Eta Six smiled at her teammate. "Same here. Oh, and Eta Ten's here too." It was nice to see her fellow squad member in one piece.
She listened to the others speak before giving her own opinion. "I think Delta Twelve has a point. We could have some people stay here and throw seeds--if we can--while the rest of us split up and tackle the zombies." Eta VI made sure she had room before swinging up her mace so that she could rest it on her shoulder. "I'm willing to go out and help." Zombies were definitely not high on her wanted list for creatures to see in her lifetime--or at least not right now--but it was better to go out and bash a few heads than just stand in the building, twiddling her thumbs like an idiot.

Eta X's eyes watered as he tried not to gag. It was hard enough breathing in one of these gas masks, but vomiting in it would just be the end of wearing it for him. The smell of the rotting dead wasn't familiar to him, but there was no doubt it was unpleasant and unwanted. The scent was all that took his attention, up until someone mentioned zombies anyway.
Zombies? That was silly. It had to be a mistake. Zombies weren't real.. Or he at least hoped not real yet. The idea of a disease or nuclear attack that turned people into zombies always loomed at the back of the boy's mind -- a 'what if' thought for the worst possible event ever.
Eta X went up to the nearest window and peered out, positive he would see nothing of the sort, but they were of course right. Zombies -- right there, and coming after them. The items they threw seemed to be growing though -- a wall? How did something grow into a wall?! Eta X didn't worry over it more than a second. This place was weird. He knew that much by now, that and the notion walls would be useful. Very useful.
At the sound of his number, he turned to see Eta VI. That's right, she was here. The rushing fear of zombies had the boy forget he was even surrounded by others. Eta X nodded to her and the others and said, "Yeah.. yeah, I'm here," as if the fact really needed confirmation.
The idea of going outside to face the zombies made him start to panic. What if he was one of the ones that had to go out? He didn't want to face zombies. Especially not a swarm. "I-I.. all I have are bandages," he said nervously. He might have seen it as a cripple, but others would most likely be overjoyed he would be able to heal. He didn't exactly have the nerve to argue if he was asked to go out either.

Deva just stood there watching the bushes grow, feeling a little bit of a eye twitch beginning to start. Fricken bushes. That's all that was growing out of those things?! What good was that going to do any of them against a massive hoard of zombies? "Oh yay... plants. Unless one of them can start breathing fire or kicks the undead crap out of those things, I'm calling it a waste of time." she groaned while rubbing one of her hands over her mask. Good lord, if this was anything like any of the other tests, it's no wonder the others were all kinds of screwed up. Just seeing this situation made her want to crawl into some hole and wait until it was all over... though... know this place, the hole would have something even worse living in it.
"I've got to agree with the others. There is no point in staying here, the best thing right now seems to be to team up and head out. There are too many to make it safe to venture out there alone, and who knows what else if anything those damn plants do. Might turn out to hinder more than help... but it doesn't seem like staying here will be any good." Deva said, heading over in the direction of Theta 7 and the others. Zombies were bad enough as it is, but it didn't seem as hopeless if they were all in a group. Maybe they would have a shot at making this work and some of them would come out alive. She wasn't going to hold her breath with these things since it seemed that death or something else was the main goal of whoever was in control of this place. But she'd be damned if she wasn't going down without a fight.

Beta I didn't want to admit it, but...yes. Unless they could gain extra ammunition, they were sitting ducks. Tasty, tasty ducks. She crossed her arms, trying to think. Then the words reached her ears, a faint whisper.
"Wait, you have bandages?" She looked at Eta X like he was a saint. "Good. It might benefit to patch us up before they get here or we go out to face them. If we fight them, we won't be taken easily. I for one refuse to bown down and make it easy for them. If I do not survive, I will not let them take me down without a struggle. I also won't let them get to my brain or turn me into one of them. I'd kill myself before I allowed that to happen. No, death or life, I won't become an abomination. I'd sooner be tranquil."
If only she had magic. She'd magic missile those bitches so hard.
"I have just a scratch, but others might be worse then me. If so, patching ourselves up will aid us in the coming fight. Weak links break the chain after all."

Hearing Eta X and then the Beta's reaction he chose to spoke up. "I have bandages as well. And I've yet to take any injuries myself." He'd spent a lot of time traveling and on the beach.
He had seen, and attacked, that horse beast but he had not taken any injuries from it. He hadn't been in any other fights, thankfully, there had been now hooded people or anything in the fog which had grabbed him. He had been lucky, till now.

He shifted a bit as he listened to everyone talk and plan things. While it was a good way to stop from anything majorly bad happening - it also wasn't doing anything about the invasion that was lurching toward them wanting to rip into their flesh like hungry little undead hippos from a vaguely familiar boardgame he could almost recall.
"I'm going to go on ahead to see if I can take some of them down because, honestly I'm gettin' a bit antsy while they crawl closer and closer toward us," he admitted quietly, "anyone who is with me, feel free to follow. If you want to stay and toss seeds? That's cool it might actually help." Theta Seven shouldered his knapsack a bit more firmly, "It would be helpful to have someone with bandages out there I agree but we need to get going."
His apathy seemed to leave once he felt for a need of action, "I'm headin' on out," he reiterated and then turned to exit the temporary haven.

Beta I watched the first to go. "Brave man." She admired one ready to fight fot is life in such a manner.
"I like him."
If she lived she would give the one who went first a pat on the back. Or maybe an asspat. Asspats seemed very teamlike didn't they?

