Lou simply rolled his eyes at the boy's struggles. "Don't let him go now. We're far from finished." He said to the creature, a hand lifting to run fingers through his unkempt hair. "Yes. Well. Considering you're immortal, your kin's opinion of you should be a great concern." And then the insults start. "Tell me, what if she dumps you?" Lou asked, leaning in to look Klyde directly in the eyes with an intimidating glare. "What happens when she takes an interest in her own kind... Whatever the hell that is... And leaves poor dumb Klyde behind? I'll tell you what happens. You end up alone. For the rest of your centuries... Like good 'ol Lou." But of course, Lou liked being alone. Moreover, he could walk into a vampire shindig without having to worry about getting the boot... Since he was generally stronger than most of the others.
Desmond let out a muffled grunt as his head made contact with the ground, followed by the rest of him.
That had been... Painful. But, not as painful as some things. Knowing that this was what Mitsu had to put up with... Now that was painful.
Staring at the blade's edge of a scalpel made him imagine Mitsu in this same position... Scared and alone... The very idea crawled under his skin and made his insides seethe. Though, as far as fear, it caused very little for himself. Thinking back to a certain previous night in the alleyway, he recalled an excruciating burning sensation that came back in his mind at the darkest moments of his days.
And then Suto started talking. Started speculating on how he felt... As if he knew every little goddamn thing.
"No, you really can't understand." Desmond said simply, doing his best to hide the great rage he felt for the scientist. "And I don't really feel like talking to you about it. Or anything, honestly." He sighed, glancing away from Suto nonchalantly. Something told him that wouldn't be the end of it, though...

Klyde nearly snarled feeling the creature's grip tighten around him all the more at Lou's command. "Dammit!" He hissed looking at the elder vampire with a glare.
His angry expression faltered a little as Lou continued, the elder vampire hitting one of the questions that constantly ran through Klyde's mind. What if she got tired of him and wanted someone else? He couldn't offer much outside of companionship. In the end, would that be enough? Riyo was extremely intelligent, more so than Klyde could fathom, he was....well he was not.
Despite the troubling thoughts plaguing him now, Klyde forced a bit of a smile. "So are you saying you're dumb too? Because that's what I got out of it." Still a smart a** despite his current position.
"I'm sorry," Suto said calmly twirling the scalpel once more before bringing it down only a couple of centimeters from Desmond's eye. "I don't think I gave you much of an option. Though, I wonder. Is your true fear of your own well being or of your little pet dog's?"
Suto didn't wait very long for an answer, looking to the creature that had Desmond bound. "Tell me, do you by chance know what it is that has you? Extra credit if you get it right." Suto teased, pulling the scalpel back to trace the tip lightly over Desmond's cheek.

For a moment, it seemed like Lou's tactics had actually managed to get under Klyde's skin... Until he added his own snide little remark.
"Dear little Klyde.." Lou cooed and grabbed a hold of the younger vampire's cheeks with a pinch. "Should I send you back to your ******** buddy castrated? You'll be twice as useless then."
Which gave him an idea. "Unless she's already getting it from somewhere else." Ohoho, yes they were going down this route. "I just happened to see that article about her and the janitor, since some cunts think the latest gossip is more important than the black plague." Lou started, letting go of Klyde's cheeks, but not before giving them a couple of playful slaps. "They'd make a nice pair, no? He's got his own place, makes decent money... Didn't punch her father in the mouth. I mean, she already cleans his house. If that's not a sign that they're ********' around, I dunno what is." Did Lou really think they were? ******** if he knew, ******** if he cared.
Desmond couldn't hold back a gasp as the scalpel came flying towards his eye, causing him to visibly flinch. When he realized Suto wasn't actually gonna go through with it, his eyes slowly reopened. That b*****d.
He hated hearing him call Mitsu a dog... With all his being... But, he knew the game being played. Lou had played it with them since before they were teenagers. If he showed it bothered him... Suto would only use it more.
When attention was called to the... Thing holding him, Desmond glanced down at it. "One of your parents? I can see the resemblance. Though you really should treat your mom better." The sharp tip of the metal made Desmond cringe as he felt little droplets of old blood gather on his cheek, though there was little pain to it. He'd never thought about just how sharp those things have to be... To cut through flesh like butter.

