Noa heard some talking behind him and turned to see Farrokh and Izanami speaking about something. Whatever it was both seemed upset over the matter and then Izanami began to dematerialize. Noa did not know what to do in that situation and so watched as the woman Farrokh loved slowly vanished. When it was over he seemed broken up over the entire matter, though Noa himself had no idea how to react. Then Farrokh slowly moved over to him and for a time just kept quiet with his head down. It was odd considering when they first met he was more aggressive in nature then that and now it was as if he were defeated. When he spoke, it was to ask Noa a favor. "Of course, what is it?"

Farrokh took a deep breath in and out, and a single tear fell to the ground beneath him. He then looked up to Noa with a smile and said,
" If you want to love someone, make sure you love them enough to lose them more than once. ". He closed his eyes for a moment then opened them again, but began to walk straighter and not slouch, also keeping his head held high.
" She's gone, Noa. But life goes on. We can't get caught up on the what-ifs, should-haves, and if-onlys. Let's go to those ruins and see what we can find. I'm sure that is what she would want us to do. ", he said.
His mood took a total 180, or at least that is what it seemed. He was really just pushing all of it down and trying to put up a facade so Noa wouldn't worry about him. He knew that wasn't a good idea though, as when his emotions become too much for him, his power unleashes. He decided to take the risk though.

Noa was too detached to have understood the concept of love, though he held theories to what it could mean, he himself had never experienced in within his lifetime. He listened to Farrokh and saw the facade for what it was; the man missed his wife and was attempting to be strong so as not to worry those who traveled with him. But it was just he and Noa, there was no need to hide that he missed his wife and would mourn for her for some time. Noa walked over and set a hand on Farrokh's shoulder when he mentioned his wife would have wanted them to go on. "It is alright to mourn your wife's passing. Do not see it as an ending for her but a new beginning where she awaits for you. Her soul moved on peacefully, as your will when it is your time. That I am sure of." Giving him a pat on the shoulder, Noa moved to walk beside him.

Farrokh laughed slightly at Noa's comment. He knew that it was okay to mourn, but he was trying to avoid it or at least slowly take it in stride. In exchange, he put his hand on Noa's shoulder, looked up at him with a bright smile and said,
" You know something, Noa? A long time ago, I remember someone who said something like that. He was like an older brother to me. The day Izanami was executed, I fell into a dark sea of despair that I couldn't shake. Then you know what he did? He came up to me, grabbed me by the collar, looked me straight in the eyes, and punched me as hard as he could. He said, 'You're wife is gone, and it's okay to feel sad, but sitting here and rotting away isn't going to do you any good. You're gonna go out there and make them pay! Nobody can get away with something like this! Not even a Queen! Not even God himself! If there is an army in your way, you'll blow through it! If there isn't a path, you'll make one yourself!', and I rolled with it. He gave me the strength to get revenge, and become a stronger person in time. "
With this one explanation, it took Farrokh back to his younger years, but he didn't feel sad. He actually felt happy.
" I wonder where that guy is now... " he said softly, trailing off in thought. " Did you ever have any older sibling-like people in your life? " he asked Noa.

Noa listened to Farrokh's story about how someone he once knew said something similar but simply punched him instead. Looking at his hand, Noa turned shrugged. "Your body is built differently than mine, I feel if I were to physically assault you with simple force you would win." He let it go at that and continued to walk as Farrokh mused about where his friend was now. Noa could not know for sure, but if death seemed to follow this man, could it be possible that the man he spoke of was also dead? One never knew such things. Farrokh's question about Noa having any sibling-like people gave him pause. "Kor do not have blood-relations. We simply are, or at least I am. I never had a family or sibling like you may have. The closest I had to a teacher were the souls of the departed who taught me about my powers and how to best utilize them. Even now I can hear their whispering, trying to unlock something else within my soul and pass on what they once held to me." He laid his hand over his heart. "The soul is a strange thing to some, but if understood it can unlock much knowledge. It is something like this I plan to try and use for you. Perhaps your soul will give you the answers you need." Noa's mouth moved from time to time, but his voice never really came from him. Simply echoing off objects and the air itself. Its how he always had been, maybe he could not actually talk and the souls merely voiced his thoughts for him. He had only met one other kor and his face was covered, and even that was a brief encounter so Noa had nothing to go off except for his own experience.