Taking a deep breath, Deva gathered up her courage and re-adjusted her backpack a few times while just staring at the door the other two walked out of. This was it. Time to prove her worth, be it life or death at the end at least she could say that she tried and didn't spend her time here hiding in the shadows.
"Hey guys, wait for me!" Deva called out, dagger in hand while jogging out the door to catch up with the others.

It was amusing, how they were all trying to make extravagant plans when the zombies were closing in. Theta-two felt a need once or twice to jump in with a comment, but bit her tongue more than she'd ever thought to before. An apathy for inaction was growing in her gut, spreading and jilting in her veins and yelling for her feet to move. It felt so pointless to stay here and chat up their options when the sad truth of the matter was that the zombies had already lurched into motion, moaning and dragging themselves slowly in the direction of the fort. And while many Resident Evil replays in her head reminded her that she'd successfully destroyed an entire town of zombies by chilling on a rooftop with a shotgun and plenty of bullets, real life was calling, and it was saying thats not going to work.
Finally, someone moved; someone dressed in her colors, but no one she knew very well. Straightening a bit, she laughed at his words, a sultry sound that passed her lips. Turning her head, the girl regarded her new 'teammates' with an air of here goes nothing. "I'm all for some of us staying behind; magic ********' seeds and all, but I'm not going to sit and wait for the zombies to come to me." She saluted slightly, stepping after the three who had already gone. "Here's hoping we survive this, or here's hoping we go down with a bang." Theta-two said with a laugh curling from her lips. And then she was gone.

Eta II was amazed at what he saw. Zombies..... dancing. And plants that sprang up immediately, some were MOVING. Eta II wondered why this place was never going to give him a break. Seriously, zombies and plants?!
The fact of the matter was that the zombies were approaching. Eta II wasn't convinced that those plants would be much of a defence against them. Eta II listened in to the others' conversation, keeping silent while he watched them debate. Some of the others seemed to feel that action was necessary and had begun to stream out the the building to ......
Face the zombies. Eta II wondered if he was really up to it. He had encountered crazy, absolutely whacked things the past few days but his current predicament takes the cake. Even more than getting stomped on by a giant pony of doom..... or facing a swarm of harmless monsters.... falling into a chasm that promised certain demise, Eta II feared for his brains.
He knew he had a choice.
"I'm going out too" he declared to Delta 12. All these times when he could have run away, he never did. Eta II wished he were less stupid at times.
Heading down the stairs, Eta II took out his nunchucks from his bag and readied them by his side. Bracing himself for what might be the penultimate battle, he headed out of the door.

(( I hate the derp that my computer is when switching internet connections between my dorm room and my house for the break. =3= ))
This was just crazy. Go out and meet the zombies?
Gulp.
Quick, what were the jokes for the undead? Deli's mind scrambled to fill the gap before terror could reach it first.
"I, er . . . Hmm." It took him a bit, and he did indeed stand their and fidget like a useless person while the others decided to head on ahead. This hastened the thinking process remarkably. "Oh! How many zombies does it take to screw in a lightbulb?"
Beat.
"None, Zombies can't fit in a light bulb and they don't screw!"
Those still around had the liberty of rolling their eyes. Deli himself forced a small chuckle.
"No, but seriously: how many does zombies does it take to screw in a lightbulb?"
Beat.
"Why are you watching Zombies screw in a light bulb, SHOOT THEM!" he shouted suddenly and, with a whimper, scurried after the departing people.

As everyone appeared to be moving out to face the zombies, Eta V still had the chance to listen to Deli's...questionable humor. It took him a minute to actually get what Deli was emplying, and when he did it took alot of self control to not facepalm. But hey, at least he was trying to cheer up the mood, which Eta V could admit was a good thing. He just wished his jokes were a little better
Not wanting ot be left behind, Eta V hurried after the other departing people

For some odd, inexplicable reason the ground begins to shake. It isn't the tremble that is barely noticable, nor is it the shake that makes you stumble before falling flat onto your posterior. Rather it is the sudden shake that skips straight to making you fall flat on your back, face, or side. It is from there that you get a rather charming view of the rapidly darkening sky (or of the sand should you be unfortunate enough to fall flat onto your face). In addition, you also quite easily spot four identical forms. One of them comes closer.
"You cannot do anything hiding away in there! You must come out and FIGHT!" Moments later fire consumes all, causing an explosion and knocking you into the air! Thankfully a parachute that you didn't know you had kicks in, and you gently land HERE.
(( Everyone living has now landed in the FINAL EXAM thread!
In addition, please go HERE for the offical reason behind this wrap-up. ))

Delta Eight had been going to follow the others, and help with fighting the zombies when it happened. What it was, was simple. It was some beast appearing.
Before Delta Eight could do anything, much less think of what to do or shout for help, he was thrown into the air...landing somewhere else.

One by one, people began to leave the fort and Delta Twelve silently watched them leave. He was tempted to follow after them, but decided to stay. If the mysterious figure refused to let him throw more seeds, then he would leave. It was important to explore other options before coming to a final conclusion. He began to head back downstairs when a large tremor sent him tumbling to the ground. “W-What?!” Twelve wildly searched for the source, but a rumbling voice filled his senses and the next thing he knew, he was flying in the air.
“OH MY GO—“
Thank God for parachutes.