"Ow, fuc..." Klyde couldn't quite say the word right with his cheek being pinched. It was like some psychotic granny had been given vice grips to do this task.
Eyes narrowing on his elder vampire, Klyde let out a low growl as he brought up the latest article that had been floating around. That was obviously a sore spot Klyde had yet to sooth over. "They aren't ******** around. Riyo wouldn't do that." He tried to defend after Lou gave his face a few slaps. Though whether or not the sleazy janitor would try to take advantage of her he had no idea.
"Are you done spouting your bullshit because I'm done hearing it." Klyde wished Desmond was close by. As a pair they often handled this a little better, Klyde knew he was no match on his own.
"My mother...that's a good one," Suto mused pulling the scalpel away that now had small traces of old blood on the tip. "I think that will cost you some marks." The words out of his mouth were calm and even like he meant marks on a paper, unfortunately for Desmond that was far from what he meant.
"They are called After Images. Shadows and souls of .....creatures that have lost their body." Suto went with 'creatures' because they had never been human, far from it actually. "They listen rather well, unless hungry." With an easy movement the scientist hovered the blade over the creature a long tendril reaching out for the small traces of blood on the tip of the scalpel. As soon as the creature touched the blood it's main body began to react, shivering and rippling all over as if overjoyed. Slowly it began to make its way up Desmond's body, crawling and stretching until a thin black wisp of black came up to caress the cut across Desmond's cheek to absorb the blood.
"But again, where were we?" Suto asked, tapping the side of the blade against Desmond's neck. He knew the vampire couldn't bleed to death nor did the vampire know the extent that the creature before him would go to possess a new body, but he could save that for later. "I think we were covering you basic usefulness or lack there of. How did your little scuffle go that landed you in the hospital? I heard it was quite the dozy. You must have put up quite the fight." Suto grinned because he knew that wasn't the case at all. It hadn't taken too much effort to take the vampire out from what he had heard.

"Ooo, touchy~" Just the sore spot Lou had been poking around for... Now to shove his finger in it.
"Do you really know that?" With a smirk, Lou draped an arm around Klyde's shoulder. "I mean, really. Why is she cleaning his house? You don't do that for just anybody. And how much do you really know about her? I'll bet she's never even said 'I love you'." Because she seemed like that kind of pseudo-poetic whiny little b***h who over-thinks everything.
Cost him some marks? They weren't in ******** class. No class he'd signed up for, at least.
As Suto explained the creature in a calm and collected fashion that didn't particularly suit the topic, Desmond had thought about asking just what they ate... Though, he didn't have to.
Eyes widening as he felt the creature practically orgasm after tasting the blood off the scalpel, he realized this was going down a very deep hill... And that the time for smart talk was over.
The feel of the metal against his neck made his body stiffen, now that he had an idea of what this creature was capable of... "...I'm sure you know how it went." Desmond pushed out. "I got my a** handed to me." No point in lying about it... Though it did make him relive the fact that he was about as useful to Mitsu as a drop of water to a desert.

Klyde growled again as Lou continued. "I don't know, but I trust her," Klyde spat back trying to pull away from the arm draped over his shoulder to no avail. But the more Lou spoke the more things he seemed to get right on the mark. Klyde didn't know much about Riyo, one thing after the other seemed to pop up in a usually nasty surprise. And it was true that she had never said 'I love you' but....he hadn't said it either. He was afraid too....the big bad vampire was afraid to confess a feeling.
"If your just going to beat the s**t out of me why don't you just get it over with and be on your way," And at that moment Klyde made the worst decision of his short life, but he was tired of hearing his elder speak. Even if the words echoed his own worries. With a sharp turn of his head toward Lou, Klyde spat in his face since he was close and there really wasn't much else he could do. It wasn't until he had completed the action that he realized the kind of grave he had just dug for himself, but there wasn't taking it back at this point.
"Yes, I imagined something like that since you were in the hospital for a couple of days. Vampires are held in high regard for their strength and resilience, so what happened to you?" Suto asked as his scalpel made a thin line across Desmond's neck. Sensing the new wound the creature swarmed to that area, the black latching onto Desmond's neck trying to draw out the old blood. It didn't seem to matter that Desmond wasn't a living and breathing creature. He was still made of flesh like anything else.
"I'm also curious to know what it's like having the tables reversed with something feeding off you for a change." He knew the vampires didn't just drink the bottled crap the school gave them. Lou had told him that stuff was garbage so naturally the two boys probably went hunting if they weren't supplied feeding sessions by their little trollops. Though, that thought process seems to trigger something and Suto reached into his pocket yet again to pull out a syringe. Did he go anywhere without them? Doubtful. He more than likely slept with his lab coat full to the brim with supplies.
"I may have something in mind for you yet, boy." Suto said, that curious glint in his eye as he jabbed the syringe into Desmond's neck to draw some blood from the vampire.