Gale couldn't help but scoff a bit at the thought of his tribe working as mercenaries. They were far too proud to fight for anyone but their chief, and their chief fought for Evolution, and so it went. "You would be more than welcome to try, but I have a feeling She would string you like a fish." Gale said absently, grimacing at the thought of the female harpie anywhere near him again. He listened to the small male carefully, relying on his hearing as gaze stayed locked in the distance. As he heard the Koroki stand, though, he pulled his attention back in and made to turn.
"I know it is no likely for peace to last. I can only hope for a time when fighting is not necessary to live." Gale replied with a small exhale, turning just in time to see the Koroki leave. If he truly did require assistance, it would do him little good to just abandon the first offer of help that had been given to him. He followed after Kishi slowly, no longer sure if the smallish being needed the help he had asked before.

Pausing for thought after Noa talked about his powers, Farrokh realized he didn't really know exactly what kind of powers Noa had.
" You know, Noa, I'm not really sure of what your powers are. I know you can communicate with spirits, but other than that, what else are your capabilities? I have actually been wondering for a while now. " he asked. There seemed to be more to Noa than meets the eye, but what it was, Farrokh was unsure.

His powers? It did not seem all that much of a secret of what Noa could do now that he and Farrokh had spent time together. So giving an explanation would not hurt. "Not only able to commune with them, I can also summon them." He waved his hand and in answer the air seemed to shimmer. "Souls are everywhere, it takes only an understanding to be able to call out to them and have them call back. I manipulate, strengthen, and weaken souls. Be it my own or perhaps another, I use the strength and power of my own soul to have a more physical effect on the world around me. For the time I am kept rather limited, but I am finding more and more teachers who are allowing me a chance to glimpse the deeps of their souls and intertwine our powers."

" That sounds interesting. So, it sounds like the more knowledge you can obtain the stronger you can get. Very nice. As far as I know, my power is maxed out. Maybe that is for the better though. " he said. As they walked further and further, Farrokh noticed something.

"Yes, and with our exploration into the ruins I may be able to find some knowledge others were unable to uncover. It's easier to find secrets when the inhabitants of the location never told their secrets to the last explorer." That was one of the perks to Noa's abilities. He had gone to a few other ruins in the past, where searchers of knowledge said there was nothing for him to find, to find a lone spirit and uncover a vault of knowledge no one else could have seen. He was hoping the same here. He shook his head when Farrokh said his powers were maxed out. "I believe your soul has much potential left over that your body has ignored. Your second form for instant. Never be satisfied to sit still if the possibility for improvement is there." When Farrokh asked about the one who attacked them, and if they were forgetting about him, Noa glanced over. "There were five of us before and we barely were able to get close enough to land a hit. Someone with his power, with so much anger, should not be left unchecked. I will continue to search for him, but I will not get myself killed in the process if I know I cannot win. For now I search to improve my skills, then I will look for him, and if in that time someone else defeats him than so be it." He looked at Farrokh. "You are free to continue this search with me."

Since the Koroki had vanished as quickly as he appeared, Gale decided his time would be best spent potting the various herbs and flowers he'd found on his outing. The Cervisong had since made a bed out of grasses and flowers under the Harpie's hut, intent on staying whether Gale wanted it to or not. Of course, Gale didn't mind the creatures presence, and was even comforted by the fact that it would be here to keep his garden safe.
Gale fluttered off the platform of his hut and landed nimbly on the ground in front of a plot of neatly tilled soil. He pulled the bag he had filled with seeds and live plants off his shoulder and began to sort them under the Cervisong's watchful gaze, planting everything in its own separate segment of the garden square. He had maybe a month before the harpies rallied to try and get him to return, which would give hopefully enough time for the plants to sprout and flower, but he reserved a few of the seeds to take with him if he needed to leave before they were ready.

Long ranged attacks are weighed down and fall in-effectively to the ground. The pressure reduces his speed significantly, which decreases his dodge rate by 2 points. Flight is impossible during the spell because of the increased air density. Due to the spells high costs and the limitations of mobility, he tries to only use it as a last resort.
