he didn't like her, there was always a chance that she may still hope to be with him. Arthur looked at her and smiled a little. "Okay," he said and bent down to kiss her.

Her hands came up to pull him closer. Yet something was nagging at the back of her mind. What was it that was ruining this special moment for her?! It was like she had forgotten something but when she tried to think of it she couldn't and it slipped further away.