It seemed that Lou wasn't quite finished with Klyde... A load of ideas he had yet to place in the boy's mind...
But, those thoughts were cut short when Lou felt something wet on his face.
Backing away momentarily, he lifted his hand to touch the disgusting substance that coated his cheek, smile fading into something...
... Frightening.
Immediately, Lou took hold of Klyde's shirt, silver eyes aglow. "Leave him." He told the creature, scooping up the younger vampire and shoving him up against the brick wall in the blink of an eye. "You really are stupid." The senior vampire hissed before drawing back his hand and ramming it into Klyde's stomach.
Like Suto didn't know. That whole ******** attack was because of him. "Holy weapon... Desmond said simply, another obvious flinch as the scalpel made another cut. ******** sucks." BA DUM CHHH. Desmond hadn't realized how comical his statement was until he said it, but couldn't find the funny bone to laugh at his own accidental joke. Not while the teacher was pulling out a syringe. <********!" He shouted as the needle penetrated his neck, a pinch of anger finally in his eyes. "And what would that be?" He asked through his teeth in an almost inaudible fashion.

Klyde's eyes widened seeing Lou's expression change, a sense of fear starting to creep over his features. When Lou took hold of him and told the creature to leave, the black substance slithered away right as he was slammed against the brick wall.
"Ah!" Klyde grabbed for the wrist that had him pinned, his eyes narrowing back at Lou's despite the fear rising in his chest. He was about to kick out at his senior but his fist made contact with Klyde's stomach with such force all manner of will left him. The word pain didn't quite cover what he felt at that moment as he curled inward, suddenly feeling sick. "You a*****e..."
"Oh, I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise." Suto said drawing back the now full syringe. With care he replaced the needle with a cap and pocketed it turning back to Desmond with a smile. "It will be fun, at least for me. I will enjoy watching you destroy what you care about. It will be all the more proof of how useless you really are. Honestly, what do you have to offer the girl?"
Suto looked up for a moment when he heard the yell at the end of the alley. Seemed like Lou was having a good time, the other boy was already crying out. "Well, I don't want to leave you out of the fun. Perhaps we should join them."
As Suto stood he motioned the creature to follow. It took a moment for the creature to abandon the wound it had been leeching at to drag Desmond down the alley toward Lou and Klyde.
"Put him against the wall would you?" Suto asked. When he did the creature sped up, slamming Desmond into the wall head first before creeping up a ways to let him sit there.

"Now now, you simpleton. That's not the way to get an enraged vampire to stop beating the un-life out of you." Lou hissed and flung Klyde to the ground, only to aim a kick at the younger vampire's side. "If you want me to stop, you should beg for forgiveness."
The words Suto used drove fear deep into Desmond's heart. Destroy... What he cared about...
"More than you'll ever have..." Desmond said under his breath, but wouldn't elaborate. The scientist would just scoff.
The yell snapped Desmond out of his deep funk... If only for moments. "W-what the ******** did you do to Klyde?!" The vampire demanded to know, only now realizing that Lou was unaccounted for... Oh God...

Being thrown to the ground Klyde heard and felt something crack as Lou's foot made contact with his side. Letting out a yelp Klyde tried to block that spot from further abuse slowly rolling to his side trying to get up. "********!" He tried to will himself to get up faster but the stuff on his mind seemed to physically be weighing him down.
"You may call me a simpleton..." Klyde started as he pushed his way up until he was sitting on his knees. "But I know asking or begging for forgiveness from you isn't going to get me s**t."
"Me? Why I'm not doing anything to him. Now what I might do to you, however, that's a different story. Children need to learn their place and accept their punishment."
For the first time Suto approached Desmond to grab a fist full of his shirt and managed to lift the vampire off the ground with surprising ease. Those golden eyes seemed suddenly demonic as he forced Desmond back down to the ground with enough force to break a normal human, those long fingers curling around the young vampire's throat. "Come little lamb, its time to play."
The grip he had on Desmond's throat was suddenly crushing as he lifted the vampire up enough to drag him further down the alley toward Lou. Whatever Suto was it wasn't anything close to human. There was no way such a frail form could have that much strength.

The lovely cracking sound brought a smile back to Lou's face. Ah, he'd never gotten used to that sound. Always music to his ears.
"Well, Klyde." Lou started, his foot pushing against his back to bring him back down to the concrete with force. "You know, it couldn't hurt. At least, not like this does."
Desmond's eyes widened to the size of saucers as the scientist lifted him off the ground, his hands struggling to break free of the creature so that he could take hold of Suto's arm... To no avail. <********!" Desmond yelled much in the same fashion as Klyde when he was slammed to the ground. As he looked up at his captor's face, a chill went down his spine. "W-what are you?" Was the only appropriate question the young vampire could think of as hands tightened around his neck, the pain making him grateful that as the undead he didn't need to breathe.

Klyde let out a grunt of pain as Lou forced him back to the ground with his foot. He wanted to run, but he didn't have the ability, nor could he leave Desmond behind.
"Fine," Klyde breathed finding it hard to get enough breath to talk with Lou stepping on his back like that. "I'm sorry I spat in your face." And as much as Klyde wanted to finish that up with 'though I thought it was an improvement' he refrained.
"What am I?" Suto asked that smile drawing back his lips far enough to expose those pointed teeth that filled his mouth. "Its a curious question, if you ever visit the deepest parts of hell you may find the answer you're looking for."
"Trust me when I tell you, Desmond," The came out as a hiss, a strange noise coming from the scientist, and even creepier for him to use a first name. He never used first names. "By the end of this hour you and your little companion will have regretted ever leaving the threshold of your dorm. If you are lucky, and I mean very lucky, you will be able to crawl away from the adventure like beaten dogs. And when tomorrow comes around something else will be waiting for you, but as I said, dear boy, that is a surprise and I want you to look forward to it."
Looking up once Lou was in sight Suto threw Desmond down not far from Klyde. "You look to be having a good time." Suto mused. The scientist flexed his fingers a few times before he brought his hand up to push his glasses back up his nose, the slight light above them reflecting off the lenses.

"What a good little student." Lou cooed and removed his foot from Klyde's back after his apology. "I didn't actually think you'd do it. Which means I need to give you some sort of special reward." Though, generally the word special was nothing of the sort when Lou used it.
Desmond... Had never been so frightened by someone's appearance in all his life, and he'd seen some pretty ugly people. But the icing on the cake was that noise he called a voice... That terrible hiss that made his skin crawl. But Suto was right about one thing. He certainly regretted leaving the dorm now.
Letting out a cry as his body was flung on the ground next to Klyde, his eyes held a very apologetic look as he stared at his cousin. "I'm sorry Klyde." He mumbled quietly, trying not to focus on the two and what they might be plotting.
"Ah, of course." Lou couldn't help but smile as he watched the blonde take a second long fly through the air. "And you as well~" Hands moving to his hips, Lou stared down at the two boys with a less than warm smile. "So, what kind of cherry should we top this sundae with, my friend?"

Klyde cringed a bit despite the fact that Lou had removed his foot. The word 'special' never boded well. It more than likely just meant a different type of a abuse. Something new and probably more painful.
As Desmond joined him on the ground Klyde tried to move again, his arm wrapping around his middle. He was pretty sure he had some broken ribs so it was hindering his movement a bit. "Yeah, I'm sorry too. This evening didn't quite turn out as planned." Klyde said quietly trying not to spur an attack just for talking.
"It does brighten my day," Suto mused but suddenly began to ponder as Lou asked how they should wrap this up. As much fun as it was it would have to come to an end at some point. "I guess it depends on if you want to leave them here or dump them somewhere. We could always have them stripped of their clothes and dumped in the forest. That's not to say their punishment can't continue."
"S...Stripped of our clothes?" Klyde asked unable to not hear that part. "What kind of sick idea is that?"

It looked like Klyde was much worse for wear than Desmond... Which made him feel terrible. He didn't like this. The suspense of waiting for what would happen next to them. He wanted it to be over.
Lou was about to respond to Suto's suggestions when one of their little pupils spoke up. "Well, Mr. Adolphus." He started, turning to Suto with a wicked grin. "It looks like the peanut gallery has spoken."
